- A convincing mixture (given the technology of the time) of puppetry and stop-motion animation courtesy of the legendary George Pal.
Tony Randall puts in a faultless vocal performance too.

You know,it's a amazing how some 40 or 50 years ago,how some movies were the most entertaining works ever made. You really don't think about it ,until you're reminded of your childhood when you see these movies again.
I like that each "face" has its own tune, and that we hear each tune with each "face" at the grand finale.
Absolutely one of my favorite movies, hands down...love this scene too. I wish I owned that serpent puppet!
Anyone else see a little inspiration for Yoda in here?
I saw it as a kid at the big screen. Amazing!
"Do I look familiar to you?" - Imagine that snake asking Mr. Bean.
It's Arthur O'Connell's face but Tony Randall is voicing the serpent. Actually it could actually be '8 Faces of Dr. Lao' as you see Tony Randall as a face in the crowd later in the movie.
I'm heartbroken over the fact that this movie was removed
beautiful scene from deep movie...a classic.
Some movies should not be remade and this is a cult classic. But if there was a case for remaking this, it should be given to Terry Gilliam. He would do it justice. But only him.
This scene makes me laugh a lot! You re the most imperfect creature I've ever seeing
I’ve just come across this after remembering watching as a kid in the 70’s. I knew the scene but could never find what film if was until now. Going to have to watch the whole movie.
magnific movie , the snake smooking
I haven't seen this in 30 years, that was a trip
Why is this movie never on tv?
please upload the Lochness monster, out of the water scene !!
@FlamingoKicker
i think that is the whole point, that he could all easily escape or walk away from all we are , no?

Mr Stark. Not Tony’s grandpa by any chance?
Esta película la vi teniendo 12 años nunca me olvidado
