Very cool! Not sure I understand tip 2 though. You're using the clock off the black box as trigger for the dfam?

As far as I understand, the black box would (re-)trigger whatever step the dfam is at that moment. So at normal speeds you get occasional double triggers... Now I personally think it breaks the rhythm too much unless you find a way of having both sequencers run in sync at some reasonable ratio to each other.... But hey
