Here's some performance testing now that the game launched: czcams.com/video/gl14K4W6_Xk/video.html
First time seeing someone use their cam and mouse to point at things, absolutely love it haha
He is a teacher 😂
It's comically awesome.
I know only one other person that did that sometimes and it was Jacksfilms. Now he has an image of himself pointing (a bit like the wojack meme) that he uses to point and it's pretty funny
you live under a rock and watch asmondgold only
The reason they used the 5500XT instead of something like the 570 is because of the lack of driver support for anything below rx 5000.
Makes sense
Probs also why they went up on aliexpress. For a moment they were going for sub 90 dollars now they’re going for 130+ usd
*though AMD was crushing it with FSR 3*
*no support for older cards huh ? lmao*
Why they haven't used rx 6400 than?
4 replies and I see none of them
Game is gorgeous and on PS4/PS5 it gets by a lot on art direction rather the resource intensive techniques or super high resolution assets.
Should be stunning on PC
So the game itself isnt graphically insane? Like in terms of technicallity? They relied on color and art to make it look pretty? With that being said i was wondering if i could run it with my specs even at low or medium settings

@@jmgonzales7701 Yes u can on low settings, but if I were you I would upgrade your PC, because GTX 960/1060 is listed as the minimum required card on Steam in most new games now.
@@xPhantomxify True, but it also depends on what you play and what standards you have. I had an R9 280X 3GB until 2023, got by just fine at 1080p because I stuck to pre-2019 titles. Soon, XeSS 1.3 and FSR 3.1 could help extend the longevity of Pascal-era GPUs for casual gamers who are rather insensitive to image quality.
I am still impressed by their grass optimization, truly awesome.
I wish they had done more to make the PC version not look like an old PS4 title. Especially when it's launching @ $60.
Reasonable requirements in 2024? Have we finally entered the twilight zone?
Well its a ps4 game after all
Its a ps4 games, so thats why the requirement aint that high, but its still more beautifull than any new ps5 games recently
Does't look resonable to me considering this is a PS4 game and basically requires gtx 1080 for 1080p 60 FPS on PS4 equivalent settings.
The only really well optimized game I seen recently is Horizon forbidden west. This one is just ok.
@@rahulpandey9472 It's not a ps4 game this will be the port of the ps5 version and even then the pc version will have higher settings, pc medium and high settings will be higher than what it would be on a ps5. Also it's a new gen game the 1080 is very dated just because you and others still hold on to it doesn't mean every new game in existence needs to make sure that your card can play on high settings.
Oh, dear. This level of cross platform support with PSN accounts is going to drive a certain segment of the Sony fanbase quite insane.
This is a real comment left on the official blog post from PlayStation:
"This was the last straw, PlayStation. You clearly do not want me as a customer with your decisions. What else, Stellar Blade PC release in June? Probable, at this point. I do not why you copy last place Microsoft strategy. I will be buying a Switch 2 which is a real console compared to PlayStation (unfortunately) and Xbox. I am gonna sell my PS5 later. I look forward to your demise."
So silly lmao
@rise4097 these people cannot offer a reason as to why this is a bad thing other than they want no one else to have their games
You will also have Steam cultists complaining about the PlayStation overlay.
I mean it shouldn't. Helldivers 2 is the exact same thing. You need to sign in with your PSN account to play the game.
@@boydolson5350ofc they can't offer ones lol, they think they payed for their "premium" game so they want that "premium". The thing they don't understand is that their premium games are getting expensive, year after year and the only solutions are: reducing the cost, up the price or make it available on more plateform. Those people are delusional, they are the same type who think that if they buy apple then it's the best of the best when it's not even close to some product made by nvidia or AMD
Hoping this is a smooth port. Played it on PS4 when it came out and just kept thinking *I wish this was on PC*.
Sadly it has nearly 0 marketting behind it. So it's going to have poor sales
It will be. It's the same people that ported both horizon games.
Almost same requirements as HFW:Complete (except for Disc Space). And this game is an amazing, buttery smooth running port. Think it will be the exact same here.

Bought this game on PS4, PS5, and now gearing up for PC. It's going to look and play amazing - especially with dualsense support!
People like you are supporting us pc only people. Thank you. ❤
This is exactly why games are so expensive
I'm the same surprised that it will support dualsense, its amazing! cant wait to play it again
Do I really want that Dual Sense Control for just that game? I already spend like 2 grand on input devices, so I try to avoid spending even more. ;-)
@@TraumglanzNo not for just one game and the most other games are played better on the Xbox controller. The Ps5 controller only works with cable atm and the edge controller paddles don't work either. 😂
*Actually I was completely wrong and you can use it with Bluetooth. In this case I would prefer the Ps5 controller and down in the comments it's explained good 👍
The reason for the 5500xt being the minimum GPU from AMD is probably driver support.
I was going to make this same comment.
think the 1050 ti could handle this game?
Wym by that ?
Same for Nvidia right? As the PS4 equivalent is the GTX 750ti (no longer receives driver support)
@@mikeclarke3990
The Ps4 is about 15-20% better than the gtx 750ti.
About a gtx660 I'd say.
Nixxies is clearly the goat of PC ports. I have always finished their ports on day-one versions and have encountered very few bugs & performance issues (might be due to the fact I have a pretty good system as well). Cranking everything up to the max (RT included) and using DLSS, games have always looked stunning and ran well!
I'm so eager to experience this game at 4K maxed out settings!
Great video as always!!

The analysis I was waiting for
1440p@60 for a 3070 is very good imo. Especially if upscaling is not considered in it. This port is going to be awesome.
It is, when someone actually optimizes their game there should be no problem with 8gb GPU's, so many people were crying how 8gb was obsolete last year using garbage ports as "proof". Which was even worse, many big tech channels ran with that too, that is when I stopped watching many of those channels.
@@evilgeko7
Vram unboxed where so in mindset that 8gb vram is obsolete, cause AMD give them money to promote AMD GPU cause they "have a lot vram". Now AMD cut 500 series driver support, when Nvidia support ancient cards like 900 series, that can play games, and 580 with 8gb is useless because of lack of driver support, even though have "more vram" than something like 960.
yup also we can use fsr 3 frame gen to increase the frames so we're going to hit at least 100fps for this game at 1440p
@@Whe3lzjust want 1440p @60fps also any RT support?(I have a 4060)
@@bnat994 I think using dlss 3 frame generation will give you like 70-80 fps with ray tracing, I might be off tho but I’m pretty sure it can at least run 60fps

@@jmgonzales7701 i think you can run it. Those requirements are without upscaling. So if you use FSR, most likely you'll enjoy the experience. I think the requirements are low because it was released on PS4.
@@jmgonzales7701 im sure you could, just wouldnt look too amazing, either low fps, or low resolution, hard choice to make. 1080p upscaled with quality might be okay for you, maybe you'll get 60fps, idk.
Hyped for this release. Nixxes' ports are the best
Thanks homie been waiting for this PC port wondering how smooth the port was
I think you were right about driver support. Although something like the rx 470/570 would make much more sense to have there, they lack driver support ever since AMD dropped Polaris. Most game ready drivers updates exist to create specific optimisations and workings for new games. That could be why something like the 960 is still there as it is technically the oldest card to still have up to date drivers for it as of now (barring the 750ti but that would be too slow).
GTX 750ti is a PS4 equivalent but the 7series lacks VRAM, I still have a 780ti in a PC but that thing only has 3gb...
It says on your chart at the bottom has 21:9 support, thank heavens for that, I thought this was going to be another Elden Ring where the dev's still think its 2002. I just built a new PC with a 7800X3D and RTX 4090, I cant wait to see how good this looks on an ultrawide 3440x1440. And I'm excited for the game, I've never played the game and didn't watch any game play as I was annoyed when it came out that it was a console exclusive.
My man is reaching for the stars with that build. Please tell me you’ve got an OLED monitor too?
@@MarioGoatse No, I haven't, but it is next on my list to get, either the Alienware A3423DWF or Samsung Odyssey G8.
I think the reason why GTX 960 is the minimum is because I am very sure that when this game will be released. The GTX 960 would get new "official" driver support from nvidia (just like horizon forbidden west). Unlike something comparable to the gtx 960 like a r9 380 or something like that from AMD which they dropped the driver support for those old gpus.
Even right now the GTX 960 was still getting new drivers : 552.22
TBF with how now dlss counts as 1080p pretty much anything will play a game if you put dlss on like 240p mode upscaled to 1080p
@@mryellow6918 Yes but i don't think nixxes would recommend a gpu that isn't supported anymore by amd or nvidia
( now i do understand that there are rx 5500 5300 xt 4gb but those are oem and not the same as the gtx 960 4gb and 5500xt)

This is one of the best looking games out there and it doesn't rely on crazy technical methods to achieve that, I wish more games were like that. Last time I showed a friend the PS5 version of the game he was stunned and he was just riding around admiring everything.
Already platted the game and almost completed Legends mode on the raids. But it has so much replayability I want to replay it on max setings on PC. I love this game so much. Legends is a blast.
Really looking forward to try this game out, glad I built a new pc during black friday last year, so I can run this at max or very high settings to see the full potential in graphics from the game
I can't imagine how beautiful this game will look. I still marvel at it in my ps4!
always good seeing Daniel moving him self on system requirements photo
I've been waiting for this game on PC for years! I just found out yesterday about it's PC release date. Can't wait
Can’t wait - haven’t even finished it on ps4 since I heard it was coming to pc
This was my favorite PS5 game, and I’ll be double dipping on PC!
There's no double dipping, you either log in to an existing profile or create a separate PSN account, which will not let you double dip on the trophies. XBOX already does this with Gamepass PC where achievements are on the cloud and sync up with the specific machine you are playing on.
4:45 very clear explanation
My RTX 4070 is ready. I'll definitely need to use DLSS upscailing, but 4k 60 on very high settings should be doable.
My 7900XTX is ready for battle. Hopefully by that time I'll have finished Horizon
i hope you're playing on 4K, otherwise that's sad

@@tanthokg who told you you need a 7900xtx for 1440p 😶
@@xKamiiii I know that even a 7700xt can do 2K just fine, but I want to future proof a little bit, and don't want to lowering graphic settings for the money I spent
@@tanthokg future proofing only goes so far. it's wiser to invest half the money, get a decent 1440p card and then upgrade in a couple years, but to each their own ^^
Seems like the Deck would be able to run it. Pretty darn good!
Were there any features introduced in the rx 5000 that weren’t present in earlier rx series? Like mesh shader support or something like that that made them put that as the amd low?
Already got the platinum on PS5 and it's a really fun open world game
Map is not too big and nice to travel, not too much fetch quests, interesting story if you are into samurai, well wrtitten characters and simple but effective combat
Also, last but not least, art direction is stunning, if have the chance play it with HDR on!
Really happy that PC gamer have the chance to play it!
Looking forward to buying this. What fps and do you think medium graphics will run smoothly with my pc. I have an i5-9400f and 1660 super
They are looking for DX 12.1 feature set. The 960 is the lowest end Nvidia that you can get 4gb and has DX 12.1, same with the 5500 XT, it you look at the RX 580 its only 12.0. There is a feature there they are using.
Played this years ago and the directors cut looked phenomenal at 4/60 on a C2 oled.
Cant wait for this game!
I think that high settings will be slightly above the PS5s settings because the game looks mostly the same on PS4/PS5 when putting aside the resolution differences. That would make the performance of the 3070 and 6800 make more sense considering the fact that it's running at a lower resolution compared to a PS5.
I think one huge W sony can do if they do build their own launcher on PC. Would be to let you play the games you own from PS store on your PC. Either for free or for a small upgrade fee like their PS4->PS5 upgrades. And guarantee PC-PS crossplay and full PS5 controller features.
Thats what Phil Spencer said when Days Gone came out to PC. Players who bought Days Gone on PlayStation had to buy it again for PC, so they have to pay twice, unlike Xbox exclusives. So yes, Sony's launcher on PC might be good. But remember its business for Sony, and they want money. So we will see what Sony's going to do with it.
@@thecarl1013 Microsoft does it because you access the games on their own store in Windows. If they put their games on Steam or EGS you will need to have to buy it again. If Sony did the same and made Playstation store availabe on PC then they could do the same.
And if they think about the long game they would let you play the games you already own on PS for free on PC to insentive players to continute to buy future games on PS store as they transition more towards being more PC friendly.
Yeah we'll see what they will do.
@@zhafDoes it only work with microsoft exclusives?
Hey Daniel, can you check the pc specs of the game called "No rest for the wicked" if possible? They demand i5-12600k or R7 5800X3D with GPU 3070ti/6800XT for the best 60fps experience @1080p, and that's kinda crazy!
ok i love this guy now
Looks like my 11 year old 4770k will live again.
i just retired my 4790. it was a good decade 🥲❤
I've never played the game but I've heard great things about it. I'll give it a chance and play in 4k with my 7900xtx, super excited!
i was just wondering the other day when this will be coming to PC. Finally!
The official news of this port has been out for a while, it's trailer released a bit ago
sadly no bloodborne yet
another nixxes W. now give us stellar blade soon after launch
The Forbidden West port was pretty solid except for the cutscene fps drops that still haven't been fixed yet. I hope this one doesn't have any issues
I am loving the console ports. Hopefully they keep going in this direction
I have a 6700XT with a i5 12400, problem is I have a high refresh rate 1440p monitor. Prob will start running into issues in the near future if I wanna play my games on 1440p.
Tweak some settings and your good to go,nice pc i have same with 7800xt
got the same setup and slowly started buying am5 parts to cross over at one point.
I guess wait for zen 5 and 5000 series to upgrade
Checker boarding is more like the chess board. Black squares are rendered in one frame and the white squares are rendered in the next frame, then black squares are rendered in the 3rd frame and so on, not interlacing but half the pixels.
Ill have to get this.
Seems like very reasonable requirements
Fingers crossed it's optimized for Intel drivers and I can play it on my a750 on day one
This locks to 30FPS on a PS4 Pro but it's done properly. Yes it's not going to be as good as 60FPS, but it's the best gaming experience I've had at 30FPS by far. It's as if they've nailed the frame times 100%.
i hope for a good port, i really do. ive heard so much about this game. i really want to play it enjoyably. even a smooth 45 fps at 1080p would be great at medium/high settings.
Hey I always wonder about the system requirements when I play games on a computer I mostly use a Lenovo ideapad that has a 6/12 thread and a laptop 3050 and upgraded to 32GB of ram I’ve wanted to play ghosts for a long time(I won’t buy PlayStation from a grudge when I was in high school)
I am hoping I can get 720/60 from it.
Such a great game. If it performs well on PC, I might purchase it again.
Check out Homeworld 3 PC system requirements, they have interesting ones too.
ahh yes it's the right time to watch new video
Cant wait to play this on my lg c2 oled. Just upgraded to a 5800x3d and a 7900xt!
Kukuku, fellow oled adventurer :))
That's what I like to see a game like this that can run at minimum specs so I believe it's gonna run good at mid/high end hardware in my case R7 5700x/RTX 4070. Hopefully after a couple of patches this game will be rock solid.
I really want to upgrade my pc this year, but i am curious on just display card first...is it possible for using 7800XT with cpu 3600X and run 2K/4K?
Was waiting for this video.....
I played it on a RX590 on medium settings got around 60fps on normal without FG However with Fg frame generation got around 75+ so i'd say its very well optimized
the chart is really nice honestly i wish every game on steam did that. just glad i can run it on high settings
Seems like my i9 13900ks & rtx 4080 I bought last year still holds up to this day !
11:26 I think the GTX 960 is a typo and they meant GTX 970.
Steam requirements lists 960.
I have a 5800X3D and a 6800XT and the game runs absolutely amazingly. Averaging 80fps with no stuttering or anything on my 3440x1440p monitor with all settings maxed out and all resolution scaling options disabled.
the PS5 version is running at 4K checkerboard 60fps. 4K checkerboard is pretty much equivalent to running at 1512p which is 5% higher than 1440p.
I could be wrong but the first time I heard of checkerboard rendering was when we went from hd to FHD.
What about draw distance? Wouldn’t that increase CPU load if it increases with higher res?
Draw distance does increase CPU load, but draw distance isn't affected by resolution.
4:35 because games like high clock speeds, instead of core count. A ryzen 5 7600x will stay at 5.45 ghz on all cores easily in games.
How often should I be upgrading my cpu? Like how do I know when to?
Well heck didn't expect pc requirements to be so mid, nothing to crazy. Although it was originally a ps4 title so makes sense. My pc will play it great at 1440 ultra no problem, if the spec sheet is correct anyway. Can't wait, I remember doing a platinum run for this game on ps4 pro and it was very good looking then, but with a decent pc it's going to look and play way better, Noice breakdown for the spec btw.
would a 1660 super be alright for atleast tweaked medium settings? if I must with FSR3
Hope it's going to be a good port. I waited for few years.
Nixxes port of Horizen: Forbidden West is phenomenal so it bodes really well for Ghost.
I9 10850k and 3070. I think I'm ready.
In anticipation of this game and Metal Gear Solid Delta, two Unreal games, I upgraded to the best AMD has to offer for gaming, with a 7950X3D & 7900 XTX. Didn't wanna get ripped off by NVIDIA. I predict I'll get 80-90fps at 4K.
And tbh thats pretty low performance for that level of hardware. Game looks good but not horizon forbidden west level of good. You should be getting at least 4k 144fps locked with that pc considering this is a ps4 game at its core.
Very reasonable requirements. Should be able to do medium/high 1440p with relative ease.

i bought a 4090 system to play this at 4K ,maxed out. I can't wait. All the blood sweat and tears earning enough to finally buy the PC that kid me dreamed of having...no better feeling.
don't forget to convert gpu to a desktop equivalent if you are using a gaming laptop.
my laptop has rtx 4090, so i am guessing it's around the same power of 3090 or 3090 ti. i am between high and very high (closer to very high) according this requirements.
Got Amd 5700X CPU, 32 GB with ssd, nVME, HDD and 2080 RTX . It might run at 1440p (60 fps) very high, depends on optimisations.
My question is always, are they showing native resolutions? Or can we expect to go beyond 4k60 on a 4080 with DLSS?
another masterpiece incoming.
Besides driver support, it could be that they chose the 5500XT due to a potential lack of certain rendering features in older AMD generations in comparison to Maxwell 2.0.
I don't think it's a performance issue.
I was fixing to to say i just now replaced my rx 590. It served me well even on he newest games itd hold strong between 30-50 fps
I wonder if signing into your playstation account will allow for cross-progression
I don't see them moving from their current model of releasing it on ps5 first and then about a year later or 2 later putting it on PC. Helldivers was the exemption from this because they most likely were just doing it so more players would play at launch and it a fun cooperative experience. If they flat out just released their best exclusive games on PC, then its likely that less people would buy a PS5.
Infamous second son on pc would be sick with RAYTRACING support
Waiting for Gran Turismo 7 on pc!
Think they will add this to the other ps games on steam?
I saw this exact video a few months ago right? Either that or I’m clairvoyant now haha
