You can't just be born like that. You also can't just work to become like that. It takes both. He had been training about 20 years at the time of this performance.
Thanks for your reaction. It was sincere and genuine! Being your first contact with Dimash, I can tell you that you only nocked at his door. Once you open it, you will experience a new world nobody has painted before. His range is bigger than anybody’s range, but the fun fact is that, in the end, this is only 1/10 of his artistry. You can compare Dimash with other singers if talking about some specific aspects, but if you take in consideration all what Dimash is able to do, than…there is no way to compare him with any other singer. Let’s discover it by yourself. He will surprise you in every song, because every one takes you to another level in a different aspect, technique, genre, registry, expression, voice control, breath control… you name it. Then is when you realize that he is not comparable because he is just the best. He has set a before and after in singer’s history! Welcome to his world!

Dimash current vocal range including growl and whistle tone is 7 octaves and one semi tone (C#1 - D8),that is,what he shows to us,don't be surprised, if vocal range will be bigger. Last year he released his first digital music album "iD",which became platinum in 37 seconds after releasing and 3x platinum only in one hour! He have millions, maybe billions fallowers and official fan bases in 155 countries all over the world! He sang Fift element song - Diva dance with ease! The kid you just heard spent more than 20 years to train himself. He started his music lesson at the age of five(5). His college course is music, obtained a master's degree in music with the highest score a student could possibly achieve, and now working to get his doctorate degree (PhD) in music. Me lleva a pensar en la voz de Dimash y el elemento terapéutico que supuestamente tiene en muchas personas. A menudo he comentado sobre la capacidad de Dimash para transmitir emociones profundas a través de su voz (incluso cuando existen barreras del idioma, Dimash parece capaz de transmitir el sentimiento vocalmente). Por los videos que he visto y los artículos que he leído, Dimash es un ser humano muy enfocado (¡obviamente talentoso!), que tiene un profundo sentido de conexión con las cosas simples de la vida: familia, fe, belleza, niños, amistades y respeto. (No digo que estas sean las únicas cosas que valora, pero parecen ser recurrentes). Dimash suele ser introspectivo, pero parece realmente una persona feliz, a pesar de algunas pérdidas bastante devastadoras en el camino. Su perspectiva me ha hecho preguntarme si es el sentido innato de conectividad de Dimash lo que le permite mantenerse positivo y también le permite ser un narrador vocal/musical tan poderoso. Dimash supports the head voice much better, and sings much lower in the chest voice than Marcelito. It's not even worth comparing them. Marcelito is just a parodist, and does not sing in different styles. Dimash can sing both high and low, while changing his style from opera to pop sound. All singers sing as they can, but only Dimash sings as he wants.

Это не Марселито и дело не в том ,что у Дтиаша больше голосов ,а дело в том как Димаш ведет себя на сцене ,как он преображается когда поет ,как он всего себя отдает тому что исполняет в данный момент ,он просто живет этим .У Марселито этого нет ,по крайней мере я этого не заметила, вот поэтому от исполнения Димаша почти у всех мурашки .У Димаша непередоваемое обаяние и огоромная харизма

This is the song of the songs for Dimash and us, his Dears (This is what Dimash calls us fans.) This song comes from the famous Canadian-French rock opera 'Starmania' 1978, well known in French-speaking countries) and is one of the most difficult songs to sing and made Dimash a mega-star overnight.
In 2017 Dimash received a wildcard for the “The Singer” competition in China. He was the youngest participant ever (22 years old) and the first non-Chinese. Foreign participants were actually forbidden until then. The director ignored the ban, believing Dimash would only stay 1 or 2 episodes and then go home.
Despite Dimash's planned brief presence, his name should be symbolic and understandable to the public. The name Dimashi was chosen and Chinese hyroglyphs were assigned to the 3 syllables: * Di - achievement * Ma - gemstone * Shi - dream, wish.
Only professional, award-winning singers take part. Nobody knew or heard Dimash before and he had to start first ... and after this song Dimash captured the hearts of over 600 million viewers overnight. The next day, bodyguards stood in front of his door.
The competition consisted of 14 rounds over 4 months. The jury consisted of 500 spectators. With up to 1 billion people watching this TV program and international interest was aroused. The performances were uploaded to CZcams ... and so we became Dimash's Dears.
The Chinese organizers planned that Dimash would survive two episodes of the competition. They didn't really believe in him. But Dimash came, sang and stayed ... for the next 3 years in China ... but he only finished second in the competition because he is not Chinese (conditions have changed: 2018, Jessie J. won).
A few months later Dimash sang this song as a guest of honor at the opening ceremony of the competition 'Slavic Bazaar 2018'. (He himself will no longer participate in competitions.)
