You gotta love this drone shape speed etc I have the red bugs and virhuck V6 all good in my opinion snaptain goes 1 better with the camera upgrade the best part all the batteries are compatible thank for the review TDR 😁👍👍👍

My guess is it flys more like a bugs 2 with a better camera.
Watching now Bryan, pity about the connection loss of wifi at that range specially bring 5G wifi , I wouldn't worry about the actual GPS connection its just the wifi

If it follows you then it is active-track. When it follows the phone or a controller with built-in GPS it is follow-me. When it follows the International space Station then it is called 'a lost drone'.
Not a bad looking quad at all. Got to love that beep! I've said it before, but I have to say it again, the video quality is getting much better on these toy grade quads. Also pretty awesome you took this one to lake Donegal!

The orbit surround mode worked pretty good and the sdcard footage is better than the Bugs series.. good look at it Bryan 👍 #8 the one i was supposed to receive got stuck at the HongKong border and sent back i been told the other day.
The orbit mode was the best thing on this quad

I did a antenna mod on the controller and now get a good 500 meters out of my snaptain.sp700 it’s a mjx bugs 2se Potensic d80 clone ..great first time drones can’t really break them fun to fly for cheap …no mini 2 but fun

I like this one though it doesn't have the best Wi-Fi range. Just wish the camera recorded at a higher fps. I'm getting lots of complaints about its price. It is currently listed too high.

I like the camouflage color. It is a real angry bird. it should be a bit less than 200m distance this bird can go. Maybe something with your phone you are using.
Simon a few others had a short wifi fpv range on this one, not sure why but seems a common thing on this particular bird, it can go the 1km+ control range distance though as RC Escape Pete has shown recently
Loss of connections always a bad thing. looks like a bugs drone to me.
When you purchase the 4k version you will NOT be able to get spare batteries. This battery (3400 mah) has the row of connectors on the head.Bad busy mistake on Snaptain. So after the warranty period you end up with a unless paper weight.
Return to home on these doesn’t always mean “your home”. Ah it has the controller battery beep like the bugs 3 has.

Is there a specific setup involved to enable wifi between the phone and drone? Does it require iOS or android?
iOS or android, it works with both, the setup is turn on the drone then look for it in your wifi settings then start the app
Wonder if the antenna are real and maybe point them correctly. Don't know if you did that or left them closed up.
