That "weed" looks like chickweed. The focus is a little blurry, so i can't tell for sure. It grows early spring and sprawls out, has white flowers. You can eat chickweed, add it to salads, or make pesto. You can also use it medicinally as tea or tincture. Keep it in the medicinal flower bed. Look up chickweed to make sure that's what you pulled. I have to try to keep my dog from peeing on my chickweed patches so i can harvest it, 😂

I ran soaker tube along the pockets since none of the emitters sizes lined up well enough. Works wonders for keeping the pockets watered

I think that weed you pulled was chickweed. It is edible for people but chickens love it though. You should try giving any weeds you find in your garden to your chickens, they will eat what’s edible for them and leave the inedible stuff alone as long as they aren’t starving. I do it with my chickens all the time, they’re pretty smart.

I used that; I order it from Azure standard $50.00 a bag. However, the year of 2024 I will buy the ingredients separately and mix it myself as I will get more per pound. No corn and No soy. It's like crack the chicken loves the Scratch and Peck.

Great video. You got a lot done. One suggestion that I saw on another gardening channel was to put the weeds in a large container and put water over them. Kills the seeds and with 511 make super juice for your plants. Even if you don't use the 511 in there, the nutrients from the weeds can be free fertilizer for your garden. Free is always good. 😂happy gardening ❤

I know I’m just setting myself up for failure all the way down here in southern Texas! 🤣🤪 We all know it’s gonna be so very hot in about 5 minutes! Definitely no time for a head of cabbage. 😢 I’m glad you said you’d eat the leaves. I believe we will do the very same! This was a lovely video! 🤗 Baby girl, Puppy and the chickens all got their cameo shot in! 🥰 That kale in the back shot is so beautiful! I planted scarlet kale starts from Lowe’s. I just found your channel with this video popping into my feed, so glad it did. Having a homestead where I can raise chickens is one of my bucket list goals, so I had to sub! Maybe you can put a brick in the bottom on the pail you're using for chicken feed? Then they can't knock it over, ornery chickens!

I've been growing my sweet potato slips in a mason jar with filled water and skewer sticks stuck in them. I've been growing them indoors near a windowsill where it gets a lot of morning sunlight and heat/warmth from the stove. I think heat might be the solution.

If you fridge eggs it breaks down the albumen and your egg whites will spread ,,,, so thats why you dont , i never fridge my eggs unless they are hard boiled 😁😁🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
