Thank you for going on this ride with us!
Was a pleasure meeting you and being able to show this awesome car on the Nordschleife.
Nice to see you enjoyed it!
You are real beast on wheel !!
Bro that was intense. It became apparent when that other car passed you and accelerated away that you were taking it some what easy. That would explain how completely calm, almost bored your expressions were.
Transmission control needs more work, gear cut cal is very poor.
Left that Porsche 911 in the mirrors on that final straight-it’s was like👋🏻👋🏻dooi
(Aston Martin-- valkeryi territory, that vehicle is.
My thoughts are. ✌️very nice thanks.
@@soujon_supercars Well... I'm with Misha on this one, I'd rather take a ride with a really good one handed driver rather than a ham fisted, over confident, inexperienced two arm driver
He's not only driving with ONE HAND, but often times through gentle turns he's driving with *two fingers* while he uses the others to actuate the paddle and he does it while looking like he's commuting in a Camry. Wild.
Pretty crazy, I think he looked so relaxed because he wad actually taking it some what easy. Maybe because of having a guest in the car? That would explain how he looked literally bored at 250 km/h
Exactly. He almost looks bored!
Are we not gonna mention the hands-off he did a few times on the main straight to change settings??
Pretty sure that's chorizo in his other hand.
If no clutch is needed to paddle shift I couldn't imagine it being a hard task
He must have traded one of his arm for another sack of steel balls. Holy shit!! I was not expecting this much of a speed and car control
This is hilarious
some youtube comments really make my day! Thankyou!!
😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It's insane speed everywhere, car is capable and driver is good.
As a car and sim racing enthusiast who also happens to be an above elbow amputee, this kind of content breaks down barriers. When I lost my arm 27 years ago at the age of 16, I didn’t know what was next for me. I was introduced to another amputee that figured out how to adapt and built custom components to surf and mountain bike with one arm. That introduction changed my entire life. Seeing Marcus tearing it up in that 700hp beast on the Nordschleife not only inspires, but can unlock the mindset to push on and figure out a new way to do what makes you happy. Thanks for sharing!
❤
Misha, I often instruct at "supercar experience days" and I often tell the customers, if you can put me to sleep while driving spirited you are an experienced driver... They all look at me like a madman, but you in this video just proves my point. You don't have to be aggressive to be fast flowing around a track. When they get it right, this happens!
You can learn alot about racing just from playing gran turismo, knowing when to brake and trying new strategies around bends trying out different apexes, you can also turn on the setting that shows you the optimal path and changes colors to show you when to brake, getting your license in that game is harder than the actual driving test, id like to see one of these soccer moms do 3 laps around a small circle in the rain in a 500hp corvette where you gotta keep the car loose the entire time, we have all the simulators but we never use them it always treated like a toy, but yet it’s good enough to teach pilots
@@williambarringer6513I play gran turismo and I can agree on this, and I’m also a pilot lol and yes simulators like x plane 11 are used for commercial use and training in airlines and flight schools
The best advice iv kept with me is the "slow is fast" rule. Sometimes you need to scrub off more speed for a corner than you want to because you feel like you are going too slow, but the exit always makes up for it. Slow and steady wins the race.
you could be sitting next this sweet older guy, enjoying a bratwurst and a beer and never have any idea that he could own the Green Hell like that. That's Porsche factory driver status. That's grew up around the corner and have run it my whole life status. that one-armed man is a fucking goat.
Good advice for absolute beginners but past that, it's a terrible advice.
The amount of strength needed to do all this stuff one handed is incredible! What a smooth driver, perfect ring taxi and THAT SOUND!
On full slicks it's a workout!!!
Didn't you see the size of his forearm? The man is a Beast.
5 Zyl. Sound is great🤩
And holding the steering stable while going over all those bumps on the track! Normally gravity pulls your both hands with the same force but in opposite rotation which cancels out. This time it's all gravity vs muscle.
@@auldmangribble1902 looks like forearm of pro armwrestler)
Absolutely flawless. His right arm must be hard as iron. To the ones saying it's doable try go straight with 270 km/h for sometime and then brake hard with no lane moving and turn on the next S among kerbs near limit without need of correction. No mistakes , never missed a gear , never bumped on a kerb hard . And all this with one hand on a car that weights only 1000kg with 700hp . Not with a polo diesel. Astonishing! Inspiring !! Keep on driving mate. !!
167 really isn't all that fast. On that track it would certainly feel like it though. It would be fun to take a Ninja H2R on that.
He hit 302kph which is equal to 188mph....definitely not as easy as you think especially in a car
Watching a person of his size driving one handed with ease and calmness is like watching a black hole weaving a floral wreath. Simply stunning!
😳😂😂😂
I have no frame of reference.
Misha trusts him a lot, that much that he is able to take a nap. Also amazing that whenever Marcus breaks too soon, he wakes up to see what is going on, thats circuit knowledge on point too hahahhaha
You cannot trust a driver more than falling asleep beside him 😁
*The car that passed him around **6:45** is insane!! Dude just disappeared not long after overtaking him holy shit!!*
😮😮😮😮
What car was that?
@@froggey5689 same car
@@user-wi3xc3hi5z Jesus. That dude was really driving her.
And he has never been seen again. 😅 I would have liked to see and hear his POV. Maybe he was cursing. 🤣
Nice video, i've been handmaking pretty much all of the carbon fiber parts for this car, from the small parts like the steering wheel to the biggest ones including the canopy roof frame. Nice to see it in action on Nürburing!
Oh yeah? At the KTM factory or on your own? A friend of mine races one of these here in the U.S.. My video on it will be out on it in the next week-Cheers
Channel: YouOnlyLIVETwice
@@jdmimportlogistics In factory, that is making all the carbon fiber parts for KTM. They are making street legal version of that car too. But i left the company a year ago, now i am working at Toyota Gazoo Racing Europe in Cologne, Germany, which is FAR more interesting.
Can you not make your mate a nice carbon Arm then please
Davvero? Dv lavori?
Not only the fact he is driving the car with one hand and with much precision , he also drives the car calmly and very SAFE!
He definitly knows his limits
RESPECT !
If you have never driven a racecar on the Nur, you will unfortunatelly never be able to fully appreciate his driving skills. Even with two hands im very sure i could never take that beast so smoothly around that track and be so consistent with my inputs like he was. This dude is an instant legend, incredible
I’ve driven this track on video games so much I feel like I could do pretty well for a beginner
@@williambarringer6513you just feel like that, this takes years of experience
@@clkgtr12 I can rip any car if I know the track, within 3 l ad ok s I were I’ll smoke you
@@williambarringer6513ignore the other guy . You will do very well for a beginner because just knowing the track will instantly make you better than all beginners. There is a reason they use simulators in professional race car academies (Max verstappen being one of the products of sim racing academies) aslong as your using a decent quality wheel pedals with force feedback it will translate very well on a track.
@@williambarringer6513 I have to add to @hebisty4163 that the g-forces and the overall feeling is still overwhelming when you drive it IRL for the first few times. I remember my first laps on the NR very well especially the compression in Fuchsröhre is so intense if you've never experienced it before. It scared the s**t out of me even at somewhat slow speeds (i was doing 180ish).
I was like wow this dude casually chilling with 1 hand resting on the armrest - took me some time to notice he only had one hand. Doesnt make it any less chill looking. He's living his best live. All the best to him - and im not saying this just because i'd love to go for a ride with him as well.
Single handedly, one of the best videos on this channel. No pun intended. Video really speaks volumes on many levels. Epic driving skills from a very modest man.
6:43 Rule #1 Always look at your mirros because there's always someone faster
There's always a bigger fish, even when you're in a 700hp KTM 😂
And he disappeared 😅
That's so cool! He's driving that carbon beast with one hand like its nothing. so fun to watch.
How do you get the emoji?

The control he has driving with one hand... amazing! 👍
I did not notice it when we were out, but when I was editing the footage, I was like wtf.
Ya! I was thinking the same thing. Big cojones!

Could listen to the 5cylinder all day. Do miss that sound but also what a composed and relaxed driver.. totally at one with the machine 👍
What a TOTAL legend this guy. Despite his handicap, driving with one hand is VERY impressive. What a ride, seems like a great chap. This is surely one to remember!
This was the comfiest looking roller coaster ride ever. Man is a legend driving that well one handed and Misha was so soothed and trustworthy he caught a little nap. I love it.
WTF?!?!? Insane!! That´s f'n amazing!! Controling the wheel feedback with just one hand...that´s nuts man! He has more grip in his hands than the tires.
The amount of times I uttered this as I watched him leave 911’s and 720s’ as if they’re standing still. Impressive doesn’t even begin to describe.
The Driver in this case is in many ways the GOAT 🐐
Hands?
It's almost like the car/driving puts you into a trance. :o
He drove indeed verrry smooth!
yeh i found it oddly calming even watching
The sound alone already is very soothing 🙂
This man truly is the epitome of the phrase “No excuses.”
Damn. This car may be light, but the amount of downforce generated by aero is crazy! The first few corners I was expecting anything: slight read slide under acceleration, front locking on braking, anything. But this thing goes as it's on rails. Exceptional track car! I remember my Ariel Atom ride and (power difference aside) it was waaay less balanced.
I've never driven a four wheel KTM, but have owned and ridden a bunch of their bikes. They're light and powerful... but what really sets them apart from anything else I've ever experienced has been the handling. The geometry and weight balance is sublime and they often shrug off road surface issues that should have been catastrophic. Which is a little scary to be honest, because unless you're taking Isle of Man TT or Finke Desert Race levels of speed... well anything less always feels like you're taking it easy on a KTM.
His driving is seriously impressive. Insane how calm he is.
The steering wheel is a little bit modified, right? So that he is able downshift and upshift on one side?
I believe only the shifter paddle
Push to downshft, pull to upshift. It's less common but it exists. Not just for 1 armed people lmao
Here he explains how to shift in the McLaren (from 8.45 min on) czcams.com/video/kru8SKRBYZs/video.html There are no modifications. His others cars are modified to his needs. Very interesting, but in German ;-)
Paddle shifter push/pull 👌
@@miner4236 have it on my sim rig. handy with a tin of beer in the other hand....
What a pair of legends! One driving with only one arm whilst the other falls asleep. What a daily commute! I think props are deserved to KTM for building a car so easy to drive a man with one arm can rinse it round the Ring and make it look so effortless!??!!
Thank you Misha for sharing this. It was very impressive to see his skill at driving even with his disability. Inspiring is an understatement.
The pure class and smoothness of the driver combined with Misha dozing off makes this video priceless :D
This put tears in my eyes. I don´t know what to say.
I feel incredibly impressed by what i just saw, and it humbles me too.
Misha just enjoying the ride, eyes closed, not a care in the world.
Yes this video got me emotional, perfection is such a rare and beautiful thing.
He looks more calm and relaxed while driving this beast then some people taking the tea !
The most incredible looking car I've never heard of, the most incredible sounding engine, and most importantly the most incredible driver I've seen!
I'd say that I hope lego could make a set of this car but I haven't been happy with legos car designs lately, but I definitely would love to get a model of this car!
The camera quality how it captures the speed is so insane, but other than that how he drives the car one handed without any fear is so incredible
It just goes to show everyone, you are never ever too old to have fun. Smooth driver, I appreciated it.
I ride motorcycles and there's older dudes on the track on their 4TH! hip replacement and still rip and drag knee. it's insane! props to this guy! #LEGEND
What a mad lad. He's just chilling like he's cruising in an S class. That machine is a mental bit of kit too.
This thing sounds friggin EPIC!!! That is literally one of the best sounding cars I’ve ever heard. Actually satisfying to hear it bang up and down through the gears. 👍🏻😎👍🏻
Misha I love how you close your eyes to get the feeling and the hole experience from it...simply great - thanks for letting us join in your passion!
That was just amazing...Misha clearly trusted the car and the driver...found his happy place on the track...and took a nap. Who does that! Freaking love it!!
I wonder if he was visualizing the track...
@@mikealfieri641 I bet he knew exactly where he was on the track even with his eyes closed too!
The up shifting gears are so violent or seems that way on camera but the power to weight ratio is crazy too , over 700hp in barely 1ton car 😅
Props to him on the great driving skills with 1 hand
This is in my top five videos on Misha’s channel. The driving is fast and smooth…
He may have one hand, but he definitely has more balls than anyone!
Amazing and pure man.
Absolute mad driving skills!!
Holy shyte! I don't recall seeing 305 kph (190 mph) on the speedo before. He is awesome and the car is incredible. After watching this I can see why you chose this title. It would certainly be interesting to see a lap with the race driver.
yes...305 kph and 150 hrm as passanger. Very cool driver
Truly an insane machinery. You can watch the lap on the Red Bull Ring driven by Reinhard Kofler on our CZcams Channel!
@@soujonsupercars Nice driving my friend! Thank you for taking us on a lap :)
It definetly looked and sounded like if it had at least one more gear or a slightly longer 6th, it could have gone even faster than 305 kph. What a beast of a car AND a driver.
When we tell you be gentle with the wheel, soft with your inputs, this guy doesn't have a choice. His manner is perfect, never trying to force the car never trying to bully it on to line, taking what he has got and making the most of it 👏
One arm has made his wheel handling so precise. To a degree our hands compete with one another - this gent has messages going to one hand... and the movement and control is razor sharp.
Mate this guy is flying through the lap with one hand. I wouldn’t be able to keep up with two hands. Legendddddddd
6:40 who the fuck was that flying by, holy crap.
Gotta upvote.. maybe someone will reply
It's a KTM X-BOW GTX from TEICHMANN RACING. see czcams.com/video/XxwLpYk2f5I/video.html
the car has the spielkind livery so maybe it was felix von der laden
Missing a hand doesnt mean your disabled has just been proven! What an awsome drive! Great respect for this gentleman and his KTM 👌🏻
It's just amazes me how talented of a Driver this man is with just one hand to operate the car. It goes to show no matter what happens in life life the only person that will hold you back is yourself and this man overcome himself and said I'm going to run like Hell on the green mountains. Much respect for this Man that can drive better then all of us that have 2 hands.
As soon as I saw the intro and heard that amazing engine sound I knew it was a KTM GT2!
Absolutely priceless!!! That man I hope will be an inspiration to many. Great to watch!! I started to race late in life with family still at it!!
This has to be my favorite lap and favorite driver and car all together. Incredible stuff. So smooth and fast it made me feel emotional to watch.
What a Beast, car and driver! Amazing dude, couldn't imagine the confidence you'd need to push a car like that with 1 arm. Very talented driver. And genuinely crazy machine. Would have loved to see Misha get to take her for a rip too
Longer I watch, the more I am blown away by how impressive this dude is.
Its not just that the driver is good, the car is also doing an amazing work, this would be really really hard in older racing cars
@@soundmoddinglawyer6367 the good ole blocky tires and no power steering wouldve definitely been a handful!

Best video on this Channel of 2022 in my humble opinion. The raw power and uncushioned experience of this car must be overwhelming.
I have some bad joints from an accident I had as a teen, and it always discouraged me and made me doubt myself. This is so inspiring, what a legend. My excuses are gone, all that's left, is action!

This driver got some balls and dedication. I have seen someone with one hand drift but this tops it. The amount of control you have with one hand at that speed is incredible.
Its crazy how easy and comfortable he makes it all look. That’s Awesome!
This video is awesome on so many levels for me… thank you for posting it, Misha. And huge props to the driver, who made running that car (hard!) around the Nürburgring look so damn easy. You sir, are incredible and I’m sure an inspiration to many! You made my day, my friend. 👍👍
WOW!! Guys driving looks really good. Car sounds great, and reaaally fast.
I always find it to be an indredible amount of trust of the driver, when Misha closes his eyes and runs the lap with all other senses than the eyes.
Misha Charoudin, Thank you for this movie!!! I'am a quadriplegic and also born with a disability. I cried at this movie because it was fantastic to see the one-armed hero racing through the green hell. I love cars, speed, power. As a Hungarian, I couldn't get a driver's license here in Hungary. However, I know that abroad, in other countries, people with much more serious injuries than me can drive cars.
It was nice to see that the one-armed hero was able to drive the car with a V10 engine! Congratulations to the driver! ! At least his dream came true.
Crazy video!! This man driving, wait no... RACING with one hand so calm! Truly remarkable big respects to this man❤ let nothing hold you back!

And he did it gently.
I keep coming back and enjoy this, even months later.
May God Bless him.. So inspiring, He really cool and calm while with his 1 hand . THANKS FOR THIS VIDEO . THE EXHAUST SOUND like an F1 too
Not always is passion matched with talent or ability. Sometimes it is :-) Very cool!! Thanks to the owner for sharing the ride 👍
That fantastic engine plus that perfect gear ratio makes this car a marvel for this kind of track.
I was blown away... good driver, very smooth and nice guy. @4:15 "look ma, no hands" held steering wheel with leg... car fits him like a glove. Enjoyed video very much.
I wasn’t expecting after your words, “something very extra special”… 1:55
Unbelievably talented’s an understatement. Most people couldn’t do this with a lifetime of training, both arms and both hands. 💯
Fun fact..Robert Kubica also has the same, single sided up/down shift-paddle mod in his current Alpha Romeo F1 car. (Except, on the left side)
This was such a mad video Misha 👌🏽
He is driving so relaxed with one hand! Damn that’s impressive! And what a nice car
Just shows the confidence you have in his ability as a driver and also shows your experience of the track as when he does something like go of line or slow when you would not normally you have a look knowing that's not what you normally do at that point on the track. Really good watch. Love all your videos. Makes me want to take my 350z there or my motorbike, I done abit of racing but I just would love to drive it to enjoy the experience and not go for lap times. Maybe one day.
So smooth!!!! Completely feather light touch with the controls.
It reminds me of the way Jackie Stewart instructed drivers; fast is slow and smooth is fast. Flowing control, from brake to gas and steering 👌 perfection.
