This video and others in the series are fantastic. Both of my sons recently made Tigers teams in KC. They are excited to get started!

Refreshing to hear this side of scouting. I wish all coaches would take your words to heart and realize how to not run players away. My grandson plays and for the love of the game and commitments to team mates he rises up over and over again and remains steadfast. Just finished up World Series in Louisiana representing Georgia. His Senior next year and exciting to get to college playing time!

Keep your GRADES up no matter who you are getting recruited or scouted by.

I question how much the "how they interact with their teammates and behave in the dugout" blah blah blah really matters, considering how many douche bags are in MLB. If you can hit well enough, they'll tolerate just about anyone.

July of senior summer. Our president was recruited to Mizzou his senior summer. He went on to be an impact player and led the nation in RBI's. You never know what will happen. Keep competing, increase your skill set, and play on the right summer team. You never know what could happen.

@@SonidoM3garumba It depends on the talent level. You have stories like Jimmy Morris, Tim Tebow and Bo Shultz. With that said most players are drafted at the ages of 18-22.
