Usyk just has his number. Joshua is a very good heavyweight and was a good world champ, but Usyk is just a different level.
100% well put
Nope he's not very good at all he's been beaten 3 times now. If he fights fury loses by knock out wilder knocks him out and Joyce will knock him out. He will never be world champion again. If you think differently you know nothing about boxing. He's not top 5 heavyweight anymore he was on paper knocking out bums like pulev and over the hill klitschkos in their 40s
@@JC-ej1zy well I'd disagree with you my friend, without saying "you know nothing about boxing". Why is it so many boxing fans are so obsessed with being seen as knowledgeable and putting down people with a different opinion btw?
Yes he'd lose to Fury, but Fury is a great fighter and champion, again a level above Joshua. I don't think him Vs Wilder is a clear fight, same with Joyce. Personally think if AJ can get himself active and in the right mindset again he can cause problems in the division, but you may be right in terms of not being a world champ again.
Do you speak like this to people irl about boxing out of interest? All spiteful and angry?
@@JC-ej1zy Ali lost five times, and many legends lost many more times. Losses don't mean much. Even Lennox Lewis got KO'd twice, and neither of the men that did it were any great themselves. It's why a Marciano or Fury is so damn rare. No heavyweights goes undefeated.
Anthony Joshua doesn't know how to fight. He's not good.
Usyk has an excellent strategy he starts incredibly fast. Throws hundreds of punches in the first 3 rounds while his opponents try to figure him out. Then he slows down for a few rounds conserving energy. Then turns it up the last 3 rounds. He’s still going to win some mid rounds. Doing this means his opponent’s pretty much have to KO him. He will out punch them and score lots of points. He may not be a headhunter with highlight reel KOs, but he is technical master.
Joshua did a good job. He was too hard on himself.
Man AJ's stamina has improved leaps and bounds. He fought great. Usyk is just an all time great.
Footwork of Usyk is amazing.First heavyweight I seen that uses the Loma Matrix.
Excatly, I was looking for this Loma Matrix footwork comment! URA!
Loma foot work Is circle right, angling his left between the guard. It's not the same is this normal south paw foot work.
Usyks rhythm is just insane!!!!
Many boxers struggle with Usyk at 70% speed, and then he tunes it up when they are tired or having success against him. He's got a good tank and then manages it even better than opponents less durable.
he gets them before they are tired hes just too good
God, our Father in Heaven, loves us immensely. His greatest gift to humankind, His Son, Jesus Christ, reflects that love. John 3:16
AJ tried to outbox the better boxer and never let his hands fully go.
Usyk win 116-112.
Joshua had a very good fight, but Usyk was better

@@NickB9W that’s why we want the fight. Lots of experts but boxing is done in the ring.
@@jenscee7679 I watched a few fights yesterday, I got the impression that Usyk should win Fury. But, he would have lost to Ruiz. Ruiz has exactly the style of fighting that Usyk had problems with in the cruiserweight division.
Joshua really needs to work on being consistent, he had success in both fights but did not follow up on it, a good fight none the less, Usyk is class as always.
Great USYK!!!!! 🇺🇦🇵🇱
Uysk is in phenomenal shape to maintain that pace. Reminds me of Ali vs Frazier 2 & 3. Uysk's foot work is some what like Ali & Mike Tyson with the right lateral movements.

Usyk beat that post fight speech out of Joshua.
AJ's punching technique makes him open.
Сильный бій. Усік, ти, молодчина українська. 🇺🇦
AJ improved a lot.
Those usyk jabs are just beautiful
Usyk clearly won this fight
Usyk had a simple game plan: throw so much more punches than Joshua, they dont have to carry power but he would win by points...Joshua's game plan was to land some big punches that would hurt Usyk but he never followed up when he successfully landed.
I can understand the split decision because someone may consider that heavy punches do more damage than ligth touches to the face, but Ultimately Usyk rightly was given the decision, would have been unbelievable to give it to Joshua.
Я так думаю, что невероятно отдать победу Джошуа, было основным мотивом отдачи победы Усику
If you know about box scoring system and how does it work , u couldn’t understand split decision (it is hilarious )
neither, Usyk is one of the best boxer of all time, besides dominating Joshua for 2x12 rounds
@@MEqwed well, so far he has done what most think he couldn't do, somewhere i still feel Joshua could have done more...but until we find that person who would ware him donw, he would sound rather invincible
@@romanmalysh4782 you make it sound like its rocket science...there is a reason there are three refs and not two or four...and the concept of spilt is a tie breaker....Usyk out landed Joshua in many of the rounds, but a ref may look at a round where he wasn't so successful but Joshua landed one or two heavy punches and award to Joshua....look at it like this, Fighter A may land a hundred punches on fighter B, but if Fighter B manages to land just one punch that rocks A, a ref is at liberty to give that round to B rather than A, which is why we have three refs to break such ties.
That man is a freak of nature to my fellow boxing fans please enjoy and admire greatness it doesn’t come round so often.
Humour , intellect, hard work and natural god giving talent.🙏
Far superior footwork won him that fight.
Usyk was like the wild dogs that goes round and round and round a big prey untill the prey give up and it eat it alive without killing it
Yeah, he doesn't need one hit that blows his head off. He prefers to be like a epee: a lot of small but important wounds give their result.
@@NickB9W true
hes called the cat for a reason. he toys with his prey
@@NickB9W so true,he made Joshua look novice
I got the impression that Joshua has never realized the potential he has. I think he boxed at 50-60% of what he would really be if he exploited his abilities: he is a cold, slow boxer, without determination, if he had blood he would be unbeatable.
I 100% agree
Think you are wrong. Josh is a big man with big muscles . Those tire out a lot quicker than a smaller man that moves like Usyk. Usik is a more talented boxer that Joshua can't catch with a big hit. Thus Usik gets the points & wins .
Spoken like a fanboy with no basis for anything he says
He was touted as 100% . On paper, he should KO parker and Ruiz, he was saved alot in the parker fight and Ruiz knocked him out . When the media was on him for the Ruiz rematch, he asked the media to focus on Ruiz, knowing that the new champ would not train well and be drowned in stardom and food of course. He beat a out of shape Ruiz. Now it was revealed that Wilder did want to fight Joshua at the centre of boxing, las vegas and Joshua refused. We all know wilder was never afraid of anyone because he knows his power knockout punch,
I agree
He had an amazing physique and seems to hold it back
If he had the right killer mindset he would throttle opponents
Gonna be very interesting to see Usyk and Fury match up
EASY WIN FOR USYK
@@freedom4life123 I hope Usyk wins, but I am worried about Fury’s reach advantage
If you compare this fight against Mike Tyson vs. Buster Douglas in 1990 it looks more like sparring how Usyk and Joshua are boxing
Yeah
Joshua vs Usyk is a pure skill boxing in the heavyweight. It is not as brutal as Mike Tyson vs. Buster Douglas but it is more high-skill boxing level.

Thanks for the upload!
Agility, dexterity, good chin, right on target ! And one of only 2 beat Artur B. on points is Usyk!!!!!
Will old boxing highlights be back on the channel?
a little bit later. Sorry for the inconvenience
Usyk definitely has his number.
AJ had the right idea going to the body and I feel like the plan was to hurt Usyk rather than outbox him but he was kinda just throwing one hard shot every time rather than just using proper technique, putting multiple punches together and relying on natural power besides round 9.
Against him a second time he had no choice. He didn't look comfortable or confident.
Usyk looks like an ancient Scythian warrior with that mustache and hair
I think 115-113 Usyk is the fairest score
I gave AJ Rds 2,3,6,8,9 (not just based on this highlight reel) - his tactics in 8 & 9 were particularly exceptional, pressing Usyk back with a high guard and then just tanking Usyk's body.
It's a shame he just lost his legs in the championship rounds.
But Usyk is just another beast.
If you gave 5 rounds to Joshua you are legit braindead and shouldn't ever score boxing. He won 2 rounds mate, and you didn't even pick the correct 2 rounds 😂
agreed
After Muhammad Ali he is the one with so much movements and improvisations on the feet ( what a foot work and movement)
BRILLIANT AJ !!!!
Usyk moves with the agility and speed of a 5'6" boxer, making it challenging for Joshua to keep up with him in the ring.
Well done Usyk. AJ unloaded some whoppers in that fight and Usyk stood strong. Can be no shame for AJ after that fight. I can even forgive his ring chat afterwards. The pressure he has been under is crazy. Look forward to see more of AJ Usyk, Fury and Wilder mix it up.
why? He was incredibly disrespectful and immature post-fight
@@ElStink4Kyeah he was. But its such insane pressure...i think its really unfair to hold it against him
I love the head movement of usyk and in and out
The fight Joshua only by knockout could have Won...it was clear as hell...
Surprised he didn't realize it
He realized it dummy. He couldn't make it happen. Usyk is too good for him. Cope.
@@forwardmoving8252 Too Good for Everybody in the Current Division
This Usyk dude is even more elusive than a prime Ali. Ali didn't have Usyk's side-stepping footwork. Currently, the one boxer can be compared to Usyk's footwork is Dmitry Bivol. But Bivol is a LHW.
très beau combats !
As stated below..the lighter man will always throw more punches than the heavier..the impressive thing was how usyk takes these heavy blows...just so disappointed Joshua doesn't bully him into a corner and use his extra size and power.. is usyk really that much better than klitchko?
klichko was 41 when he fought joshua waaay past his prime... joshua was peaked young with stamina and powerfull no way joshua with 41 will be a match for a top boxer
Klitschko lost to Joshua at the end of his career. Whether Klitschko was younger or Joshua older, no one knows how the fight would have ended. Well, be revenge - perhaps Klitschko would have won. We will never know this again.
I heard that Klitschko wanted to return. Even actively returned to training. But a full-scale war prevented these plans.
Skill wise? Absolutely Usyk is better than Klitschko.
@@LetsGetitBoah lmfao not even close. Wlad is a top 5 all time great and successfully defended his belt for about a decade, Usyk has yet to even knock down a heavyweight fighter. This might be the dumbest boxing take I've heard in years.
Он лучше Кличко,у Владимира не было хорошей защиты,из за этого много пропускал.
I called this fight "the battle of the outside foot". When AJ had his foot on the outside he was in control, when Usyk had his foot outside AJ's he was in control. I think AJ did well to keep up that battle, since it probably comes more naturally to Usyk since he is a southpaw. AJ should not have tried to outbox him though. He should have imposed his physical size more and tied him up & shoved him around, leaned on him etc. I think Fury will toss him around like a rag doll and sap his speed and engine. It ends one of 2 ways - Fury KOs an exhausted Usyk after about 9 rounds or Usyk wins on points. I think Fury wins.
Joshua's little girl tantrum at the end says it all about him
Enough dude. He apologized. Let the man live. 💯

Well done to Usyk for taking those punches and having a massive tank and speed despite the body shots.
Fly like a butterfly sting like a bee
Master class of boxing against XXL enemy
Sehr guter Kampf
That 9th round from Joshua just pissed off Usyk into action.
Joshua should work on his stamina and utilise his jab though he improved a lot from the first bout.
Will you do highlight of whole Usyk career?
some fights were already on the channel. as far as possible yes
Some people think that great Ali would be too smal for this era, and Usyk proves that skill the only think that metters
Usik thrown more and more of precise punches to body and head .
In one round AJ hit Usik on the head from top and holding which is forbidden. It was a round where AJ looked better. Good to have this heavyweight devision now !
AJ was marginally more precise with 25% of his punching landing to Usyk’s 24%. As many in the comments raise in different ways, I guess the outcome was a battle of strategies/ game plan: Power (body shots) V Output. Joshua landed 10 of 41 punches per round while Usyk landed 14 of 59. The huge gap here is the difference in punches thrown. By the end of the fight Usyk had thrown 712 punches to AJ’s 492. Despite AJ keeping up on precision (elite), he simply couldn’t match Usyks work-rate. One reason could be weight (not saying just this, as at the moment, Usyk is the best overall boxer). The advantage of being a light exceptional cruiserweight paid dividend against an exceptional power puncher. Unfortunate AJ got emotional as we can see him improving since Ruiz. he has a chance to explore how he can close the gap on output. Considering Usyk’s extensive amateur career and his dominance in the first fight, AJ matched up better than I expected the second time. If he can sit his jabs like Fury or throw more than 2 combo power shots like Lennox, smaller fighters with quicker hands won’t keep causing him problems. He outran Ruiz but not Usyk, as the latter could also move. He needs his ‘Emmanuel Stewart’- a coach that tweak mid-career and up the gear.
Joshua made it easy for him one punch one punch one punch usick had nothing to worry about there was nothing coming back behind any of Joshua's punches
118 110 in favour of Usyk Joshua was a much improved fighter but Usyk was just way more outstanding with if not the same a similar game plan, A technical master class.
Usyk won by moving side to side, stepping back and pivoting
Usyk what a legend we love him in America
This is close fight I like usyk but joshua is my favorite too Credit to this two warriors
Anthony Joshua did a pretty good job but Usyk got more clean shots in. All in all good fight.
had Usyk 1 up goinng into the 10th and he ran away with it after that, shame joshua didnt throw more combinations in them last 3 rounds bcus up untill round 10 he had landed more punches and had a better punch accuracy %. just too many single shots, when he threw combos he looked alot more dangerous but threw nowhere near enough of them.
Could be the weight I dint understand why he doesn't wanna lose bit man would have far more leather on his pumches
AJ gas out at last 3 round
This goes to show that when your only weapon is power, you'll pretty much always get beat by someone who can box. I really hope they work out Usyk vs Fury, but I'm not sure Usyk has what it takes to dethrone Fury.
Fury wants nothing of Usyk
It's the other way round, because the Ukrainian Nazi pig knows he'd get wrecked@@davidflower3576
Usk always has the perfect game plan he's a bogeyman for anyone in the division
He outboxed him but he really didnt hurt him seroiusly. Aj did more damage and Usyk really doesnt stand a chance against Fury if that fight happens
В этом бою Джошуа слишком сильно спешил победить что опоздал !
This fight was closer than the scorecards state. Can't take it away from Usyk he is exceptional. Joshua wasn't that far off the mark, he needs to loosen up and let those hands go. I guarantee Fury will take the centre of the ring and push Usyk into the corner and unload. Joshua just needs to reset and have a few confidence-building fights and get his footwork going.
It certainly was not closer than the scorecards state, one judge gave it to AJ and the other two judges only had it a round or two between them - despite it being a fairly clear UD for usyk
@@ViicSee this is all based on opinion. No matter how we see it the right person won.
@@adrianfrost7704 so if you agree that the right person won how can you also say that the fight was closer than the scorecards suggest? any closer and its a draw or aj win😂🤦♂
@@ViicSee you state it was an clear UD which is in your opinion, but it was a split decision by fact. The other judges had Usyk winning by 2&3 rds only. There were rounds they could have been nip and tuck either way. So yes it could have been closer. Usyk did enough to win in the later rounds to get the win on two cards it could have been closer on the card to the point of a round if you want to be pedantic. However, Joshua's performance was loads better and fell slightly short against pound-for-pound great which is no great shame.
Joshua won this fight by a distance, he was robbed by cheating judges.

You can already see that Anthony is not feeling well in Ring! When we watched Anthony Dereck Vs Chisora or Anthony Joshua vs Dillian Whyte, he had a great time. He was dynamic, he hit back from counters and had no inhibitions in the ring. He was a real fighter. We loved watching his matches! I don't think you can find yourself for a long time! Sorry Anthony 🙏
Joshua has never fought chisora…
Joshua did way better in this fight and it was a lot closer than the first fight but usyk clearly won
I respect Joshua wanted to box not brawl, but damn he could have bullied Usyk with his size and power. He did not
...And made himself shorter than Usyk!!
Last time he tried that, he got knocked by Ruiz, he has crystal chin
@@diegoportillo21 ,Not Exactly!...he took 50 punches in that fight but I'd say the one on the *top* of the head signalled the end.
Good fight. Last three rounds were great championship energy! Close fight, Joshua landed heavier shots but Usyk’s punches in bunches take the cake!
Watching this back the fight was a lot closer than people think
Exactly what I was thinking while watching aswell AJ could’ve won honestly
Yhep.
I thought it was a lot closer than what a lot of people said for me aj should of circle more instead of just staying on the sing-along but the biggest letdown and I think reason why he lost was his cardio the last three rounds is where he lost
Joshua....big up for him
AJ was so vulnerable to feint overhand - straight right down the midline. Like, he could not see that pattern in Usyk’s movement at all. But, it was happening so regularly it was unbelievable
usyk does it to everyone tho
No one at heavyweight has given Usyk as "difficult" as Derek Chisora.
Man, he just charged at him, hitting air
Anyone know the song at 7:38?
Joshua's chin is so weak
Josh should've gone to the body more as this seems to be Usyk's achiles heel when fighting bigger guys.
So it’s harder for a heavier fighter to find a guy that’s smaller and can move around more unless he lands that big shot.
Are you serious! Your making excuses for AJs loss as the other bloke was smaller and too quick for him to hit ! Going on your thoughts let's put a 8stone lad in with a heavy weight !!! Fair fight . Aj was out boxed ! End off story
@@rickphillips5098 No, I’m disagreeing with what he’s saying. I’m basically repeating him like is he for real?
I just love how Joshua showed his true colors with his crybaby freakout after this 😂
The only issue I had with AJ in this fight is...he did not try to send more than one shot at a time vs usyk. If you know you caught him with a looping shot follow it with another to the body or straight down the pipe on a power jab. 1 shot at a time isnt good enough to beat Usyk.
Funny how the loser gave the victory speech 🤣🤣
To jakiś spektakl.
Usyk uno de los mejores libras x libras

Joshua tried to box with Usyk and the levels were so easy to see I have no idea what his corner were saying and seeing

Fury would make usky quite. He wouldn't stand a chance against fury. Usky told to fight Daniel doubis next and will struggle because Daniel will land big shots
Usyk was on AJ ass from the opening bell.
Usyk in fight 2 looked like a totally different fighter than in their first match, while Joshua looked the same. Usyk put on a clinic in this match, totally outclassing Joshua. Cannot wait for Fury/Usyk.
usyk looked better in the first fight
AJ should have tore him down with some little bit harder actions. People exaggerate the ability of Usyk as they exaggerated the abilities of AJ before...
Usyk is a far better boxer than Fury, but the size difference is just too great.
A tough brawler who attacks and roughs up Usyk has the best chance of beating him.
Usyk fights and moves like Pacman. AJ should either move like him or like Fury to counter Usyks moves and grooves
It looks like in order to beat AJ all you have to do is throw combinations and be first. AJ will wait for you to stop instead of countering at the same time.
The boxer AJ had to face this fight, to overcome would be impossible. I think he put on an incredible performance vs Usyk....but what do you do vs perfection?
Lennox, Ali, Holmes, Forman all would destroy these bums!
The times Anthony had Usyk, he didn't follow through and backed off when in my opinion he should've kept the pressure on when Usyk was in defense and off balance.
The body Aj the body if you can't land up top the body is there and open I mean that's basic stuff 💯
