- Why did Stimming choose the harder path as a live act instead of a DJ? And why did things really take off for him when he decided to make it even tougher? What were his best and worst experiences during his gigs as a DAWless live act? You can find the answers to these and many other relevant questions in this interview with the experienced and seasoned live artist. We visited Stimming during the filming of the new 'DAWless Liveset' masterclass in his chosen hometown of Hamburg and left no question unanswered

Stimming will always be my friend, even though we never met.
Hope to meet him one day. You know this guy is awesome to hang out with
Always gives me exactly the same feeling ❤
Double keyboard in the background 🧐. Gr8 interview btw
LOL
Yes they do exist, humble artist. I always find "very talented artists turns out to be very humble towards others". Liked this interview ❤.
Yeah, the art is sufficient, they don’t need the bells and whistles.
"We are loving machines. We are a strange breed of people." ❤️❤️❤️
Nice! Stimming in bright daylight ;-) Looking forward to your concert at the beach stage @SB!!!
Stimming always shows more reasons why we've loved and respected him for so many years!
I have so much respect for Stimming, I always loved his emotional and deep style of music and still do today. I think the advice he gives at 16:58min mark is one of the best advices i have ever heard not only in music but in any business. I never heard anyone say that but it is so true.
BTW video is not edited properly towards the second part questions are not in order.
The worst thing is when the dance floor is empty. It really hurts. At one of the events, held in an old factory, the electricity went out and the visitors left for another stage. The start was delayed by twenty minutes while the problem was fixed. Over the next forty minutes, people came and listened to the music, but no one dared to go out onto the empty dance floor. People were embarrassed. I lost interest in music for a few months after that.
Wow😂
What an inspiration thanks for the music Stimming ❤
Your right, if u produce music u get enough of listening to music generally from it... That u don't want to, or find time enough afterwards to fill in time listening to other music as much. & if u do u may not make something of your own to have your own unique sound & way of producing.
My Shadow isn't even a particularly weird track, unless you're into Hed Kandi maybe
Is there a track list used in this video? Pls
Thank u for this
Groove masterclass stimming best content I have ever seen and I produce since 20 years
Where is this groove masterclass?
Thank you for such a candid conversation. I relate and feel affirmed by so many of the discussion points in this video. The ratio of performances and the family balance in particular ❤
Thise was awesome thank you ❤
Stimming’s music from years ago holds up so well
Hearing you share your thoughts gave me great confidnce to find a way forward in going DAWless
Great interview, he definitely has his own sound which is great 👍
Love this guy
Joooy, thanks for english language, still believe to get it on the second masterclass from Martin
"We are loving machines, strange breed of people" 😅
Hahah that Russia story is funny. I as a fan attended events where there was literally under 20 people, even under 10, and I felt bad for the artist even though what he’s playing is good, sometimes the party just fails (cause of other events at the same time).
Holy crap ! You look just like Oleksii Arestovych ! Man !!
The volume is low
The music industry complicates everything…no better place to find people making people believe you need things you don’t 😂 🤙🏽😎🖤
I disagree, digging for tracks to dj helps by developing your taste and gives you tons to take inspiration from
It's hard to make money being live musician
I disagree. Listening to other people's music will only help you develop and find a unique sound.
all this "bad case" stuff is screaming about why you actually have to choose the DJ side.. . People get drugs and want some fun.. Noone is interested about your personally produced intellectual stuff seemed wonderful for you only))
Screaming? Haha, okay…
