  • The American Express Green card is a BIG contender for the best entry-travel card in 2023, beating out the Amex Gold, Chase Sapphire Preferred, and even Amex Platinum in some areas!
With a major welcome bonus, unique travel credits, and surprisingly good multipliers, this card fills the gaps for those who don't have the more expensive, premium cards.

Depends on where you live. If you live in a city where you use a train or parking fees you can use it a lot. But if you live in a place with no transit options the platinum is better for the Uber credit . Just cancelled mine because I moved to Vegas for the time being. Even when I lived in Chicago I found it hard to fit this into my system of cards. On its own it’s good. But it overlaps with the gold and platinum in alot of ways.
