John could be seen as insulting and intolerant if you don't know his personality. Listening to his sermons- you quickly get to know that he calls a spade a spade. This guy is sugar free.

I agree! I too was stanch Mormon. Raised in Central SLC by a Mormon pioneer stock family. All my relatives were strong members. Some of our friends who we went to school with were children of general authorities. We were deeply indoctrinated. My family were kind and generous. They were helpful and active in community service l loved them dearly. However, I saw conflicts in the doctrine . My questions were not appreciated by teachers and leaders. My faith questions we're turned back on me as if l was defective. 😒 This is cult system behavior. I had to study deeply Lt took many years of great searching and prayer, study and determination to find the truth. The Bible is the Word of God. Jesus is the Truth Life and Way. Joseph Smith lied. I love Pastor MacArthur. I do have Mormon friends, whom I love. Pastor MacArthur pulls no punches. He is straight up truthful. I could only try, and no doubt fail, to be as truthful as he is, even when it’s not “comfortable.”

I am only one minute and twenty-four seconds in, on this video, and if these facts that John MacArthur speaks of are true of mormons, I am shocked and at a loss for words.. Some of my own family are involved with mormonism and now it makes sense to me why my brother-in-law asked me what i thought about if it were true, if when we die we each will have our own planet and then he went on about some other things. It relieves me to know that I am following the true doctrine of Christ and not mormon.

My brother and his family are Mormon. He told me he and the "church" he goes to use the KJV Bible and he believes every word of it yet he believes the teachings of false prophet Joseph Smith and the live false prophets after him teaching that Joseph Smith taught.

People often choose a path that they believe absolves them of any personal responsibility as to their own actions. I am only one minute and twenty-four seconds in, on this video, and if these facts that John MacArthur speaks of are true of mormons, I am shocked and at a loss for words.. Some of my own family are involved with mormonism and now it makes sense to me why my brother-in-law asked me what i thought about if it were true, if when we die we each will have our own planet and then he went on about some other things. It relieves me to know that I am following the true doctrine of Christ and not mormon.

My brother in law is LDS and I have spent hours talking to him and 7 different elders and studying their written works, Pearl of Great Price, Doctrine and Covenants and the Book of Mormon. John warned in the Book of Revelation that no man should add to or take from the book of his prophecy, which was the Book of Revelation.
