@@CB42081 To each his own I guess.. but a classic is gonna gain value where odds are this will depreciate. Then you figure guzzler taxes. And the cash options with the other cars whereas the TRX was no cash included. Smartest choice would have been the Cadillac or Ford hotrods.

Have you seen any late model used SRT vehicles for sale? Especially the Hellcat versions? They hold their value extremely well. With the TRX having Richards name attached to it, he'll have no problem getting at LEAST $100k for it
@@turtle2448thomas first off no no they don’t, have you seen how much dealerships mark those same srts up way past msrp beforehand? We are talking about a truck here. In five years it will be worth the same as a regular ram. In ten years it will be worth 10k. Every other car that was an option goes up in value. I feel as if Richard talked him into it behind scenes they all said he was gonna pick it beforehand. It was the least valuable car to Richard because he can buy another right off the line. All the other cars have a story and a history that truck is just a truck. Dude could’ve took care of his family like a real man. But he choose a truck to overcompensate for his small wiener I’m guessing

That Truck is worth about $80,000 and if he drives it home it will be worth 75. This was a set up by the Head Monkey and Dodge.

RR just won the internet. Very well done video, greatly entertaining. Seems like the guy made an emotional rather than financial decision ; could have taken the kingT, sold it and then bought a new black truck from a dealer and banked 150 - 200k. But really, a great video.
I really enjoyed watching. Good to see Dennis there too, sharing the fun and the excitement with everybody. Even with this loss, Richard’s garage is still impressive.

The Rolly and 50k is a no brainer really, 100k is way too much truck since you're going to use and abuse it. Take a hot rod, buy a truck for your daily and then the hot rod keeps its value.

First off..Richard showed integrity in this give away..he showed investment prices on what he was giving away and was willing to add difference..I have a whole new respect for him..I actually bought around $400 worth of merchandise..visiting the store all the way from AZ..several times..never missed a show.. congratulations to the winner and mostly big respect to Richard
The TRX over the classic cars built and owned by Richard. I know it’s his decision and all but mannnn…… a depreciating asset versus a +70k generational heirloom. Hats off to Gas Monkey for doing a giveaway and thank you fellas for your service.

Trans am hands down, but that k code was sweet!!! Those two beasts would have been the top two of my top five, I couldn't imagine the anxiety having to choose between the two classic icons. This was fun to watch.
Id take the Gene Winfeild car forsure. He's my favorite Custom Car builder and an even better person. They say dont meet your heros, well who ever said that has never talked to Gene. Hes a true living legend. Id never sell that car unless it was Gene buying it.

That's pretty great. Knowing your history with the car I would have felt (a little) bad but I would have been driving home in the Trans Am, though the '30s Ford hot rods would have made the decision agonizing.

Wow he picked a Classic!!! The obvious best choice was the K-Code Mustang, the $120K Caddy or Gene Winfield car as they will always go up in value. That TRX will depreciate within a few years. But looks like the guy's GF made that decision. At any rate, he still had an extremely cool experience for just buying a T-Shirt!
