I actually really liked icelands entry. Her voice was unique and the synths in the background making a sort of edm beat was really cool

Well most of the songs(mainly selected through national final) have already performed live , so unless they change it drastically, their fate is quite predictable....

In the Eurovision, a fate is never predictable.
In 2018, Alexander Rybak was one or THE favorite to win, he performed live in MGP, won his semi-final and.... finished 15 th in the Grand Final.
Conan Osiris have performed live in 2019. He was one favorite in 2019 and he didn't qualified. In opposite, the Black Mamba were a Non-qualifier for SURE in 2021 and they qualified.
Even after the semi-finals there are surprises like the 13 points for Senhit ft Florida or the 48 for Destiny, or the four 0 points.

This year was absolutely stacked. So many memorable songs. Can't wait for next year!!
I loved Spain's pop song that sounded totally fresh while still incorporating traditional Flamenco rhythms. As another commenter said, it's nice when countries tap into their own heritage and culture to create new art.
I love love love the fact that soo many sing in their native language! I may not understand it, but it represents their country and gives me and insight look and how they sound and how music is for them

It was like that most of the time, then more and more started singing in English because entries felt it gave them a better chance of votes. Now we're in an age of embracing the individual ❤ and I agree, it's better.
Agree with your point. Unfortunately many did not, and even when they did, all of the styles were typical am radio pop fluff that could have been from anywhere.
I wouldn't mind if there were some english translations. I absolutely agree that the native languages are pretty awesome.

I really hope Czechia will have amazing stage production and performance. The song itself is really good, it just needs that colorful yet deep presence from the music video transferred onto the stage.
It will be fine, in esc they have much more possibilities at their disposal than in czechia

SIMPLY AMAZING! The difference of styles! One performance is SO DIFFERENT from the previous one -- and the next.
This year is filled with so many creative and original songs! All the different genres and styles are amazing. Hopefully this will inspire more entries to experiment with music, we need this individuality in Eurovision!

Yessss, like almost since ever, with rare exceptions! We from romance countries, do love a lot our languages, they sound amazing... plus, it's the whole reason of Eurovision, to bring a song from your own country, in your native language, for a European song competition... Until Sweden bent the rules...
For that, I'd chose Finland as the best of all Nordic countries this year...!!!

I never watched Eurovision actually but I love how all of Europe and other countries come together and celebrate music and have a good time
They're just using it as a vehicle to (re) launch themselves. Big acts won't touch it. Too uncool.

Yep, I started watching with 2021, it was so nice to see how the contestants supported each other, it didn't feel like a battle for first place :)

I enjoyed quite a substantial amount of the music. Very innovative arrangements and lyrics. Amazing videos and choreography. They were all individually outstanding. Loved it.🌹🦋💕🇬🇧

It is a very good song and Loreen will give a great performance, BUT, it is no 'euphoria'. Other songs that stood out on first watch are Finland and France. I would be surprised if Loreen won this year.

From Portugal, this eurovision will be really remarkable and onde again you guys have another beautiful music, I simply love Due Vite. If you liked "Aí Coração" you should listen to "A Festa" that was the song that lost for only one point and that should have won

I tend to lean towards the artists that write their own lyrics/music. Just like i fell in love with Prince after watching Purple Rain as a joke. I watched this year after the Netflix comedy out of curiosity. Its so European, i cant help but love it. I don't consider myself an ugly American though, as the rest of the world is far more interesting than the US.

My winner is Finland . I also love France, Spain and Serbia, they have amazing songs that stand out for me. Australia and Ukraine, underrated in my opinion and will definitely impress in Liverpool.

Honestly feel like a good half of the songs are potential winners and a majority will be songs will be remembered. Love to see a strong lineup but oh my it will be a bloodbath lol. I'm most intrigued by Czechia's entry. It's got a cool sound and video. I'd love to see how it translates to a live setting.
It´s built for a chorus - unfortunately the song is not as powerfull as in the video. But I will enjoy it when I hear it in the Radio.

Finland´s song´s best parts were not in here. The ending without the start won´t give Finland the real justice. The song is actually really catchy.
