Neigong, as a term, in the beginning refers to methods of Taoist Breath Training, and Training which transforms the Bone and Tendon Networks of the practitioner. In the first stages of Neigong Training, the exercises are often very simple, repetitive movements, with a focus to Unify the Movement and the Breath together, in a state of Harmony. At a Higher Stage, Neigong Training includes methods of specific Meditation Practice dealing with Concentration and also Dissolving into an Empty or No-Mind State.
We especially find Neigong Practice in modern times within the Taoist Internal Martial Arts. Nei - means the Inside, Inner or the Internal - Gong - means an organised system of practice, an art, or a method of self cultivation. Nei Gong can be translated to mean - the Art or Way of Inner Development. Here we understand the use of the term 'Inner' refers to the Inner Body of Energetic Centers, Meridian Channels, and the 'Qi' or Energetic Life Force itself. In this video we begin exploring the four principles powers or Inner Strength we find in the Taoist Martial Arts. These Four Powers are termed as: Rising / Spiralling / Overturning / Descending.
We seek to guide you on the Path of Taoist Practice, and share easy to follow and systematic training methods from the Traditional Taoist Arts.

Thank your for this great instruction.
    I have a question.
You say on the last excersize tthat the rasing power comes from the opposite food.
Is there simultaniously the descending power from the downward moving hand going down from the other hand the other food?

@ralfstofer8609 - I would say it is relative and changes the longer one practices - fundamental movement drills such as the 'Four Powers' - rise / drill / overturn / fall - need to be trained in combination with a program of 'Standing Meditation' - the Standing Meditation will cause changes to the physical structure and the soft tissues in the body - which will allow for a different unified connection within the pathways of force that travel from the legs, into the waist, and express through the arms -- my advise is to not overcomplicate the practice and to invest in repetition - the change and development is a compounding process that takes place over time. We plan to offer an intensive online training course this year in 'Hsing Yi Neigong' - it will be a very deep and complete offering.... be on the look out....☯

Can you slow the movements down

    • @ImmortalArtsAcademy

Yes - you may practice the movements much slower and with more concentration of mind.
