I for one really liked you standing back for this video! Not hating, but we see you up close a lot already in the vlogs, so when you want to do a video that is about styling, you want to see everything that's going on. This means standing, posture, showing things paired together, explaining fabrics and you need room to do all that! I feel that if you did it sitting down it would lose some of the most valuable things about a styling video, and I felt that your personality really shone through anyway! I love love love everything you've bought, it was right up my alley and excuse me whilst I pop onto asos and buy it all 💕💕

You've picked such gorgeous pieces here and all in my budget and none of them look cheap. They're classic and you've created a capsule summer collection. Love it Lydia!!!
I absolutely loved this and can't wait for more style videos. What I love about your style videos is how accessible and inclusive they are. As a plus-sized, 37 year old, I can't wear the same things you wear, but I love the overall aesthetic of your style. So I love that when you do these videos I feel like I don't have to pick the exact same item but can look for something in the same "family", such as "linen dress", "denim", "interesting white top", etc. I can feel like I'm keeping my wardrobe current while still tailoring pieces to fit me and my life. So many style channels are so specific and I feel really left out, like they're not including people of different sizes, so whether you're thinking of it consciously or not, thank you for keeping these videos so inclusive. :) xx
THIS SERIES IS MY NEW FAVOURITE THING- can you just come and style my wardrobe please, I’m such a sucker for jeans and a jumper and I hate that I can’t get out of comfort clothes 😂😂👏🏻 your style is so beautiful elegant and perfect and I really do try to purchase some items like it but just can’t find the perfect items 😂😂 I also don’t have a a massive budget, so could you possible do them on more affordable pieces, I’m only 18 and work part time but desperately want the wardrobe like you 💛💛💛💛 I’m currently selling loads on my Depop too, as I’m saving for Final Cut Pro ( and also for a designer bag as I’m always buying primark dupes but so so so desperately want a beautiful bag that will make my jeans and jumpers look a little more appealing) so I can join the CZcams fam, your videos have been a huge part of my inspiration to finally pluck up the courage and just do it!!!! I don't know how you see what you see in an item and end up with perfection. That Reiss blouse you paired with the skirt...is incredible on you. I popped on to their website and realized there is no way I would have bought it without your influence. It is horrid on line- such an odd baby poo mustardy goo color with lilac flowers? You pop it on and all the baby poo/goo is gone! And I am so grabbing it! Your peachy nude Chloe Drew bag was perfect with the too big top. Agree it needs to go back, but I hope the vacancy is filled with something of similar hue to pair again with that bag. The whites, denim and linen, Loved it all Lydia! The new area and mirror reflection added depth and intrigue. Glad the basket was full finally! : )

I love this! I remember, a very long time ago, you talked about giant high-street hauls, and how - if the thought doesn't go into buying things that fit in with your existing wardrobe - you end up shoving them to the back, never wearing them, and then going through the whole process again because you have 'nothing to wear'. This really struck a chord with me! To see you do such a thoughtfully curated selection from ASOS is such a brilliant idea, because you get good value for money but ALSO, you buy things that actually fit in with other, higher price-point clothes. Brilliant!

The format of this video was really good, as was the setup. It's really helpful to see the items completely styled rather than in a sit down unboxing. Don't feel that this type of video is only possible for new items though. It's also great when CZcamsrs show how to restyle or update items from previous years, or even vintage items. I love watching those and find them so good for ideas. I love your channel. Keep up the good work.

This was SO GOOD Lydia. I have been following you for a while and honestly, feel most of the time your hauls are great ideas, but just not budget conscious for me. Taking your appreciation for high quality items and finding QUALITY items at a lower cost was the missing link for subscribers like me. PLEASE do this again at least quarterly!!!

Can't wait for more of these, perfectly done. I can not think of one thing you could should have done differently. You can really tell a lot of thought and consideration went into this by how you described each item and how it would slot into your wardrobe and the attention to detail. I definitely prefer these to the millions of haul videos on youtube where it looks like items were mindlessly selected. All the items are lovely, although I'm kidding myself watching this as I am 6 months pregnant and all the tops I really loved were fitted aha. I look forward to the one next summer.
