Snaptain SP700 Maximum Distance Run

- Maximum distance testing with Snaptain SP700 amzn.to/34Hu7ld at the Desert Flats location.
An AIO VTX is all it takes to push these GPS quads to their limits with more distance than the 5G wifi video feed and have complete control and enjoy cruising the skies care free thanks to the RTH features.
Although it has a fixed camera without any anti jello hardware, it takes decent videos. The only complaint is the camera angle.
Tha maximum distance was shorter than expected since the bar was set so high by the MJX B2SE and the JJRC X8 Cetus but even in this remote location, some runs are better than other runs and the SP700 did just fine.
The recorded video from the on board DVR also needed to be slowed down by .84x to somewhat match the real time video.

We did have a lot of rain recently and most desert floor is semi wet and the dirt is soft soaks up the rain water but this place has finer hard dirt and has to rely on evaporation so it is a bit wet still on the surface.
There’s another huge flats area here where it just collects water and looks like a lake all winter but flat as heck during the summer.
Now do a tyro 119 distance test Please!

I’m not using an iPad on this run but 5.8ghz FPV gear.
I’ve never tested one of them uvc receivers so I do not know if it will work with my phone or iPad.

Are you aware that there are many magnetic anomalies in the deserts of the US that will mess with radio signals even digital frequencies. Could explain the signal losses.
