Cheap & Easy - Making disposable epoxy resin forms molds

In this video I am making an epoxy resin form/mold out of an old cardboard box using bits I had laying around the workshop. It show cases my process and the issues I run into making it.

Could you have used hot glue in this scenario?

I’m still on the fence about hot glue, Iv had it fail more then silicone, I think because it’s more rigid, Iv used hot glue and flooded an area when a small leak happens but that’s not practical but it does most definitely reduce the leak if you can pile it on quicker then the resin is coming out
