Hmm i nedd bigger ones like 80cm x 125cm or 1m x 2m? Is th7s possible
I'm interested in like 3 form's. 10" 12" 25" forms and I'm located in the Bahamas.
@@stephenknowles5248 Unfortunately we don't ship to the Bahamas.
Wow, that's fantastic. What are those forms made from?
That shot of the epoxy curing was beautiful!!
Thanks!
Thank you so much. I learned a lot!
Just purchased one, can't wait to get it and start designing! Thanks for making these
Thank you for the order! You are going to love the form. They are great for any shop!
I purchased a No Seal Form from you and I'm on my 3rd pour. Just love it! Thankfully I have figured out how to adjust the size with simple dividers wrapped in tuck tape. It worked out well. Would love to see some burl in your wood box sets. Fingers crossed!
So glad to hear that you are enjoying the No Seal Form! They really are a game changer, especially with some dividers! I think we will have to start selling burl. We have been getting lots of requests for it lately! Thank you for the feedback!
Thanks for the tips.
Tha I you for watching! We appreciate the support!
God! How I love what you do!!!
Wish I could have seen you finish it out
Just bought one of these and got it today I’m super excited
Did it work well for your project?
I just discovered your videos and am really interested in these molds….Can you tell me if when you release the form, are the sides clean enough that you won’t have to sand the sides? Instead of using wood, I want to use large three demential dried flowers.
Gr8 job
These are awesome. Can’t wait to try them out. Please come out with more size options smaller and bigger
Thanks for watching! Are there any specific sizes that you have in mind?!
Nothing specific, just like options for future builds.
@@jeffmackdesigns 36" roundie, wanna make a dining room table for a small area.
Exactly why I went for the no seal forms over building my own. I was making them out of MDF and waiting/wasting a day letting the caulk cure. Then when I went to pour sometimes the mold half leaks and sometimes not. Was too much of an emotional rollercoaster. Now, no worries and no stress about building a mold u less it's a custom piece
You Are absolutely right! Huge time saver and no stress! Makes the entire process more enjoyable.
Which material are you using for creating own forms for the epoxy projects. Which material is the white plates which you see all the time on epoxy projects?
Thx for sharing and answering
Just found your site and I have ordered some forms and am really looking forward to try working with resin what is a good starter project?
what is the typical thickness of wood used in a charcuterie board like you used in this video? would 1" be good or too thin?
Do you ship the forms to Australia
I purchased the form and you now have weights for them. Do you have a video with you using the new ones?
Do you need to use fans to cool the eco poxy down when doi g thick pours
Thank you for the video! do you supply dining table sized forms of this type?
Unfortunately for that sizing we do not!
I am pouring (2) large desk tops, where can I get either your form tape or the material you make your forms out of? @Jeff Mack Designs
Do you build mold in the size 36" W * 74"
For a kitchen island
Which type of wood have you used in this mold
Do you need to use a mold release?
I have a question about how to properly use the dividers? How do you secure them?
How long do you let it cure before you de mold and begin the final steps on the piece?
bonjour, if I have to fix table legs in resin, do I have to use wood screws? pre-drill? for example for screws of 6 make a pilot hole of how much? merci 🙏
Are your molds kiln safe? I live in Oregon and there's only 2-3 months of the year where I can have a chance of keeping a constant temp to properly cure
Are floating desks worth it?
What size form was the one used in the video?
Sir, how to make sure the wood and the resin will stick together? Are the resin at the edges the reason why this happening ?thanks
What kind of box do you make what do you make out of it or what do you use to make it should I say my wife is trying to make her crafts and do a box like that is it just a plastic box or what is it
What link can I buy your molds please
That was very enlightening What do your table forms cost where the price ranges
Hi! Thanks for your interest in our epoxy forms. You may find them here: empiregoods.com/collections/hdpe-molds-forms
This looks awesome! Question, do you custom make these forms?
We don't offer custom sizes but we do sell dividers that work within the form sizes that we sell so you can customize the size of the piece your pour.
Do you use any release agent on any type of molds? Or do you recommend it on the thin silicone molds that you use to make serving trays etc? Your thoughts and time are greatly appreciated!
Typically no, we don't have the need for mold release. That's mainly because we use silicon molds or hdpe forms. Would never hurt though!
where can i purchase one of these forms in a 24''x40''??
What size form is being used in the video?
yes, I found it in-form-ative
What type of wood is that ?
any particular reason you are tracking the number of times the mold has been used?
How do we get a job at your shop?
It does not stick to the form? What should I do to prevent it from sticking if it does?
Thxxx best epoxy videos in yt
They just simply don't stick. Since we haven't had any of the pieces get stuck in the form, we haven't had a need to come up with a back up plan.
What type of clamps are those?.
Just recieved my HDPE resealable form from you guys in the mail yesterday. Preping wood all day to start casting. A video with any tips or tricks using one of the resealable forms would be awesome.... Ps who do you buy your burl wood from?
Thanks for the Order Rob! This video will cover a few tips and tricks but we can definitely make a video with more in depth details about these forms and the best practices of using them. This piece we had kicking around the shop but we buy from a Local Wholesaler. I'm not sure where you can buy burl online though. We have thought about adding it to our online store!
@@jeffmackdesigns Thanks very much. Id love it if you are could add burl to your supplies. Currently I have to buy it from the states and its big $
@@robw5088 Stay Tuned!!
@@robw5088 where I live, the amount of burl used in this one board would be somewhere in the realm of $200. I see our Canadian neighbors using it like it's going out of style!
I can't remember the exact cost of these pieces but it would be much less than $200. Maybe it's time to move to Canada for the Burls!
What type of pattern and where can I order it in Israel? Thank you very much for your help
I recently received two of the forms and just removed the first sample piece and poured a second a few hours ago. I went with the smallest (4.5"x25" coaster) form to use for coasters (duh) and figured it would be useful for samples/experiments as well and then I ordered the largest (24"x48") which will hopefully cover coffee tables and most other items. I figured that I'd cut a couple of pieces of scrap and use the house wrap tape to make dividers to use - have you ever tried that? Also, any thoughts on making larger forms or do production or shipping really limit the feasibility of going larger?
Hi Steve,
We have created dividers using plywood and the sheathing tape. It works really well and I would recommend it. We have considered larger forms but (as you mentioned) the shipping and logistics of it just doesn't make sense from a business perspective.
Here to win that dope ass coffee table but also to get lost in my obsession with resin lol
Thanks for dropping by! Good Luck with the contest!
هل يمكنني أن اعرف ما نوع هذه المواد
You mentioned that the form is tapered on the sidewall for easy removal of the cured piece. Does that mean the sides of the cured piece will not be 90 degrees or squared?
exactly
Can I get a price for a custom 1 47 in long 14 width
Are these the same as the Black Forest wood company molds?
Black Forest buys them from the same place we source them.
where could I find wood like that? what is it you made with this? It's beautiful but what is it?
We offer various species of wood at www.jeffmacksupply.com
Would love to purchase one do you ship to the Uk 🇬🇧 thanks
We do ship to the UK. You can order at www.JeffMackSupply.com
The overpour on the top of the piece.....do you do this to prevent cupping? Why completely submerse the piece? Thank you
Thats a good question.
Im also curious
its very similar to a pizza dough proofing box. has anyone tried to use one of those
I've just brought a Pizza dough box for this exact reason, in the UK a mold that is a dough tray with a few holes drilled at the top for clamping is £100, a HDPE dough box was £10. If it works great if not it's only £10 😂
Probably a silly beginner question, but what do you clean your mixing paddles with?!
I’m curious about this ? Too
No seal mould wow
But what the material of this mould?
The molds are made from HDPE. You can order them on our website www.JeffMackSupply.com
What are the molds made out of, they look like ceramic or porcelain? wasn’t sure though. Thanks guys!
The molds are HDPE. Reusable with slight flex to allow for easier de-molding! jeffmacksupply.com/collections/empire-molds-guaranteed-for-life
Do you ship tu USA
We absolutely do! We ship to the USA every day. You can order at www.JeffMackSupply.com
What kind of tree is this?
Any bigger? Like 24” x 72”
Hi Mike, Unfortunately the largest size we carry is the 24" by 48".
My reusable form arrived today and there is notice which says it must be sealed before first use, sealer was included but no instructions on how to seal; inside? outside, ? How to use the cross bars would also be helpful
When sealing the molds, you simply want to remove the walls of the form and apply a bead of silicone between the wall and the base of the form and bolt it back together. The cross bars can be seen in ction on our CZcams Video called "How To | Epoxy + Wood Cutting Board with Epoxy Handle".
Hi from where can i buy these form?
Our epoxy forms are available at jeffmacksupply.com/
Why do you have the use ticks on the outside of the mold as seen around the 4:13 mark?
Great question! We started that tally to see how many uses you can truly get out f the form before it shows any signs of wear. It's not necessary for the customer to do that. We just like to do it for our own internal record keeping.
Hello Friend.
I'm from Brazil, and I would ask you for help.
Your shapes that you use to make your boards, you manufacture yourself, or buy somewhere.
I could make a video of how you make your molds.
Good question !!!!
No

Do you make these forms or do you purchase them..?
You Can order these forms from www.JeffMackSupply.com
@@jeffmackdesigns thanks
Just found your channel. Love the forms; will be ordering soon. Question: do the HDP blocks pop off when epoxy is cured? Thanks!
They should, just a good smack from a rubber mallet usually does it
Where can I get this form ?
We have our forms available at www.JeffMackSupply.com
How do you take off the white pieces of the bottom
Wondering that myself.
Where can I get a form ?
You can order forms at www.JeffMackSupply.com
Do you use any type of form release before the pour?
With these No Seal Forms, there is no need for a release agent. The cured epoxy doesn't stick to the HDPE.
Can I order a form
You can shop forms at www.JeffMackSupply.com
Love these but I don’t love the shipping cost lol.
Free shipping to Canada and USA when you spend over $300cad ($240usd)
What's the difference in Reusable HDPE form and the No Seal Forms?
The Resealable HDPE Forms are resealable (The side walls bolt on and off) and the No Seal Forms are a one piece construction which don't require and sealing. The main benefits to the resealable forms are that the walls are 90 degrees, some of them come with dividers and they all come with hold downs to clamp your piece down.
@@jeffmackdesigns so with the resealables you just have to use a little bit of silicone...
@@moodymade3884 That is correct. a light bead between the side wall and the base will do the trick.
This is probably a stupid question that won't get answered anyway but I'm confused, you clamped rhe wood down but the finished product out of the mold still had a nice even layer of acrylic on the bottom
Do you think you'll ever design these forms in other shapes? Say cylindrical or pyramidal?
Hi Kris,
We currently don't have any plans on releasing any different shapes aside from round and rectangle.
My first time making a resin river table I did the pour and it looked great. Then half of it leaked out. It was a very bad feeling.
It's happened to the best of us! Always a good idea to keep an eye on your form for the first few hours unless you are using one of these NO Seal Forms.
@@jeffmackdesigns i got one and I cannot wait to use it. Unfortunately my shop is not heated (i mainly blacksmith) so I cannot make a new table until spring. At least I can forge out table legs though.
@@DerKooze Nice! It will be worth the wait!
Okay
What about another shape like oval
Not me. I used plastic bins. When I started watching resin video's years ago and saw them making walls and then adding glue. I thought thats not very smart. Why not just use plastic bins. I got my first ones from the dollar store.
Fiber or plastic
These are made from HDPE. We sell them on our website www.JeffMackSupply.com
wait so this is reusable?
Frustrating that these aren't in the UK, shipping to UK is crazy.
It is not that hard to seal a mold...if you cannot do this maybe you should not be messing with hundreds of bucks of epoxy resin,it will be ugly and expensive.
Epoxy is not safe for you. Think how epoxy and similar chemicals and microplastics actually affect you and the environment.
