Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) defeated Daniel Dubois (19-1, 18 KOs) at the Tarczynski Arena in Wroclaw, Poland with a knockout victory in nine rounds.
He retained the unified WBO, IBF and WBA heavyweight belts, the titles that Usyk had won from, and defended against, Anthony Joshua.
But Usyk had to weather immense pressure to win, and pick himself up from the canvas after sustaining a shot the referee deemed was a low blow. - Sport

Я с 1 раза понял что ус был пробит чисто.
Ударить рукой прямо в яички это отдельный вид искусства, но в правилах бокса это и не прописано и запрещены в принципе удары ниже пояса.
Так что удар хоть и чистый, но запрещённый. Или вы бы и за чистый хай-кик топили бы?
Возможно вам бы подошло ММА образца 90-х. Правда и там не было полного анлимита разрешенных приемов.

It was legal and was not a low blow. He just got hurt.
Usyk has a nice looping right hook/jab where he used it over the top of Dubois jab very effectively. He also was able to paw at Dubois' jab pushing it down while he threw that right jab/sweeping hook. Great mentality and a really quick recognition and adjustment. Incredibly smart in the ring is Usyk.

As expected people who just hate usyk or have cataracts in their eyes complaining about the super obvious low blow. Low blow doesn't mean nutz, it means below the navel which it was. When you hit the groin area it still hurts like hell, and the protector cup shifts. Casuals know nothing but to not realise where the impact was is low and also the obvious super low trajectory is just plain dumb.

you do know the belt line is not the elastic on the shorts? the belt line is normaly around the belly button hight, but can be slightly different of different people. ddds fist made contact and traveled upwards, when the punch stopped traveling ddds thumb was around the bellybutton hight making the rest of the glove bellow the belt line and making this a low blow. you dont need to make contact with the goolies for this to be a low blow and be painfull

Look at where his fist first makes contact and then where it stops, first contact is well under the belt line and when it stops traveling up the thumb part of the glove is probably borderline, the rest of the glove is low. Usyk was bent over as the punch landed making his gut lower and closer to his tackle, ddd has a big fist and its even bigger with that big glove on, maybe he was winded i dont know but its still low to be hit there

For a start, and not that it matters because dubois' whole glove was below the belt and even partially connected with usyks trunks ye wally..but the glove doesn't have to be fully below the line to be considered a low blow. Secondly, there are no "Official rule"..every boxing board words the rule differently. Which of course you'd know if you'd actually read them which you clearly haven't. Some say the top of the hipbones is the line and some say the navel, but either way it was low because the shot landed below both ffs! К томуже если бы он реально потряс его этим ударом последующие удаоы в эту область он уже не выдержал. А дюбуа попадал и очень часто и жестко. Из этого следует что всеже это был удар ниже пояса.

It was close but it was about 2 inches two low, but ive been hit to the junk with a hockey puck it took the wind out of me just like that, I believe him based on my own experience, That is 100 percent how i acted.
All the boxers wear their shorts super high up. The punch was right on the waist band which he was wearing above the waist it was a clean shot and that fight should of been over it was a knock out.

Not a low blow. Low blow is in groin below the belt. This was center mass on the thickness of the belt, just right of center. 2.49 on the video.
In martial arts, acupuncture, shiatsu, there is an energy center about 2 inches below the navel. If you hit that while the person is breathing in, it enhances the blows effect significantly. Further enhanced by upward angle of the strike. This lifts the diaphragm forcing air out of the lungs adding to winding effect. DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME.
Having a paralyzing, incapacitating pain radiating out to the surrounding area severely winding the person, by upsetting the circulation and regular breathing simultaneously, which can cause temporary trembling, and weakness, needing a several minutes to recover. Confirmed the boxer's right arm trembling at 3.02.
Notice Usyk was not clutching his groin, or indicated he was struck there. As often happens when boxers get hit there. That too should have confirmed to the referee not as not a low blow. He was badly winded trying to catch his breath with his right hand trembling. The blow was just to right of center, catching the right side of it. Dead center, unlikely to continue the round.
More often occurs with a hard blow to the solar plexus center line about 2 inches below the sternum.

The result of this fight was clearly wrong. The fight video proves. Dubois clearly won the fight by TKO 2.47 of Round 5
An investigation is needed in to the referee regarding his decisions in Round 5. On his fitness to be a referee. And appropriate action taken on the outcome, including amending the result of the fight.
Short term minor embarrassing hiccup, yes. It happens to the best of us. But long term, sporting integrity and honor is restored
To the sports boxing fans it would be the right thing to do. Admitting to a mistake by the Referee and correcting it and moving on.
Just take a look at some of the comments below.
Cricket adopt a similar format on calling for video replay before calling a final decision even with two umpires present.
High time boxing did the same, to prevent any future errors by errant referees. While maintaining the highest standards of integrity, honesty, valor.

Any hit below the trunks is illegal half of his glove hit below the belt. Quit making excuses for a guy who got out boxed the entire fight. The only time he did any damage was when he hit him illegally. I've been hit in the junk with a hockey puck and I acted the exact same way. i went straight down lost my breath and shook in pain. These are all common reactions to getting hit in the junk.
You re right about Usyk outboxing Dubois, no doubt, but if his balls are up there he needs surgery. Pause at 2:48, his short is super high, however the glove is still mostly on the belt. His testicules are 20 cm below. He got caught, happens to everyone even the greatest.

Дурень, "удар ниже пояса" - это удар ниже того пояса, который у боксеров, а не который у обычных людей на штанах. Удары в мочевой пузырь уже считаются ниже пояса. Они запрещены именно потому, что такой удар может привести к разрыву мочевого пузыря и серьёзным последствиям. Удар ниже пояса в боксе - это не удар в пах. То есть, не только он, но и все, что ниже верхнего уровня шорт боксеров.

Дибуа после боя говорил, что этот удар они долго отрабатовали и он сработал, оно так и есть. Усик должен был проиграть техническим накаутом. Но есть одно но. Кто такой Дибуа и кто такой Усик. Полный зал зрителей пришел посмотреть на красивый бокс или заготовку одного удара Дибуа ? В баскетболе прощали пробежку звёздам НБА если они забивали зрелищный гол. Так и здесь шоу должно продолжаться. Зритель на первом месте. Если было бы по другому они бились за пояса в закрытых пустых залах.

Болел за Усика. Но как по мне, это был чистейший удар. И складывается ощущение, что как в бою Фьюри с Нганну, так и тут - фаворитов пожалели, дабы не сорвать главное готовящееся событие - Усик Фьюри
Сто процентов просто нонсенс, в истории этого спорта на любом уровне такой удар всегда был легитимным.
Боксёры надевают бандаж и все "детали" располагаются чуть выше обычного,поэтому удар был как-раз по этим"деталям",а это очень больно!!!

@@user-sd5ks9cx8v Ну конечно конечно, а в боях например Голотта-Боу второй жестко симулировал потому что удары были по ногам, а не туда. Ведь удары Голотты были на много ниже. Я уже не говорю про реакцию боксеров на удар туда, он ни как не соответствует реакции Усика. Хорош рассказывать сказки.

To me it wasn't a low blow but i didn't see Dubois being robbed either. The referee ruled it a low blow and therefore wasn't counting so Usyk didn't have to get up. It's not because of racism or some conspiracy against Dubois, it was simply a bad call from the referee that had a split second to make it. At the end of the day, Dubois was getting completely outboxed.

I agree. I don't know if usyk would have risen in time had it not been ruled a low blow, but that's just speculation. Seeing the fight in its entirety, the better man won.

Удивляют фанаты не принимающие реальности поражения своего игрока как и своего собственного. Это признак слабости. Кто не падает, тот не встаёт. У дюбуа было время чтобы развить свой успех но его уровень пока низковат. Уважения достоин Усик высьоявший после тяжёлого удара.

Дюбуа с такими данными надо было прессинг из начало идти пресовать так как Усика удар не так уж приченяли урон
