The best way I can describe him is something my grandmother used to say when she met people and had a good first impression. Eric Lindros is good people. God Bless him and his family.
yes he was always very friendly, polite and genuinely cared about the fans. He took the time to spend with us and performed for us, often to his own detriment. Happy to see him make peace with Flyers and be in their and the hockey hall of fame where he belongs.

Was there anyone that could change the momentum of a game in a shift or two quicker than Eric? A few thunderous hits, a goal and a fight and all on the same shift or two. I don't think I will ever see a single player capable of taking the wind out of the other team so quickly ever again. When Eric was playing, he was amazing. When he was playing with a mean on, he was terrifying.
If only we had some better goaltending when Big E was wreaking havoc on the ice. Could’ve had a Cup or two in my opinion. I miss watching him play so much. Glad he is in good standing with the organization and fans for the most part. He truly was one of the greatest ever and a shame we couldn’t win the Cup with him and the Legion of Doom line.

It's unfortunate Bobby Clarke & Eric Lindros had a big ass falling out with all the Hockey Dr's Concussions issues he had especially when Scott Stevens basically ended his career in the playoffs when my Flyers were up 3 games to 1 vs. Devs & still choked again in the championship playoff round in order to get to the Lord Stanley's Cup finals! Eventhough when he recovered, he wasn't the same after that when he went to Rangers, Maple Leafs & Stars, he had a mean streak when he changed his style of game, but unfortunately he didn't take us to the Stanley Cup Promised Land that he promised us Flyer fans when he was crying @ the ESPY's Award for best sportsmanship! Too fucking bad, it made me pissed-off, just like when they traded away Mike Richards & Jeff Carter!
Stevens ended his career as a Flyer. He still had some productive years with the Rags and the Leafs. He did take us to the Finals, but one guy doesn't make a team. Clarke didn't know how to build a winning team. C'mon, Hextall was letting in back-breaking goals from the parking lot. He was washed up. Aside of Dejardians, who did they have back on D? Mcgillis? Dykhuis? These guys were terrible. It's a team sports. The record shows Lindros did his part in making them a viable contender. Can't say that about the rest of them.

The fact that they got as far as they did speaks volumes for how good Lindros was.
