The big problem with small powerful magnets is, if you do actually swallow them, they tend to attract each other in the body, and if they are in the intestines (in particular) they can pinch flesh between them, denying it blood, and causing it to die and turn necrotic. My near death experience was when I was like 4-5, I was playing in a merry go round (?), that wasn't a perfect circle but more like a hexagon, with some cousins and some uncles, I fell and as a child my first instinct was to want to sit down to get up, but my uncle suddenly grabbed me from my hair and put me out since the thing was still going around really fast and was of the corners almost hit me in the head since I felt under it.
