This channel shows how i fix and repair my family and friends cars. I show mostly import cars like Honda's and Toyota's. But I also show repairs on Domestic and European cars. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
I show this video to my son. Told him everytime the sounds goes mute is Angel showing his appreciation to the engineer. The cuss jar overflow on this one 🤣.
You got that right!!👍
LOL
@@FixItAngel only real techs cuz lol
Same my experience Lol 😆 🤣😄🤣
I appreciate the look inside the back. I’m planing to do these this weekend as well as the valve cover gaskets. Nice work
Brother, I feel ya. I went through the same crap. I got so disgusted, I removed the alternator, coil pack and bracket. Oh what a relief it was. Keep'em coming. God bless
Lol yes
My visors are completely gone
I have the same car, and I have to do this soon, thank you Angel! Your vids always are entertaining and this one is even helpful!
Thanks for such a clear and precise picture! Right where you are having trouble with that #1 plug boot is where I found my sensor hookup, last one left over from my intake manifold gasket install! Thanks so much.
You’re the best car content on CZcams. Period. Thank you
thank you for watching brother
Thank you vey much for this video this car is so difficult to work on but your videos give me the confidence to tackle this project thank you!
Gotta love those rear plugs and wires on FWD V6’s. Great job.
Right on Angle! Right after watching this video I went out and changed my rear plugs (03 malibu) yes it was a bit troublesome. I rotated the plug boot left/right and that broke the tention as they popped right off.
You are the fix it angel ❤️ thank you for bringing the power back to the people
You are wonderful, engineer. It was very difficult to remove the coils, but you are excellent and do your job to the fullest. I wish you success and lasting success
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼✅✅✅👑👑👑🏆🏆🏆💛💛💛
Very professional your a great mechanic !!!!
That was a good reliable car. After replacing the defective factory GM intake manifold gaskets that 3.1l engine was a reliable pushrod /timing chain engine.
I had the same problem with one and 3. 1 I grabbed with channel locks and rolled the channel locks towards the fire wall made it 5xs easier. Was still a major B***h
Your videos are awesome my Brother!!
Nice work and good luck 👍
Very honest, hilarious, I've done this ,I am doing it again and not looking forward to future doings it :)
Great job! entertaining.
Good old power of Greyskull lol. Thank you for sharing because I get to do this soon but also am changing out the coil pack so I’ll do the plugs after removing the coil lol.
I had a 1998 Chevy Malibu with that issue. I tied a rope around the boot and used pulley action on it . Made sure I put some Vaseline on it for the next guy . I feel your struggles dude.
I subscribed hoping for more Malibu videos. I'll keep a lookout in the future!
Awesome Video as always. Careful ordering plug from amazon. Myself and a few others got some fake ones in the mail and nearly destroyed our engines.
thank you for watching. Oh really??!! thanks for telling me. appreciate it brother
There is never bs with you bro!
thank you for watching brother
nice work man more patience than i got 🤣🤣🤣🙋♂️
Hi kuya angel its eric from ny I enjoyed this video take care god bless salamaat po
Thank you for the insights and show how not to over torque🤙

Good video 👍👍
Hard but you made it , good job!
Gotta love those spark plugs sitting by the firewall smh, Good content brother, Stay hydrated that sun will beat you down ✌
I've done several of those in different makes. Buick, Olds, Pontiac. It's a little more work, but I take the alternator off, and can slip my hand behind head. Definitely not one to work on unless engine is cool. Thanks for your videos.
hi Robert, maybe next time i will try that. thank you for sharing
@@FixItAngel not a problem my friend. I've been wrenching on cars at least 40 years now. I look at your videos and still learn from them. Keep up the good work.
@@robertsimmons9402 it’s amazing you have that much years of experience. I’m delighted you still learning from my videos. Thank you for watching. Have a nice day.
Good work
WOW!!! That was a BEAST to get off!!!!!
Show de bola cara. Valeu pelo video parabens!!!!!!
obrigado por assistir irmão
God bless you 🙂
What I’ve done before is to wrap a tie wrap around the boot with a much longer tie wrap looped under the tie wrap around the boot. Use the long tie wrap loop and a pry bar to pull up on the boot. Works every time.
thank you for the tip Kenneth. I will try that next time.
Same damn thing happened to me on the back middle plug boot. But made room for the boot puller to get it out. A true pain the butt!
Buen video.
"By the Power of Grayskull" = epic!
When I do this tomorrow I'm s definitely gonna say "By the Power of GreySkull I will Remove you!" cause it worked 🤣🤣🤣
I removed alternator darn boots stuck royally! I feel your pain
I have found a good way for me to remove that stuck plug boot. These boots become baked
onto the plug. Get a suitable size worm gear type hose clamp. Put it tightly all the way down
to the boots end where it is right next to engine block. Now tighten it up securely. Now do
this . Pull up on hose clamp, even twisting it back and forth. You are separating it away from
being baked into plug. Do not give up. It will now separate from plug. Works every time for me.😊9
I share your pain. I ran into a similar situation with a broken spark wire underneath intake manifold on a Camry V6. After a week I found a socket with longer neck space to pull the spark plug out.
Hi Gary, thanks for watching. you gotta do whatcha gotta do to get it done. good job brother.
If that headbolt could talk lol “what you doing bro? Spark plug is over there”
LOL

Angel this is a funny video. I laughed my butt off. I would get me the really long pliers with 90 degree jaws and use a mirror to pull the wires out.
lol i will try that next time. thank you for watching
My father had an Oldsmobile Cutlass Cierra with that engine. I remember the back spark plugs were a pain. I see those plug wires were tough enough to remove on the front side, and they were easy to get to. I think I remember putting dielectric grease inside the new wire boots to make them easy to remove the next time.
thanks for sharing Agostino
Had an 06 Freestar 4.2L same thing. Take off windshield to engine plastic and just slip your hands behind and do everything by touch. Would always buy plugs and wires because you knew it would be an epic battle. Now with a Kia Rondo 2.7L you just remove the surge tank which is just as big a pain, so...🤪
thanks for sharing your experience. i hope i don't get to repair that kind of car. LOL
Car gods help me I can’t get the last spark last one to the right side should I get another extension
Aloha!!😎🤙
Jesus Christ is king!!! Love your videos wish I would have stumbled across your page long ago.. God Bless
warm up the engine for easy removal good job!
Wow that’s a burger to get to 1-3-5 😮 thanks for sharing, have you replaced the coil pack itself? ❤
Glad I'm not the only one who loses patience after something fights me more then it should.
Thx419x tool is the way to do it. If your on a budget a ratchet strap after removing both front dog bone motor mounts then ratchet engine forward to get easy access to rear plugs. Take your time, don't get frustrated. Use quality plugs and lube boots with silicone or dielectric grease.
Oddly enough 1 is the same one I’m having issues with too 😂
That usually works
(By the power of Greyskull) lol 😆
Anytime I have problem that's when I use all my strength 💪🏾
YUP!! LOL
Peace be with u
Do the spark plugs for this vehicle need lubricant? I have an 02 Malibu and want to change spark plugs but can’t find anything in the manual on whether or not it requires grease or lubricant
Bravo la classant à dallas
Amen Kuya. Thank you Lord Yashua ! the Best way to start the day.. some daily bread 🙏
always thank the lord because your life is a gift.
#1 spark plug blew out of my Malibu. Threads are stripped in the spark plug hole. Help! Any ideas on how to possibly rethread it when it's so hard to get to?
Thailand 🇹🇭 😄 🙏 👍🤙
Hi! Bosh spur plugs made in germany or us?
The Lisle 51250 is good for saving the boots and the Thexton THX419X to pull the engine forward or ratchet strap. Or take out the coil packs. Still no fun.
How did you fix the part that broke? Did I miss that?
I have do this 2004 ford freestar 4.2 litre the plugs in the back are witch might loosen the motor mount jack up the motor to get my hand back there some days are a little tight & rough
I did a job same like that . They was hard to take it out.
If you thought that this was hard, try it on Toyota 1MZ-FE where you have to take apart half the damn engine and that strut bar will be in your way too.
The 2GR-FE on a Toyota Avalon is another PITA. Have to remove the windshield wiper arms, windshield cowl and intake air surge tank to get to the bank 1 sparkplugs.
@@dc5723 I did it without removing the cowl. I wish I would have just removed it.
*LIKE !!!*
"There we go"
"Oh shit"
Sorry I laughed there 😂 that looks like a PITA of a job man
LOL
I’m not sure why no anti seize. Is this a Chevy thing ? Or your preference ? Thank you for the videos
Good🇸🇦
Would only use Delco or NGK ( makes them for Delco).
Function: What is the function of the black ring on the spark plug socket?
Good day! I'm one of your avid fans and a subscriber here in Las Vegas. Is is possible to bring my car to you? Really want to meet you! Thanks and God Bless.
I guess using a mirror in those tight back areas would help a lot to help you see the problem.
yes you are right. will do next time
@@FixItAngel have a great week and stay cool. 😎 ✌
@@aBc-123-XyZ same to you brother. Stay safe and stay well 🙏🏽
Confusing whether you should be putting silicone paste ( conductor or insulator?) or dielectric grease (insulator) or vaseline petroleum jelly (conductor) in there for next time, or does it in practice matter.
Petroleum jelly is harmful to rubber.
dielectric grease is used for electrical connectors, ignition systems. sillycone is also ok to use. both does not conduct electricity and waterproof. I did not have any dielectric so i use sillycone grease. gotta use what you have.
Unbolt the front engine support and pull the engine forward (roll the engine forward) that's in GM manual anyway put some electrical grease on the boot
lucky guy with such a hot lady next door. great job on the vid. thanks
Same thing happend to me but on cylinder 5 the boot ripped in 3 pieces I had to grab a hose plier
Easier access from under car. Or, loosen engine brackets on core support, ratchet strap engine forward and you'll have more room to work from up top. Take care bro
i will try that next time. thank you for watching
Iam from lraq
The rear plugs are easy 2 motor Mount bolts ratchet strap the motor forward remove the coil got about a foot of room to work with
i will try that next time. thanks
Took me days to recover from that
What year is this car
hi
Say why not try twisting the boot, while pulling on the it?
Lmao 🤣 yeah that’s telling that wire !! And you should have used the Power of gray skull from the beginning !!! Good thing your not a dentist 🦷 , you would have pulled out 5 different teeth before taking the correct one out ..🤔. Thanks bro “🤙🏻
LOL
Bengals FTW
who you got??
I got the truckers shutting the whole circus filled with anti-American traitors down.
autolite spark plugs are decent and a cheaper option (XP606 Autolite)
I am a retired mechanic and my 5.7 hemi is a pain on the back 2 drivers side
now i'm not looking forward to doing that repair
Use a Mirrow ángel 👼
i will next time. thank you
I'll have to see if the rear bank can be reached from underneath the car. Looks like 'maybe" from the camera angle.
