The suit design feels all over the place in G-Witch to be honest
But in terms of the lore it makes sense. From what I can tell, it’s different organizations making these mobile suits, so of course they have very different designs.
@@TheMrSwampert i mean they all look more like they just took a bunch of diffrent gundam style from other shows and remade them for this show
LMAO, it's because they're made by different companies in lore. IRL they're designed by different designers.
4 different designers for the show and 4 different corporations designing them within the show.
I haven't been watching Gundam for very long, just over a year. I started doing Gunpla almost exactly a year ago. When I did, I only bought kits from shows I watched. Eventually I started buying Gunpla just because of how it looked whether I watched the show or not. Right now, all I build are RG kits, and I've never seen some of the shows they're from.
well the MS from G-Witch are designed by different mechanical designers categorized by faction which is why they look and different from each group as an inside joke by the anime production team.

Rather agree with the opinion on the Cucuruz Doan's Island movie: it was okay and competently made, but it definitely NEEDS to be watched as part of a Mobile Suit Gundam (0079) series watchalong, or a hypothetical Gundam The Origin TV series, because it definitely feels like an overly long episode of the original series rather than a standalone movie. Obviously the premise of the movie is lifted off an episode of the TV series, but the direction of the movie itself is what lends it a "TV series episode" feel, which would otherwise be fine except that it has too much filler for its runtime. It's a movie that definitely could've benefited more from having a tighter, more condensed direction to trim the fat in order to fit all the ideas they wanted to have for the movie in the time they had.
The barbatos lupus and kimarris vidar were the two IBO kits that stuck with me, the lupus is largely bc of playing it in games since then but i also just liked the idea and how adaptable it was and how many option parts could go on it, theres also the astaroth R wasnt in the anime but i just loved its asymmetrical design and the giant folding buster sword it wields with the stake launcher. IBO definitely had some cool designs and its nice to still be seeing some new kits trickling down from urdr hunt
While screen time definitely helps me come to like a suit design more over time, it only really works when I'm on the fence for the design in the first place. Most of IBOs later designs were pretty cool, and even suits like the grimgerde, the helmwige reincar, vidar, kimaris trooper, kimaris vidar that didn't get a ton of screentime were cool enough designs for me to want in the first place.
No amount of screentime is gonna get me to buy the G-Self lmao.
Just don't idea out there for animes like Gundam Bill fighters try what if you take that concept and throw in 30 minute missions model kits into the mix. for example, for The latest issue of Gundam Bill fighters the last few episodes they had technically a giant war to not do that again, just bring in the 30 minute missions and make it seem like someone made a giant Gundam war. they can sell 30 minute missions and then add a new mobile suit to the mix.
