The citizens of the Imperium can also turn to heresy when they have nothing but the shirt on their backs, even the darkest of paths can seem pretty shiny. Even though there's a risk of them being burned at the stake, burned by the Sisters of Battle, shot by the Adeptus Astartes, shot by the Grey Knights, shot by...you get the idea.

The way I see it, Gulliman will fulfill his father’s dream and complete the webway project (leading to a 40k age of sigmar spin-off), and his father will be left on his golden chair with his broken dream of the Imperium, while the galaxy burns.

Question - could one of the remaining loyalist primarchs theoretically be accused of heresy? I know we’ve only got Roboute right now but if another were to return ... or even Guilliman himself? Is the inquisition powerful enough to make a charge of heresy stick? Given what happened with the traitor legions, it seems like an accusation of a primarch falling to chaos might have some weight? Forgive any obvious oversights just recently got into 40k lore and finding it really interesting.
Joe Cockerline legit good question, but probably not. See, Gulliman thought they might be ballsy enough to do it, so upon his reawakening he replaced their head with one of his supporters. That, and who knows how many space marine chapters could unite along Gulliman? All those space marines versus the Inquisition, even with the Grey Knights on the Inquisition’s side, couldn’t take them all on.

maybe on paper the inquisition has power over the Astartes but in practice i don't know how well that would go for the inquisition.
Noah Schneider astartes are still soldiers. While some don't like listening to inquisitors like planatary rulers, they do anyways with gritted teeth. Being astartes doesn't protect you for corruption or being purged for heresy. If you try to fight the inqusitor, you can bet other chapters will go after you as well as other inquisitors.

Is there any such character/formation/fraction or whatever You name it for Space Marines/Imperium that uses similar rule like this from Farsight Enclaves army f.e. Terminators are labeled as troops instead of elites. Or its an unique rule only for Farsight's/Tau army?
