- In this video we show you how to change the glow plugs in a Ford F250 7.3 Powerstroke. This is the same procedure in the F350 and pretty much anything with the 7.3
- Krátké a kreslené filmy
Using the clear tubing to remove and install the glow plugs instead of a 60-80$ special tool from the dealership is genius
Works well on spark plugs in gas motors also.
Have boney fingers and you can get it too 🤣🤣
you wont cross thread either
Nice job. I love when the intro isn't filled with a long drawn out story. I've seen some where they have the kids involved and talk about the dog etc. just go to the job and show it! This helps me a lot!
that true ... cheers ..
Yea
Lol I think I know exactly what you’re talking about. Like no one gives a shit about your lawnmower we came here for cars!😂
How bout it!!!
I think I know the video your talking about I don't even watch it if it starts out that way
Best glow plug video on CZcams. Short and to the point. Thanks for the help
Woke up at 4 a.m in a 13° morning to find out I was gonna be late for work, for the same exact reason you had. Can't afford a mechanic so watching this helped me. So thanks man!
This channel is severely underrated. 10/10 video + sub
My dads 2001 F350 Super Duty 7.3 PowerStroke has 585k+ miles on it he loves it and it finally went out on him and he sold it a couple years back Ive been working on something similar for a friend and wish we saw videos like this because you were super helpful
The hose trick was brilliant! Never heard of that before! There is now a piece of hose in my tool box. Great video by the way, straight to the point and no small talk, appreciated.
Glad I was able to help!
What size hose or what type?
@@adsanti130 Removed mine the same way years ago. Believe it was 3/8
Nice jacket bro. The intimidator lives on with his son and in our hearts.
I couldn’t see the difference between the old slip gears and the new ones holding up to the sun. But now my truck starts nicely in the cold. Before it needed a couple of hours plugged in with block heater. I’m in Manitoba so this is serious. I’m very happy that this $150 part worked. Don’t strip your sae bolts with the impact on the installation like I did. Not a big deal.
Great job. I did this about 15 years ago and your video was a great fresher. Quick and to the point.
About to dive into my excursion and was going to do a video but i will recommend this one instead. Short and to the point! Perfect! Thanks man!
You definitely helped someone. Employee of our small family buisness, two 7.3l's. Defiently need to change glowplugs for snow removal. Thank you. Safe day.
This video helped me do mine. Took 4 hours start to finish and you helped a lot. Passenger side was tough due to it being cramped but thanks for the video and help!
Glad I was able to help!
Yes I have to do that passenger side next. Incredibly cramped. I sure hope it can be done without removing more. It has to be.
FINALLY ;; GREAT VIDEO AND YOU DON'T WASTE THE TIME IN HISTORIES ABOUT YOU WHEN YOU WAS IN THE MID SCHOOL , YOUR'S DREAMS IN THE DIESEL TRUCKS AND GIRLS ... AND A LOT THINGS ................ CHEERS .
Clicked onto this vidja from another one twice as long, where the guy wasn't done talking about his company for the first half of the vid. Thank you thank you for a quick simple fix!
Very informative and good work. Glad you posted this as I am fixing to tackle the same job and watching someone do it first is a great help. 👍
Nice simple and straightforward video, my 7.3 is my first diesel and this video makes me super confident in doing this myself
Great video. Followed it before I did mine. It's all done now and appears to be working, will find out more when it gets colder.
Them back bolts on the valve covers were a real pia but got them out.
I did replace new gaskets as well.
Thanks for everything!
Very nice job on describing what to do and how to do it. It is going to help a lot, every other video on CZcams does not describe the job very well.
Thanks! Great video. My glow plugs have sucked for a while. Thanks to this guide, I'll get er done before winter comes again.
Great video. No nonsense. I have got to change mine out. Check engine light is on. My programmer is showing #7 is bad. I was dreading doing it, but your video explains the process well.
who needs magnetic tools?
improvisation at its finest
Yep you helped me, Thanks! My hats off to you young sir and in the snow on the street! A real mechanic!
So nice to watch an informative video that's directly to the point without a bunch of narcissistic babbling. Thank you!
Finally a simple walk through very good job I didn't know it was this easy
My kind of video, straight and to the point, no b.s.! Awesome
My truck just turned 316,000 miles. Time to change em out. Great video! Thank you.
Great video. Thanks for being straight forward and easy to follow
Thanks for the video. I've watched several and this one is the best so far.
Great job on a very short and direct instructive video! Thanks.
Great video. I used this video to change my glow plugs twice! Unfortunately for me I used some off brand of glow plugs the first time and they didn't last. Stay with Motocraft!
great vedeo mate my 7.3D have 360.000kms! and I never changed but now when the temperature is low is very hard to starting!! probably needs changed! cheers from Norway great vedeo fellas
I tried doing it with out the tube... Just do it with the tube so much faster. Thanks dude for quick video.
Thanks for the video. Always like to watch it done, before I start a project, this was nice
Thanks for the tube trick for the glow plugs, that will save time and a lot of cussing!
mike visser Lmaoo😂 I feel this one a spiritual level😂😂😂
Good video. I shouldn't have any problem, I always do everything backward to start with. The glowplugs on the old 6.9 were way easier to get to.
Thank you bro you're the best keep it coming God bless have a Happy Thanksgiving
Thanks for posting the video. Looks like I may be doing this in the next couple of weeks myself.
Felt like a like a Joh Hughes mechanic instructional video. Great job
Thanks brother! really helpful just bought my first diesel vehicle and its identical to yours 🙏
Nicely done. Straight to the point. Good job.
Nice job brother. I will watch it 5-6 times at 1.5 speed and then get this job done.
Very nice. To the point. Well edited. That’s gonna hell a bunch.
thank you so much amigo.about time i see a video that goes to the point.thumbs up big time..
Nice video man! Thanks for getting straight to the point and saving me $$$!
Great work 💯 thanks a lot for your knowledge, technique and time💪 this is a great video!! Be blessed💯
Short and to the point. Awesome video
Thank you. Impressive doing it outside in the cold. I was hoping for info on the passenger side, where the ac compressor seems to be in the way.
Nice video, thanks for sharing the information, I expect it to be a huge help!
Thanks for keeping it simple and not clouding it up with music and stupid opinions.
Perfect, helped me a lot, one question, I see a lot of gasket kits come with a plug and wires to be hard wired. Did you replace the outside plug, or hard wire a new one?
Well got the drivers side done, the tube trick was great, on to the passenger side along with a Wicked Wheel 2 install at the very end.
What size tube or what type?
Keep your 7.3 as long as you can afford to. It's that last engine Ford made that was bullet proof and reliable to 1 million miles. The rest of the truck would die before the engine ever will.
I sold this truck to a buddy shortly after this video. It was a great truck. Now I have a 5.9 common rail Cummins. I love that Cummins. I do miss the 7.3 sometimes.
Yes sir! Doing that! Found an 02 F250 a few years back, had ~ 240K miles. Has ~305K now, had to replace high pressure pump, radiator, water pump, oil cooler, intercooler couplings, etc, & wondering now when the glow plugs or tranny go out, haha, but I use her everyday for work. Also threw on a DP Tuner chip. Wish I could afford some exhaust action, but truck pulls soooo much better with that DP chip.
Great motor. Ford didn’t build it though.
Amen on that!
Nice job!! Sir, you are talented - thank you
CZcams needs more of this....thanks bud
Please make more videos! Thanks for the good editing.
This video was very helpful thank you and the clear tube awesome idea
Great video. You should test with a meter if any of the glow plugs work or not first. I have two that seemed dead and I heard that if even one doesn’t it can cause it. Bill has a Powerstroke video on lower oil pump which would be the next stage step if this doesn’t fix it. That’s a little bigger more expensive job, but doable.
Great video , I'm headed outside to do mine now ....thanks buddy !
Informative video. thanks for posting it.
Im getting hard start when its 50+_ degrees out, I replaced the controller, no luck. Guess I'm going to bring it to the mechanic.
very good job
Great job on your video extremely informative 👏. Thank you
Straight to the point. Nice vid.
Great video.. but always disconnect your batteries when working on your engine.. keep up the great work!
Thanks man. Good video, very helpful.
Great video... straight to the point...
Awesome and straight forward thanks
Lol "obviously someone else has been in here before "
Haha I'll say
Thanks bro, great job keep up the hard work God bless
Surely helped me. It sounded like a very involved job. But the video was straight to the point.
Glad I was able to help. This in my opinion is a job that people could actually do, but they spend way too much money to have a shop do it.
@@TDKRepair exactly. Cant thabk you enough👍🏼
Nice video, thanks. Sucks working outside in MN winter. Lol
Well done. Good refresher.
You definitely helped me Pal. Thanks.

@@pedropunjabi7339 exactly. Takes 5 seconds on google to figure it out
Awesome video. Thanks so much.

Awsome definitely helped me!
Amazing Vid man thanks!

What was the trick to putting the glow plug back on from the wiring harness. I'm struggling because the plug doesn't want to line up and wont snap on the glow plug. Thanks for the help. Jason Eads
