The only thing I really want from my Mr. Fantastic is to see him portrayed as neurodivergent. It's something we have yet to see accurately portrayed on big screen superhero films.
@@VitaPlenaReactionVideos It's pretty much a defining characteristic of Reed. He understands things on a different level than anyone else. I think Ryan has it spot on. Bring back Miles as the Maker!! That could bring it all together in a great way. Think about watching all the movies, after they're all released. As a kid who would have watched all the movies. This would make up for the horrible 2015 movie.
I wish Marvel would just got ahead and hand Ryan the reigns. Every pitch he does is better than what we end up with.

They post it just in case they get it right so they can say I told you so.
Without a real build up of reed Richard’s the hero I feel like this idea would fall flat for most fans
I'm on board, but I also I think we see God Emperor Doom in the postcredit scene of Deadpool & Wolverine, revealed to be manipulating the TVA into a version compatible with his own Secret Wars plans.
- GED uses the Void as Battleworld. He's nauseated by the thought of endless lesser copies of himself, so he's not trying to 'stop Kang' or 'replace Kang' - he wants to end the multiverse altogether, and be a true God Emperor Doom. So he's working to induce simultaneous omniversal incursion, collapsing all reality into one essential plane of existence (the next universe that post-multiverse-saga folk live in).
- The Maker comes in, in the ways and for the reasons you describe, and leads the X-Men to try to preserve as much of 'his' / 'their' reality as possible in this new universe.
- Reed and his family escape the incursion that his universe's Galactus causes, which destroys their home universe in the Fantastic Four movie coming out in 2025. After that, Reed leads the Avengers and 616 to try to prevent any more incursions, being horrified at what an incursion did to his own home.
Throw all that into a giant bag and shake vigorously.
Voila! X-Men: Secret Wars (replacing Avengers: Kang Dynasty) in 2026, Avengers: Secret Wars in 2027.
The best is when you fast forward the advertisement part right at the exact end of it on the first attempt 🎉 ... Wish it happened more often

Miles Teller as the Maker is a genius idea. I can see in one of the Avengers movies, getting John Krazinski, Pedro Pascal, Ioan Gruffodd and even Alex Hyde-White (if they really wanna correct Marvel mistakes) to face off against Miles' Reed.
It would be similar to Spiderman No Way Home in how the older 2 Peter's had to stop Holland's from killing the Green Goblin.

If the F4 movie is going to explore the F4 doing some universe-hopping then it would kind of make sense to see Miles Teller pop up as The Maker... *but not immediately*. Maybe he's saved from an incursion by Pedro's F4 group, sorta like Matt Damon's character from Interstellar, and is brought to their universe, or Teller's version winds up in another universe where he then becomes The Maker. This could take Teller's Reed from being a one-shot villain who lives and dies in one single movie to having an actual arc that is explored across a trilogy of F4 films similar to Thanos's arc in multiple movies.

I mean, you can have both iterations, reed and maker exist at the same time. Never acknowledge maker is reed, until it's fitting for a shocking reveal. I didn't know who the maker was until watching this just now, and I assume most casual fans, like myself would be equally as clueless.
It could be a "I am your father" moment. The only issue with that is, if you use the name maker, the twist will get spoiled right away by videos and articles like this... So, do it, but give em a new red herring name.

This precise redemption for Fant4stic had been a real sticking big in my craw. The entire layout for a villainous recast is laid bare for anyone to see. Casting fine, rationale could be bold or nuanced and cliff hangered but building the city. The "cataclysm" as I like to call it and the helmet. Oh yes! All of the YESES!

So side question. In MoM Christine says that they designated the MCU as 616 and that their own as 838. Why , if they were the ones doling out the numbers wouldn't they designate themselves s 1. AND even more, if someone else designated them 838, would they give another universe a lower number?
This is a big-brain idea! It'll make the 2015 FF movie relevant. You could have a scene with Majors being taken out by Reed, in the first 10 minutes of the next Avengers movie.
I would say Phase 7 or 8 we get Fantastic Four 2 with The Maker returning after Secret Wars

For the multiverse arc, I could see The Maker being the replacement.
Then, once that’s dealt with IF they do Kang Dynasty before Secret Wars/Battle world, that’s what will roll Dr Doom into being the definitive big bad.

Love it. What a clever way to intro our good guy REED RICHARDS into a universe, and fan base, that's already fallen in love with TONY STARK, and doesn't necessarily need some NEW GUY showing up to be put on a pedestal that he's, in any way, better / smarter than Tony. But by SHOWING US his complicated nuances vs his evil self... it would endear us to Reed. As a non-comics reader, but a movie watcher, I've honestly never understood the obsession with the Fantastic Four. I trust and believe it. But personally, all I have to go on are the crappy movies. DON'T TELL ME... SHOW ME. Win me over by giving me some hot Reed on Reed action!

There is so many characters, they could focus on Avengers vs Avengers story. Incursions are already a fight against "nature". The fact the heroes could have different ideas to handle the problem, could lead to a conflict which would interesting enough to follow the story. If MCU doesn't want to bring back Kang, that's okay, they didnt make him intimidating enough

This is a great story for fans like us. General public will not be able to follow complicated storylines with multiple versions of the same character. Ultimately marvels movies need to make money again. That is through simpler character driven stories that make people feel emotions.
I love this idea for Miles Teller Reed Richards to be The Maker.
It would honestly put his direct counterpart on the qualifying round, everyone will know how serious this new character reed richards really is. Thatll be like powerscaling, reed will have to show feats but itll transition well to who marvel really wants to get right, the third contender-the wild card, that muhhfuggin victor von papa.
It's an interesting idea, but I still think they have a lot of storyline to work out with Kang. Even if Majors is gone, they did a lot of buildup and it can't just fizzle out and lead to nowhere. They at least have to have the plot make sense. So I think it might be too early to have the Maker as the big bad. He could definitely show up in Secret Wars, but I still think they're gonna be mainly focusing on Kang and then Doom.
If Marvel actually decides to make Reed into the MCU version of the Maker/Kang... that would be epic. the main problem I see in going this route is that the characters aren't established; when Ultimate Reed killed his FF it was a total unexpected twist... here's we're not invested and we will see it coming.

Sounds good but I'm a little lost: Will Pedro galvanize the MCU, X-Men & Sony Spider-Verse Characters to fight the Miles Teller version of himself (who I presume will have eliminated all Kangs by Avengers 6) 🤔
Also, does that mean Miles (as The Maker) will serve as the God Emperor Doom in the MCU's Secret Wars?? That might work: It's probably too late to introduce a Thanos-level Dr. Doom antagonist before Avengers 5 & 6.

If they do Reed as the “big bad” they should do this fantastic 4 movie like the first avengers film. Marvel first family wins and saves the day so “The Maker” sees this happening and hits the end credit scene similar to thanos “I’ll do it myself” then boom secret wars plot begins

John Krasinski should play the Maker version of Reed, John being the Fox Reed would make sense with him being alongside Patrick Stewart in MoM

Yes, The Maker would be cool, but he has the same issue as Doom that he isn’t set up properly. F4 will have likely one occurrence before Secret Wars. If they wanted to do an evil variant of a super genius hero, they should do Superior Iron Man. Tony was built up over an entire saga and is very familiar to the scope of all fans of the MCU. The MCU has a poor familiarity issue with pretty much any new villain they introduce. Kang has pretty much already had the damage done, Doom and Galactus haven’t been set up yet, or they can use an already established character. If they use a villain it probably wouldn’t feel different enough and would feel like cheap damage control, so we should make it a variant of an iconic hero that is a villain in their reality. It would be heartbreaking for both us and the other heroes to see one of the best characters in the MCU as the saga ending villain. Also we’ve seen in 838 that in that universe, Ultron worked as intended so we could have troops and tie Ultron back into the plot like some fans were hoping for. While The Maker’s motives fit better with the end goal, They can really do evil Tony Stark however they want. He could want to stop incursions and be more sympathetic, or he could be pure evil and want to rule over all existence. However they want to do it.
I will say though that the MCU hasn’t focused on the Multiverse enough to build up to the 2015 Secret Wars. 838 could’ve been our MCU Ultimate Universe and openly build up beef between the two universes. But they’ve spent all of their budget building up their main universe and halfway through the saga it feels too late now. I think really at this point the best way to do it is use Deadpool 3 and Fantastic 4 to integrate those franchises into the MCU, close up the multiverse after, then do the 1984 Secret Wars, with the Beyonder storyline. Then have the universe soft rebooted so that this universe has always included all of these characters.
I think it’s a great idea. And it leaves Dr Doom open for a solo origins movie which would be awesome because he’s the best villain ever in my book!

I would include Micheal B Jordan’s Human Torch and have him team up with brought back Jessica Alba Invisible Woman, Chris Evans Human Torch and Ioan Gruffudds Mr. Fantastic to try to take Miles Tellers Maker down. They will lose and the true evilness of the maker will be shown. I would love that!
Marvel could also just recast the role of Kang. It's not like they haven't done that before. I know that you would rather see the same actors play the same role in all the various movies. The problem arises when that actor becomes unavailable or, like Jonathan Mayor, becomes PR poison. The thing I dislike more than bad storylines are unfinished/abandoned storylines.
are we sure the movie is set in the 1960s? that Johnny poster they put out is definitely not 1960s NYC. it seems more like a Jetsons style alternate universe, maybe with a 60s aesthetic. Anyways, I bet in Secret Wars, we'll get a The Maker reference when Reed does something selfish to try to bring his "utopia" universe back instead of going with the plan that the other heroes agreed to, which is to create a new combined universe. But whatever he does likely won't be irredeemable, since he'll be one of their headlining heroes for the future.

Miles Tellers version of Mr. Fantastic would be ideal as a Maker version of Reed. He would be a fun rival to Pascal.

Interesting theory, but I hope it's not true. I'd be fine with 616 Reed vs. Ultimate Mirror-Mirror Reed, but making the main guy an asshole doesn't feel right to me.
It may be true. It goes along with the rumors that it will the reboot will focus on Susan Storm and one of the main plots will be how she is being held back and has to sacrifice a lot by being married to Reed Richards.
