Does anyone else just think of their dad while watching this…These teams have made my childhood and teenage years pure bliss and being able to spend that with my father was an absolute blessing. Countless memories.
This hits different now that Pierce, Ortiz, Chara and Brady are all retired from their respective sports. We are truly blessed to have experienced all of their legendary careers. Boston will forever be my city
Anyone living in the New England area. We should all be thankful for our sports teams. Very few places have had the success across all sports as we have. So hopefully we all remember the good times and stay loyal to our teams in the hard times
Gives me chills and makes u wanna cry this is truly boston has one great to be a fan and part of mass and growing up outside of boston truly stay strong we fight together we die together
Paul Pierce, BIG PAPI, Zdeno Chara, and TB12......... WBZ Sports Director Steve Burton has to get all of them in a big room and do an interview with ALL OF THEM TOGETHER!!!!
I’m from Arlington Texas but my heart has ALWAYS lived in BOSTON I cried throughout this whole video! 😭 so many great memories!! Thank you so much for this
The end is coming but finally looking back and getting to appreciate the championships hit different. Sox look good as of now and bruins got another solid shot. Let’s go Boston stay strong
I'm sitting here in 2023 actually in tears realizing I got to grow up watching all of this unfold. And we're about to add another title to that list for sure. The Bruins are on league record pace in wins this season and it looks like no one can really stop them. GO BOSTON!
I’ll be honest I’m only a hockey guy, always have been. That Stanley Cup run was brutal magic. I’ve never watched a full C’s game, I’ve never watched a Sox game, but the only football game I’ve ever watched was the 28-3 super bowl game.
@@WhatstheWordBros maybe it's just me, but I don't really see such professional editing on Instagram / CZcams among companies or people with your kind of size or "popularity."
IMO, this has been a 20 year dynasty. And it began and ended with Tom Brady (or maybe began with Tom Brady and ended with Zdeno Chara). When Brady took over as the starter, the Patriots won 2 Super Bowls before the Red Sox finally ended their own curse. By 2008, the Patriots had a near-perfect season and didn't have to carry Boston because both the Red Sox and Celtics were now defending champions in their own sports. And the Bruins won their division too, lol. When the Bruins finally won the Cup in 2011, the Pats again had a Super Bowl appearance and the city wasn't as upset with the Red Sox choking a playoff spot on the last day of the season or the Celtics being a year removed from choking a championship. Then the Pats add even more championships while also making the AFC Championship Game 8 years in a row and come within a score of being the first ever football team to win 3 Super Bowls in a row. And when Tom Brady leaves right after the Bruins choked a championship away on their own home ice, Tuuka opts out the next season and the team underperforms in the playoffs. And now that Chara is gone, Toronto finally leapfrogs their longtime eliminator. But who is still winning championships 20 years later in a new city? Tom Brady. Boston was a baseball town for decades where the Red Sox always dominated the sports headlines no matter if they were good or sucked. But since the Red Sox finally ended their curse around the time Tom Brady came to town, they're not always the biggest draw in Boston. Brady pretty much built the foundation of confidence that all Boston sports teams came to enjoy. And this is coming from a Jets fan, lol.
Duhh it’s the greatest decade everything is 4k now not on tapes 😂 They didn’t have highlights back then n If they did they where blury imagine havin Jackie Robinson in 4k or wilt chamberlain 🤷🏽♂️ js

Celtics should have had atleast 2,3 titles that 2010 loss in the finals was gut renching.
Growing up I saw every Boston Pro team win it all before I even turned 18

That beat drop ok butlers interception was perfect
No matter if we don't win the championship we show people that we are strong in Boston. That's just my thought.

Don’t be sad that it’s over, be happy that it happened.
The only thing that would’ve made this better was at the end you faintly here,” ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE “- Kevin G
