I agree that dancers aren't as respected as other athletes. Every night I spend at least 20 minutes watching football, baseball, hockey, basketball players after the evening news--and not one dancer! For all that repetitious sports news--wouldn't it be nice to see some dancers. Our Mayor--Rahm Emanuel was once a ballet dancer. Isn't that fantastic? Do you think he would dare try to change the pattern on TV to have some dancers leaping across the screen during the sports section of the news?
