Nice demo. Try flying at another location and see how it does. You could have had a lot of metal junk deep in the soil, or rocks with iron in them etc. It may turn out perfect in another location. Happy Flying
Possible. I have tested another drone here and it worked fine but maybe this compass is more sensative

Do you think attaching a GoPro to this drone would be good? If not what cheap drone would you think would be good for a GoPro?
This drone would do good for attaching gopro and check out the MJX Bugs 3 drone also.

Yes its a very nimble flyer quick and decent flight time

Why VR doesn’t work?
If it’s like the mjx original: At 2 bars battery it will RTH if higher than 100 meters or further than 300m. At 1 bar battery it will RTH if higher or further than 15 meters. If less than 15 m away or altitude it will land in place.
PS. Surprised the GPS lock was not that good. All my mjx’s are rock solid. Maybe snaptain changed something.

What about the big metal backstop near you? That backstop could create some faraday-cage-like disruption.
Possible!!! Wow i never thought of that however i did review another drone in this same location and calibrated it in the same place and it was fine but maybe this compass is more sensative good eyes man!!!!!

Make sure your device is 5g wifi connected. 5g wifi is different from 5g cell service coverage.

I think you didn't calibrate the gyro by holding both sticks to 7-8 o clock and try spinning drone instead of your body to calibrate compass and gps.
How's the speed? I know it's not a racer, but does it "zip"? >:0

Maybe because the data was off
Possibly for the follow me and waypoints to not work because of the data turned off but i did try and turn back on but it does say in the instructions to turn off mobile data after loading map and connecting to drones wifi. They should probably just say to leave data turned on for follow me and waypoint features

@@edrone_ face the drone straight up and spin drone while in steady position position you don't spin with the drone
@@duronhampton3060 I have calibrated plenty of other drones using the same method in this video and had no issues with drifting.
