I certainly miss watching fighters from the 70's who could box, this match was close to a WWF brawl. Fury can take a punch though and has to be able to since his arms are down all the time!!

God I miss the late 80's and entire 90's HW boxing matches. They had strategy, postioning, and skills. Nobody looked liked they were ready to defend themselves or unleash an assault on you like Tyson did. Holyfield was much the same, but more of a counter puncher. These guys looks like they're actors in a ROCKY movie. They're stance and positioning look like they aren't intending to use any leg or hip thrusting power in their punches. This is the difference between compact/agile 220 pounders vs. the "Super Heavyweights" who exist now.
This fight gets a ton of hate for being boring, lame, etc… I disagree. Firstly, can we all agree that the ring and lighting were fucking gorgeous? As far as the fight goes… A musical analogy: Boxers typically fall into one of two categories - Heavy Metal or Gangster Rap. On this night, Tyson Fury played Jazz. Everything was subtle and odd, but it was wonderful to watch if you appreciate the finer details of The Sweet Science. Bravo, Tyson

I’m sure Tyson Fury punches hard. But, his style in this fight was reminiscent of a drunken sailor in an alley fight. Klitchko looked like he wasn’t throwing punches with evil intentions. And Fury looked carefree, like a fighter who knew has was safe. If Fury had fought like he did against DeOntay Wilder, we would have had a fight! Rematches are where the money is anyway, so I’m sure someone paid Klitschko to grab and hold and pull his punches.
Honestly, Klitschko fought scared--look how upright he was throughout. Even when Fury over-extended and presented angles for countering with left hook or upper cut, Klitschko still hung back, looked unsure of a strategy, opting to hook and hold on to Fury. While Fury surely deserved this win, I still have much respect for Klitschko and his sense of civic duty to Ukraine.
if the highlight reel tells the whole story, klistchko is looking absolutely clueless against a larger man. rarely throwing and when he does try to throw, getting caught or tied up due to Fury's lack of "rhythm" If klitschko boxed earlier rounds as ferociously as he attempted in the final, this could have been a good fight.
Klitsko use to turn his back on his opponent more often thas why he was hit on the back of the head always. During his first fight with Peter he was hit by a punch to the back of the head that sent him down to the canvass.

@Chris Eubank Jr Aj's last two fights were actually better than this. Vladimir clearly couldn'tadjust to Fury because he relied alot on his reach. Fury was able to nulify his 1,2s and Vllad couldn't adjust which left him in an awkward position. Where as for usyk and Aj, you could see how they both adjusted to each other's skill level within the match which made the fight exciting. Usyk and Joshua are both comfortable in fighting taller opponents as well. I respect Fury as a fighter, but chances of him beating Aj or Usyk are as equal as the chances of them beating him as well. One of them put Vladamir down(despite his age he was more ruthless than his fight against Fury) and the other was chased out of the ring for Schooling Klitscho during sparring while preparing for Fury.
When watching this we know after thisTyson fell into a very dark hole. What drive him up to this point was gain the heavyweight title. Fortunately he survived and came out the other side a better man.
