I was fortunate to play an impromptu set before him when he headlined a 2018 event in SF. The event promoter, who was scheduled to DJ before Stimming, couldn't be located. So, the talent manager, who also was a friend of mine said, "You have music?" Luckily, I actually had my USB and replied, "Uh, yeah. Why?" "Good, we need you to play." I was like, "Wait. Now?!?!" So, the growing crowd of about 400 people parted so I could get to the floor-level decks and started playing. It surprised all my friends, including the girl I was with who had never seen me DJ before. When I was done, Stimming and I shook hands, as the crowd clapped. I was glad so many of my friends were in attendance, otherwise it would've been a "you had to be there" story.
I am very happy for you, and I mean it. Where I come from this man is a living legend.
He canceled his Denver show on that tour.

Sure, but it's kind of easy to find nice locations in France. There are hundreds of castles, lighthouses, old buildings in general, and almost all the natural landscapes you can imagine.

@@lukaspictures Its open to public and you dont have to swim. When its low tide (water not here, you can come from the land nearby by foot) You can clearly see the path at 5min28 underwater
I saw him in Stuttgart in a club a few years back. The air was vibrating. It literally felt like SCUBA-diving in soundwaves. The way he "breaks" the rhythm is fantastic. Stimming is huge.

He's phenomenal, would always watch him when he played in South Africa.
Hands down my favourite producer over the past 8 years. He is a genius. He would come to South Africa for ztruths annual birthday party. His sets would start at 3am and end around 7am. It was mesmerising. It felt like every note was projecting towards us and entering our ears as if we were in a other realm. It was like dodging sound waves. A master. A magician. Got to meet him and he couldn't believe how big he was in South Africa. He's on another level. Bright Star and November Rain seared in our brains. Long live Martin Stimming 🎶
It's so weird to think that my fav tracks by him are from 11 years ago. chemistry and stormdrum. rest of his stuff is obviously awesome too but those tracks are so special for me. :D
Oh my god!... I've listened to Stimming's music for a long time (I don't know the exact number of years) but never saw him performing, not even on a video. I have to say it, he is on another level. He is showing us how to be in charge of synths & drum machines, and feel comfortable doing that... live!

To the fans below, yes! what an incredible production this is. The location ended up being way more unique than we realised back then. But stimming is the storyteller. I live in Cape Town, and my daughetr used her last money to go see him at a club that has function 1 speakers. It was so epic. The previous dj's said to me, "no stimming is good! very good. He always takes you on a journey". I had no idea who stimming was. Now I cant live without him. FYI if you watch the inetrview he was sort of saying he missed his audience and was a little nervous because of drones plus no crowd. He thought he rushed this set. Its actually one of his most superb releases.

There's something magical about that 2 and-a-half minute segment starting at 16:07:00. The drone footage, the vision mixing, the performer, the choir and the bass all is in unison. this is (by far) the best performance I have ever seen. Thank you Stimming, thank you Cercle. Keep it up.

Short story : 2009 I have been using "Paltalk" (Internet chat) for 2 years mainly for learning Scratching / Turntablism.
One evening I find myself in a "Room" of electronic music. A girl was mixing "Minimal" productions.
She was living in Germany for her studies, originally from Romania. So, that evening during his "Musical Set" I listen to an insane Track.
It was 🎼 "Stimming - Una Pena (ORIGINAL)". 🎼 She will end her Musical Set with 🎼 "The Kiss · Stimming". 🎼 Extraordinary, an unnamed pleasure. A few days later, auditory synapse orgasms with the album. 🦋 "Reflections" 🦋
I thank with all my heart - "LasMinimalistas" (on youtube) - for this musical revelation.

A blunt enables me to feel music so much better. A sound becomes like a living organism, sometimes as big as the universe. I'm sober now, so my description seems vague to me and probably is that.
