He's the pride of the younger generations (he's 31) and has a HUGE fan base called the Martians, and has been called the most influential music artist in China currently because of the innovations he's made in the Chinese music industry. He has an incredible voice and a great talent for composing and arranging, and his stage presence is incredible. If you do decide to check him out, start with his performances on the Chinese tv show called Singer from 2018 - Nunchuks, Qi Tian, I Don't Care, Child, Jackdaw Boy - you can find links with English subtitles on the youtube channel Hua Chenyu English Subs! He also has some amazing concert performances, but the Singer show is the best way to get introduced to him, and then if you like what you see, venture into the concerts.

Born with perfect pitch and a passion for singing, even in infancy. Parents in opera. Music academy beginning at age 5. Since that time, 3 hrs of training EVERY day. Now 27. And he is a dear, dear young man, truly loves his fans, who he calls his Dears. This was a competition in China. Winner had to be Chinese, but this performance of SOS made him famous overnight. I would add Dimash, in an interview, said he arises at 5:30 am to practice for 3 hours every day. He swims underwater the length of an Olympic pool to expand his lungs and maintain energy. He studied Tae Kwon Do for many years but has had to give it up because of so many demands on his time. There is a video on youtube of him doing a high kick that is amazing. His mother says he is a perfectionist and will never accept anything less. Offstage he is quiet, mannerly, humble, and at every concert, he speaks about his desire for all people to get along and live in peace.

There are English subtitles. He sings in many languages. Yes he is professionally trained since age 5. He’s 28 now and has held concerts all around the world. He will always keep you on the edge of your seat. He became famous in 2017 during a show called the Singer in China. He came in 2nd as he was an invited guest. All of the other competitors that year were Chinese. There is no way in hell the woman actually earned 1st place but she was Chinese. Dimash came in as the dark horse and blew them all away. In my eyes and ears, he won that competition. One of my favorite songs is Know that he has sung depending on how he feels differently each time but then again, all of his songs are my favorite. Keep in mind that his English wasn’t perfect in 2017, he was just beginning but now is a whole different level. I believe his little brother is helping him in translation. One other beautiful thing about Dimash, unlike me and others who listen to songs sung in other languages and like them, Dimash knows exactly what he is singing. His accent may alter a few English words but that’s fine with me. Love him. He’s my Vocal Athletic Prince. The best in the World and he worked hard to do what he does like a sport. A year before this Dimash won this competition. This time they called him back. Slavic bazaar called him bac a company weeks ago to judge the competition and he sang at least 3 songs same exact this in new wave in Russia. Dimash has left seeds everywhere. Dimash leaves peace everywhere he goes.
The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. I had the opportunity to say this to Dimash, personally, when I was with him in Latvia where I went, coming from Portugal (there are 8000 km round trip), on the 7th of March 2020. You don't look like "The Terrible" so I'll subscribe and give you my like. This was the first Dimash song that I heard and I got caught up in it !!! For 2 years I have been one of Dimash's "dear". One more of the millions distributed by the world. Dimash is the best vocalist in the world. Possessor of "absolute pitch" diagnosed at 5 years of age in which he began his formal musical training. From there he continued his training until he graduated from the Faculty of Arts of a prestigious University of Kazakhstan until he obtained his degree in classical and contemporary music. Later he completed a master's degree in Composition graduating with honors. He is currently pursuing a doctorate in musicology. He speaks Kazakh and Russian and studies English and Mandarin Chinese. He sings in 12 languages. He is a multi-instrumentalist (7). He has dabbled in dance, acting, advertising modeling, and audiovisual directing. He has received countless awards and distinctions at home and abroad. He lives with his parents, brothers and grandparents in Kazakhstan. He is just 27 years old and 6.3 feet tall. In the future, Kazakhstan will be known only for him and other talented people from there (instead of Borat, who of course has nothing to do with the country - I know Kazakhs hate what he did). In this Slavec Bazaar performance Dimash is 24, and as crazy it sounds, he has become even better now at 27. His latest performances are just bombs. I recommend 'Ave Maria' which Dimash performed in New Wave singing contest/festival. He was one of the judges and a guest performer. 'Ave Maria' is his original piece - differs from others [!] - and composed for him by Igor Krutoy. Remember that name; they have a collaboration from which many great works are created. Then maybe his another masterpiece by Igor, 'Stranger'...

You sort of started at the beginning, SOS was the song which broke Dimash into the Western world via a singing contest in China 2017. You seem to have jumped to "Stranger" and "Ave Maria" which is his last songs. You have soooooo many in between to watch. Dimash has perfect pitch, only two in the world who can do this. Sings in 12 languages, speaks 3 and is learning English and Mandarin. Plays around 7 instruments. While going through his education. He was 22 in I am a singer, the youngest ever on the show. First song he sang was SOS - next day viewing figures jumped 600 million. Really worth the watch, remembering he was the new guy on the block with a lot of very experienced singers. His fans he calls them "Dears" will probably give you a whole list of songs to follow. After listening to him, other singers sound so ordinary. His bar is so high. Every genre, every note, near on 7 octaves. Blessing to your ears. None of those auto tunes, duff notes. Nothing. 20 years of hard training and mother nature's gift. You have not been Dimashed - enjoy.
In a lane all his own. Dimash not only has incredible range but his singing evokes emotion. He is "living" whatever he sings about and takes us along for the ride. ALWAYS! Take a look at Sinful Passion or Adagio or ANYTHING he has released, really. Your reaction is universal, btw. Great reaction, since that performance Dimash has become a global superstar and his voice and stage presence have got better and more formidable. The only reason he is not better known in the US and the UK is that he won't sign with any agency or producer so that he is free from constraints over his music and performances. He's produced a mass of amazing work since this including the best MVs I have ever seen. He works only with the best of the best including a long standing collaboration with billionaire Russian composer Igor Krutoy who came out of retirement purely to write music for Dimash. Some of them have to be questioned several times to understand… they are so profound. Songs in his native Kazakh language are incredibly touching and uplifting at the same time.

If you are going to continue on your journey with Dimash, and I can tell you will, you will have to relinquish that antiquated view of men crying being "silly". If you don't Dimash will take care of that for you. When we're exposed to higher levels of energy (love), tears automatically flow. And Dimash, certainly, exposes us to that emotion in most (if not all) of his performances.

This was 3 years ago, you should hear him today, so much better now, and he was perfect then! THE greatest vocalist of ALL time! You’ve seen about 5% of his talents! He sings in all genres, pop, opera, rock, folk….all incredible, you should react to two of his other latest new songs Ave Maria (Angel Dimash) and Fly Away (very now!) they are both on his channel. He’s also one of THE greatest live performers, but he will always put the song first, both regarding vocals and performance aspects. I would add Dimash, in an interview, said he arises at 5:30 am to practice for 3 hours every day. He swims underwater the length of an Olympic pool to expand his lungs and maintain energy. He studied Tae Kwon Do for many years but has had to give it up because of so many demands on his time. There is a video on youtube of him doing a high kick that is amazing. His mother says he is a perfectionist and will never accept anything less. Offstage he is quiet, mannerly, humble, and at every concert, he speaks about his desire for all people to get along and live in peace.

There are English subtitles. He sings in many languages. Yes he is professionally trained since age 5. He’s 28 now and has held concerts all around the world. He will always keep you on the edge of your seat. He became famous in 2017 during a show called the Singer in China. He came in 2nd as he was an invited guest. All of the other competitors that year were Chinese. There is no way in hell the woman actually earned 1st place but she was Chinese. Dimash came in as the dark horse and blew them all away. In my eyes and ears, he won that competition. One of my favorite songs is Know that he has sung depending on how he feels differently each time but then again, all of his songs are my favorite. Keep in mind that his English wasn’t perfect in 2017, he was just beginning but now is a whole different level. I believe his little brother is helping him in translation. One other beautiful thing about Dimash, unlike me and others who listen to songs sung in other languages and like them, Dimash knows exactly what he is singing. His accent may alter a few English words but that’s fine with me. Love him. He’s my Vocal Athletic Prince. The best in the World and he worked hard to do what he does like a sport. A year before this Dimash won this competition. This time they called him back. Slavic bazaar called him bac a company weeks ago to judge the competition and he sang at least 3 songs same exact this in new wave in Russia. Dimash has left seeds everywhere. Dimash leaves peace everywhere he goes.

The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. I had the opportunity to say this to Dimash, personally, when I was with him in Latvia where I went, coming from Portugal (there are 8000 km round trip), on the 7th of March 2020. Dimash is the best vocalist in the world. Possessor of "absolute pitch" diagnosed at 5 years of age in which he began his formal musical training. From there he continued his training until he graduated from the Faculty of Arts of a prestigious University of Kazakhstan until he obtained his degree in classical and contemporary music. Later he completed a master's degree in Composition graduating with honors. He is currently pursuing a doctorate in musicology. He speaks Kazakh and Russian and studies English and Mandarin Chinese. He sings in 12 languages.
He is a multi-instrumentalist (7). He has dabbled in dance, acting, advertising modeling, and audiovisual directing. He has received countless awards and distinctions at home and abroad.

Thank you for a beautiful listening! Yes, Dimash will be an absolute legend. For many, he already is. He has multi-million following from all over the world. And it's growing fast. In the future, Kazakhstan will be known only for him and other talented people from there (instead of Borat, who of course has nothing to do with the country - I know Kazakhs hate what he did). In this Slavec Bazaar performance Dimash is 24, and as crazy it sounds, he has become even better now at 27. His latest performances are just bombs. I recommend 'Ave Maria' which Dimash performed in New Wave singing contest/festival. He was one of the judges and a guest performer. 'Ave Maria' is his original piece - differs from others [!] - and composed for him by Igor Krutoy. Remember that name; they have a collaboration from which many great works are created. Then maybe his another masterpiece by Igor, 'Stranger'...

You sort of started at the beginning, SOS was the song which broke Dimash into the Western world via a singing contest in China 2017. You seem to have jumped to "Stranger" and "Ave Maria" which is his last songs. You have soooooo many in between to watch.

Really worth the watch, remembering he was the new guy on the block with a lot of very experienced singers.

Great reaction, since that performance Dimash has become a global superstar and his voice and stage presence have got better and more formidable. The only reason he is not better known in the US and the UK is that he won't sign with any agency or producer so that he is free from constraints over his music and performances. He's produced a mass of amazing work since this including the best MVs I have ever seen. He works only with the best of the best including a long standing collaboration with billionaire Russian composer Igor Krutoy who came out of retirement purely to write music for Dimash. Please consider doing more reactions to Dimash, Sinful Passions is a great follow up, the Arnau concert version showing an example of an early song but with a more up to date vibe.

If you are going to continue on your journey with Dimash, and I can tell you will, you will have to relinquish that antiquated view of men crying being "silly". If you don't Dimash will take care of that for you. When we're exposed to higher levels of energy (love), tears automatically flow. And Dimash, certainly, exposes us to that emotion in most (if not all) of his performances.
Dimash released his newest version to SOS, a few days ago. He has only improved. It is from an unbelievable Digital Show that he did, back in January. I had not heard of Dimash back then. Dimash is slowly releasing his digital show. There is nothing better. Thanks from Canada.

He sings in all genres, pop, opera, rock, folk….all incredible, you should react to two of his other latest new songs Ave Maria (Angel Dimash) and Fly Away (very now!) they are both on his channel. He’s also one of THE greatest live performers, but he will always put the song first, both regarding vocals and performance aspects. SOS was sung in French (a song about suicide), he sings in 12 languages. His latest new songs are in English.
