Thank you, I got it back before D2R released, unfortunately this one doesnt seem to be available anymore, however, if you go to the Blizzard website, their shop has a hoodie that says "Diablo II" with the dark wanderer behind it made with D2R graphics. Thats the closest hoodie to the one Im wearing, and I still might pick it up!

I haven’t played PD2 yet, I’ve wanted to especially with how unique corrupting items can make builds become with no two items ever being the same. However, because so much of my content is consumed by D2R, and I want to play other and different games instead of just one game or franchise, PD2 is on the back burner for now. I love D2R and PD2 looks like a lot of fun, but I don’t want to burn out on consuming too similar the same games all at once.

Oh, the pain at the end of the video. I stopped to marvel at the god stats and immediately had a bad feeling as I unpaused.
I haven't done something quite as painful but I have been following the mantra before the d2r days of backup your saves EVERY time you exit the game. Moreover, whenever you are bored, backup your saves. Also I have two back up save folders, so that I have older backup saves and current backup saves, if I mess up the backing up.
Not completely full proof but the second backup save folder actually saved several mid level ups on a character.
It hurt a lot honestly...but also, unlike how D4 shows you what time you're playing at IRL on the screen, I ended up imbuing that Pelt really early in the morning. I dedicated my afternoon and evening to trying to get all the game clips for both videos, at least getting the imbues done and find all the different color pelts, but I kept having one color evade me. Eventually I went well passed what I wanted for getting the clips, but I got greedy for the missing color, but then rolled that pelt and was stunned...
And because I got a quick second wind of energy, I made the mistake of accidentally saving over the current save file. I wish I had more time to make videos, and the ending clip is an example of why, that way I dont feel rushed (my own doing) to get things done and use my time more sparingly.
Thankfully I have hero editor so I can remake that pelt, unfortunately ill probably lose that color on the pelt, but I can still have it regardless. But my pain is all of your enjoyment, so it's still a win in my book.
@@switch209gaming No, no enjoyment was had when I read about it. I used to be a collector with the plugy in the old d2lod and still have hundreds of pages of many different self found items, runes and gems. I still remember selling my first, and to this day, only Trang-Oul's Wing by accident.
I need to find a way to transfer all that stuff to d2r. I transfered my characters but am too lazy to make a necro called page 147, full of perfect rubies or whatever, after a druid called page 146 ...
@@Marin_Huron I use to play Plugy as well, still occasionally do for nostalgia and just to keep collecting for holy grails. It’s fun and I actually love the graphics, D2R updates them, but I will always love vanilla D2LoD graphics.

It’s important to remember it cannot transfer all pages in a stash, just the one active, and I give examples in the video on how to know which is correctly transferred.

I think I know the basics and how to do it. That is why I will name the characters as the name of the pages.
I liked the old graphics, too, but I appreciate the full screen of pixels and the updated graphics are, in spirit, very close to the originals.
It is sad not having the unlimited stash space from plugy but a folder of word docs keeps track of grailing and a mule of runes can trade for any non god item you might want.
Still, for a self found main, myself, I only trade for items for my endgame gear, while every tradable item I find gets sold for said gear if it is not saved for lvling purposes. I also do not allow for item sharing, which makes everything much more expensive. Thank god there are other games and work.

Nice I was wondering about odds on this stuff. But is there a better use of(value) imbue as there is RW for 5 nado helm's or is it harder to find a white 3 soc 3 nado helm ?
End game Necro shields seam to be the hardest to get in the game and they have a bad sell value. other than the a few unique that are ok but not gg end game.
If you find a 3 nado base with 3os, I believe the runeword you’d use to make it 5 nado would be Dilirium, otherwise I think that’s the fullest extent of runewords to possibly make 5 nado and you have to either drop a rare pelt, imbue, or reroll. Reroll video and all the info you’d need to know about that method is next week!

@@frankenstein3163 you’re welcome, glad I could help. I actually found a decent pelt base when farming Mephisto, make sure to hit the armor rack on the left side, and you usually can get decent bases from it. Good luck!
Must have missed it .... but how did you do so many imbues ?? There is only one quest per difficulty .. right?
And using the Dream Spirit in a norm game .. can it get the same stats when done with a 87+ carc ?
I hero edited the character, then copy/pasted the files to be able to make this video. I wish I could legit get all imbue quests completed instead, but with limited time, I had to do what was most reasonable, especially for just demonstration purposes.
No matter the difficulty, all that matters is the Clvl used to imbue the item. So if you have a character in normal with Clvl 87+, you're good to go. I better explain it at 4:35 for the bases to use and why, but also at 1:46 I discuss the basics with Imbuing.

A black Pelt? im not sure about that one, but a Green Pelt would be +2 to druid skills as the dominate stat.
If you check the timestamp in the video description, I do go over the different colors the pelts can change to, depending on what rolls. Unfortunately im not sure what would change it to black, that or I forgot since I made this video months ago. Sorry I couldnt be more of a help than that.
It should be the same stat that would make any item black. The cruel suffix, +300% EDam, is one that does it. Obviously it cannot happen on armour and I do not recall seeng black armours but just go shopping in Hell for several minutes and check for yourself. Nothing made it black on the maxroll site, which is mostly correct for these things.
@@Marin_Huron I went over the EDef color change, but from what I found, I couldnt find anything about a black pelt, regardless of the stat. and because EDam cant roll on pelts, then there's no black pelts unless the game weirdly glitches or something that I cannot explain has happened. If they do turn black, id be curious to know what stat did that, otherwise, I do know EDam cant roll on pelts.
@@switch209gaming Yes but it needs to be the cruel prefix of +201% to +300% EDam for a weapon to turn black. Obviously impossible for any armour. 4x40=160 for body and 30+2x40=110 for diadems is the highest I can think of using sockets and jewells. I don't think that it would work anyway as there is no cruel prefix for armour.
Funny enough, maxroll shows that the cruel prefix colour is easily woverwritten but I would not take it as the complete thruth because I have seen it mess up the colours of rare weapons and armours I have copied to the site before.
My confusion stems from asking what stats make the pelts black. I know cruel mod turns weapons black, however I thought you were trying to mention a different stat turns it black, but nothing else does. So I was confused why you asked what could turn it black if no other stat besides cruel mod turns it black, however they do turn green from druid skills mod.

I only play SP so I wouldn’t be able to sell it or trade. But a lot of people mentioned 5 figures of actual IRL money.
im sure you went over it but is it possible to roll 2 to druid skill 2 to elemental and 3 to nado? cause all i ever hear is people say 5 nado so i assume they cant all roll together at once?
Unfortunately you cannot roll + Druid skills while also rolling + to a skill tree (elemental/shape shifting/summoning). You can either roll to one skill tree, but preferably to Druid skills so it affects all 3 skill trees.
When people reference 5 nado, it’s either +2 elemental skills (preferably Druid skills), with +3 tornado.
I said "unfortunately" because ive seen some players who didnt know that + to class skills is within the same roll stat as + to a skill tree. Just as with caster amulets, some maybe didnt know that you can either roll to a class or skill tree, but you cannot roll them together since they count for the same roll opportunity.
Pelts are not worth it but diadems are. You can roll GG diadems at lvl 1. Get good running straight to the imbue quest. Might take 15 minutes every time you want to roll a diadem

So your level 10 mule can’t really get a gg role like the last clip if you find an elite base on your main?
No, but it's not about which character found the base, it's about who does the imbuing and what their clvl is.

It does, but you still get one chance to get another 5 nado, it unfortunately has a far less chance to do so, and with less additional stats added to it, but it can still happen.

Ill go over all the info with rerolling the pelts before actually rerolling them. Same format as this video, that way you get everything you need to know beforehand, then can see for yourself if it's worth it to you to try rerolling them.

Haha I know, I fumbled with that one…it hurt to realize it was gone.
But thankfully play offline, so I can hero edit another one if I wanted to use it. But by far one of the greatest rolls I’ve ever had, if not the best of any item in over 20yrs playing D2.

I hero edited a character with an open imbue quest and copy/saved the files 50 times to make this video. There’s a disclaimer at the beginning of the video explaining it, as this video was just to demonstrate what could be expected from imbuing numerous times and the odds of something good rolling.

my guy.... "any base of ilvl 50 or higher can get this roll (alvl50)". thats not how it works, you need to know the items quality level with ilvl and use the corresponding affix calculation to know its affix level. what you just said isn't true for any of the items between qlvl 2-74 lol. midrange qlvl items dont even hit alvl 50 until around ilvl 75

imbue are not worth the time
To do so with the expectation of the final roll shown in the video, I 100% agree as that was a once in a lifetime item to get, however, for those wanting 5 Nado pelts, imbues give much better odds over getting lucky with one dropping when farming. It just depends on the players expectations overall with time management and their goal within the game.
