Thanks so much for watching! 💕 Have you ever cut your own denim shorts at home? How did they turn out? If you end up trying this, I would love to hear how it turned out! ✨
how do you wash & dry them? like what settings?
@@taylorkeith769 I usually wash them on cool and dry on high heat. Keep in mind if you do high heat they will shrink a bit the first time. This is why I buy jeans that run a little big.
I watched a few different videos on this topic. This one was the best. I tried your method on 3 pairs of men's, 1 pair of women's jeans. Wish I could post a photo, they all came out great! The men's are definitely more comfortable and flattering. Thanks for an excellent tutorial. 😀
I'm so glad to hear the video helped and your shorts turned out great! It's actually pretty fun to do too. And I agree, I like my men's pairs the best. Thanks for watching Kimberly! 😊
Best video I’ve seen for this style of shorts!!!! Thanks for sharing ❤️
I appreciate that! Thanks for watching. 🙂
Great idea. I like that you can customize them. Never thought about mens jeans but great idea.
Thank you! 💕 Yes I never thought they would work as well as they did until I tried them. They are way more comfortable too! 🙌
This was such an awesome video! I am definitely going to try this. I love the tips about men's jeans and as close to 100% cotton as you can get. I also love how you showed how to measure and cut them. I'm so excited to try this out!!!
Thank you! It was a fun one to make. Yeah using men's jeans is really the key! So glad you enjoyed the video. Let me know if and when you make them. You'll have to send me a picture of them so I can see how they turned out! 🙂
Those turned out so cute!
Thanks girl! 💕 I was very happy with them. 🙂
Incredible this was so so good
Thank you!
Get 'em girl! I just picked up a pair of Rock Revival (high dolllar) jeans at a sale someone had made a failed attempt to turn into capri pants with. I shall attempt your methods to make them worthy of resale. Pray for me...lol
Awesome, and good luck! I'm sure they will turn out great! Thanks so much for watching. 😊
That was a great tutorial. Best results I seen
I appreciate that. Thanks for watching!
Cute!!!!
So cute ! I’m going to look for my exact knife now lol
I'm glad you enjoyed it. Good luck! 😊
Thank you for posting this! I bought some jeans that just don't work for me. I may make them into shorts!
You're welcome and thank you for watching! 🙂 I'm glad it helped you. Hope they turn out great! 💕
Love DENIM😃👖♥️😘
Thank you
🔥👍🏽
How do you get the bottom to fray so nicely? Do you use the box cutter at all to slit the bottoms? I tried just scissors and the bottoms don't look as nice and frayed as yours 😂🤷♀️
Bummer! Mine actually just frayed on the bottoms like that from washing and drying. I didn't do anything extra. Maybe it had something to do with the material being 100% cotton on mine, I can't say for sure.
Trying these! Any recommendations if you do not have chalk?
I would try using pencil. It may be a little hard to see, but it should wash out pretty easy. Good luck and thanks for watching!
I really hope this works cause I don't want to waste a good pare of shorts
Inseam if you’re taller 3 to 4 inches etc
I wouldn't want to cut squares or fray, I prefer to have it rolled up. Secondly, they ARE already shorts and turning into shorter shorts. from Adem
