Cylinder 1 Misfire P0300 P0301 2015 Dodge Durango

My 2014 Durango is making a knocking noise kinda how you described the Chevy cruzes I was thinking it was misfiring , which is why I was watching this vid but now that you said that about the spark plugs that’s probably the problem

I have the p0301 code and have some shaking while on idle, would changing spark plugs and coils fix that issue?

It could, but you would have to either diagnose it yourself or have a technician diagnose it to be 100% sure. If you are able to have someone scan it and erase the fault codes and then mark and move the ignition coils around to different locations, if the same code comes back than you know it’s not the coil, if it’s the cylinder you just move coil #1 too than you know it’s the coil

Thanks for the video bro, So I'm having the same exact issue and code but only says cylinder 1 misfire so i changed out all 6 spark plugs and continues to give code after i clear and runs bad at different times then doesn't, Do you think motor is shot? or like a bad Cam

Did you try moving the ignition coil packs from cylinder 1 to cyl 3 and vis versa? Also could be a roller failure on the camshaft, seen those go bad a lot

Yeah it needed an ignition coil and a set of spark plugs
