@marksaunders1823 To put it simply, they ran two channels, football daily and euro football daily. This meant daily uploads, sometimes several uploads per day. Additionally they had much more staff, they had at least 8 hosts full time, probably 10-15 when including the 'part timers'. So more frequent and probably more quality conten. I still watch them now but it is true that they aren't the same anymore.

They need/want a fresh start. Start at the top
As a non Chelsea fan I can’t believe they sacked Poch. Their form in the later part of the season was very good and looked like he found a team he would play with. If they gave Poch a LB, experienced CB, experienced midfielder and a top striker he’d be competing for 3rd next season. Not having Nkunku, James or Chilwell all season has been a huge hindrance to him
Poch has smashed chelseas record for goals conceded in a premier league season ever. And the form didn't really improve at the end of the season, chelsea just got some luck they didn't get earlier in the season. Chelsea didn't deserver to beat forrest or bournemouth at the end of the season.

Gallagher reminds me of Mctominay at United, inconsistent, but always gives his all and will do anything to help the club succeed. Neither are good enough to be starters but both are almost ideal bench options for a title winning team
Gallagher is so much better, its not even close. But Gallaghers technical limitations might mean, that he can never find a role in a top team.

I think If Arsenal want to take the next step they have to go all out for Isak, FDJ, and Hato/Lukeba. This is the time to strike with pep in his least year.
Absolutely love Dougie and McCubbin but it's just so tough to watch how clearly tiring it is running the entire channel, on top of other responsibilities. The channel clearly had a larger roster for a reason.

They barnstormed the Championship with their free-flow, almost Man City-esque style, but then he didn't improve the squad and adapt his style. That style of play suits a dominant style of play which Burnley couldn't manage, but I think Bayern will.
I’m not convinced Liverpool will sign a DM which would be a mistake, as much as I like Endo you aren’t winning the league or champions league with him. But I think the biggest mistake they could make is not sorting out the contract situation for Van Dijk, Trent & Salah. The longer that goes on the more uncertainty there is & the likelihood that they leave on a free increases which can’t happen.

Wildly overestimating how well poch is tactically, we’ve been watching him all season, we all screamed for an inverted left back and he insisted on playing a centre half at left back and a left back at left wing
From the quotes 'we would look to sign another left back regardless of what happens to Shaw and Malacia'. It looks like man utd playing a 3-5-2 next season if he stays.
Even Kovač won the cup, supercup and reached the EL semifinal with Eintracht before being appointed by Bayern, going with Kompany is mad
Life long chelsea fan, from a family of chelsea fans, been in the academy since he was 7 or 8. The last thing Conor Gallagher wants to do is join spurs. It’s very harsh on him. I hope he goes Newcastle instead. He would fit their hard hitting, intense pressing team well
Liverpool need to figure out the DM position for sure. I like the idea of Ugarte (seems a real destroyer and just loves his job), though imo there are plenty of options throughout Europe. They also need another CB for sure but also to figure out what Trent is going to do next season (will he be in CM, or will he leave (has a year left on his contract)). I like the idea of Geertruida from Feyenoord. Young, adaptable, and their captain so automatically has some good leadership capabilities. Could also see a forward (Bakayoko always linked), plus I love the idea of Nico Williams or Kudus. Don’t need anymore than 3 signings, but could also see a 2nd choice GK coming in depending on if Kelleher leaves 🧤
Ugarte isnt a good passer...probably one reason we didnt go for him imho. Palinha is outside the Edwards profile age range. Geertruida is basically a Gomez clone. Think we need to see what Slot sees in the young players - Morton - DM; Sepp Van DenBerg - CB. Both have done well on loan. A backup forward behind Nunez. A winger who contributes more from outwide probably high up the list considering Slot likes having genuine wingers
@@nigl2807 Ugarte is a pretty good passer. 92% completion he just doesn't do a lot of forward passes, which he has to improve.
for liverpool the question isn’t over dm it’s about the centre backs. Endo is great he’s probably just outside that world class category, 2 of ur arguments were he’s not been a 7/10 every week which is false he has been then the other one was that he had a slow start, he barely played a minute until mac allister got injured in november i think it was and as soon as he came in he made the position his own. Going into next season we’ll have him and bajcetic who will be fit next season after a write off year due to growing pains. If there was a top dm out there maybe we’d go for it but there’s no one who’s at a level higher than endo right now on the market other than maybe palhinha who will cost alot with a bad age

@@jrb614 be honest, have u watched every liverpool game? there’s been maybe 2/3 games he’s played all season where he’s looked below a 7/10, he kept kdb and odegaard quiet as anyone has when’s he’s played them this season. If you’ve watched 5-10 liverpool games maybe u happened to watch a couple where he wasn’t great but over the season as a whole he’s been great. Like i said he’s not rodri or rice level cus they stop almost every single attack and contribute to more goals but he’s just outside that bracket

yes he did, alonso got relegated prior to going to leverkusen as well as klopp who got mainz relegated prior to rebuilding dortmund and Liverpool and winning titles with them... this argument about kompany getting relegated is so bad because that doesn't mean that he can still become a great manager. btw the bayern sporting director who worked as the gladbach sporting director previously wanted to bring alonso to gladbach when he was still in spain because he saw his potential even when he got relegated. I trust our sporting director, Kompany will need time but he will be a good manager.
My choice is either Morten Frendrup, Ederson of Atalanta or Mats Wieffer.

34:40 Laliga salary cap can change depending on circumstances! Last Jan Laliga said Barcelona's salary cap is about 207M which is at least almost 200M above the club's salary cap! But every year in Jun Laliga reviews numbers and tells the clubs how much they can spend in the summer! The club believes we will be back to 1:1 this summer and the salary cap will go up to 530M. It is not true that Barca must sell many players to match the 174M salary cap. There will be departures to make funds for new signings.

Saying Gallagher would rather got to Spurs is a horrendous shout 😂 Chelsea got to a final and we’re in contention for another. He has a much higher chance of winning trophies with Chelsea, despite how messy the club is. The fans also love him. Tottenham aren’t winning anything anytime soon, so why would he want to go there?
With the poch situation it all comes down to transfers and Gallagher is the perfect example. The board want a patient possession style that suits the squad and the signings they have and continue to make and poch wants to play fast, hard pressing transitional football. Gallagher doesn’t suit what the board want (plus he’s pure profit) but suits poch 100%.
At the end of the day you can see why they all agreed to move on but it’s all on the board and sporting directors. Why hire a coach who players a completely different style to the one you want to play?????
