I will always remember Henrik Sedin leading the rest of the Canucks to shake Ryan Smyth's hand in his last NHL game with the Oilers. The guy is all class and so underrated, so is his brother.
The Sedins will forever be a big part of the Canucks, cup or not. They showed the city what loyalty really means. Congrats to Henrik (and soon Danny as well).
I saw this video's thumbnail and title last night and thanks to that I dreamed of skating with Henrik Sedin and I told my mother that we are celebrating his 1000 points in the dream. How you should care about this is beyond me but it was a nice dream. /Wings fan
I allways call the the twinkle toes or the ballerinas but this is great way to go Henrik I got to see you live and coming from a Toronto fan. way to go!
Daniel would have to come and they make a combined total of 14 million to the cap and that extends through next year, good luck moving them to a contender...
filteredwheat08 16 years and they've only been in 1 Stanley cup final. Don't quote me on that I think they've only been in one final. It's really sad to be honest
I wouldn't say it's sad really. Plenty of prolific veterans have never gotten to win the cup (so far), like OV, Thornton/Marleau/Pavelski, Iginla, Luongo, Lundqvist, Doan, etc. At least the Sedins have Olympic and World Championship golds, made it to game 7 of the finals, and will easily go to the HHoF anyway. They'll finish as the only brothers in history to combine for 2000+ points, if you don't count the Gretzkys (Brent has 4 points, lol).
How is getting 1000 points overrated? Are you one of the other 84 who've gotten 1000 points in the NHL? Who cares if Crosby is 5 points away either. We're not comparing players on a tribute video. The Sedins have shown so much class and respect to this franchise.

Howard H Thats called good sportsmanship

4, 5 years on they still have such a major impact on the franchise, the city, and the province. Not too many players league wide can do that ❤️

The sedins have changed the hockey in vancouver forever

way to go!
Congrats! :D
Henrik is my favorite player
Congrats
Congrats Henrik!
One of the most underrated players ever
He must've been like "Where the hell is my golden stick?"
VERY COOL !!
only 14 points left for daniel!
At least Canucks fans have 1 thing to celebrate this year.
BottleBoy Except they will also have Thornton's 1000th assist, Burns amazing season, as well as playoffs to look forward to.
Poe Javelski 2 once Daniel gets point number 1000 lol
Eatyocarrots I That's next season.
+Poe Javelski I'd rather be in rebuild mode than lose in the 2nd/3rd round in the playoffs every year mode
+Poe Javelski Sharks might be better but I don't see them winning any cups either. If your not first your last
Crosbys only needs a couple more points and he's got 1000
i love the sedins but it upsets me that he might not ever be able to hold the cup. :(
😄👍🏼👍🏼
Mic! You're a hockey fan??
Hey, oh yeah! for almost all my life :)
I think luongo let that one by on purpose
mitch marner no I don't think so
Craig Rice yea he was a friend of henrik
batcoon captaincoon then you didn't watch the game.
He better be traded at some point
he wont be he said he'd rather finish his career in vancouver than get traded for a chance to win a cup
im pretty sure he's lived in van for longer than he's lived in sweden
DirtyCurt he can still live in Vancouver if he wants. But there is a 0.0000000001% chance of him winning a cup if he doesn't change teams
Daniel would have to come and they make a combined total of 14 million to the cap and that extends through next year, good luck moving them to a contender...
i really hope both sedins can win the cup together... just not with Vancouver lmao
Too bad he's never going to win the Stanley cup. He and his brother are legendary but the team they play for are garbage.
whitepaws60 true they should fire willy

Sean Avery Blues don't have a cup ethers nether does Ovi.

I hope they get traded to a cup team when Vancouver goes full rebuild so they have a chance to win it.
overrated
Jack Wall he's so good
lol "over" rated? everyone hates on the sedins
