  • In Nov 19, Tesla unveiled its cybertruck. exactly 2 years and 2 months from today Jan 2022, when this video was published. This was breaking news back then. It was the first working electric truck ever shown. Not only does this truck look nothing like any other truck-or car for that matter-its specs and pricing were even more impressive. It starts just $2000 more than the cheapest four door F150 in 2021. But it can tow as much as and even carry more than the most powerful F150 variant. At the time, the top two trims was planned go into production in late 2021, and the cheapest trim in late 2022. But all production was pushed back to 2022 and later to early 2023. In October 2021, Tesla removed Cybertruck's pricing and specs from its website. And currently, it doesn't even say what year the truck will go into production.
Since the annoucement, Rivian, a startup who had not produced a single car, delivered world's first EV truck in October 2021. Ford's new EV F150 truck will start production in Spring 2022. And GM's Silverado EV will start production in 2023. I really hope cybertruck came to reality because depsite so production issues, Tesla seemed to always to more work into its product than traditional auto makers. Its body panel can't be dent by sledge hammer.

Now I know what a sledgehammer is for. Thank you! Can you explain what a truck is for?

What country are you from? I am in the US. And I see people tow heavy stuff like a trailer home behind their trucks.

@@WhatOnCZcams Thank you! I'm from Germany. Usually we use cars to pull camping trailer, but a truck makes sense, if the trailer is very big and heavy. Viele Grüße!
