My love for Dedede has grown when playing Smash and then when I looked back at the Kirby game series and realised that Kirby Right Back at Ya is in fact not canon to the games, this made me love him more. King Dedede is actually a laid back dude to hang around with for most of the time.

Dedede main here, is it just me or are Dedede mains the most prideful of their character of every smash character?
I mean personally bit of a sidenote here but every time I see anyone playing pyra and mythra, bayonette or god forbid that one zero suit samus skin its like “man wouldn’t want to be that guy” then I dededestroy them. Sure other ddd mains can relate

To be fair, i wouldn't even say he's broken, he looks very good with the buffs but i think he's pretty balanced still
He was like, 12th place in Brawl which was exceptional for a heavyweight. They nerfed him to ground after that. I can understand it for the Down Grab where dedede would litteraly sit on you which dealt alot of damage and little to no knockbacks which would allow you to chain grab, and his down air, and back air that was the greatest tool for edge guarding. It was all perfect till Sakurai decided to make his own character suffer, including MetaKnight and Kirby.
You loosen the shackles on the king, and all seems fun and free. Be careful that you don't push further and risk unleashing his full power.
I like how he made a video about DEEDEEDEE and played Gang Plank Galleon in the first 30 seconds of the video

As a King Dedede main, i see this as an absolute win.
4:33 I will honestly never understand why people are so against armor. Like it is an essential mechanic for big characters at this point and it still has crazy end lag so I will never understand why people think games with no armor, but have so much start up/end lag is good game design. Of all the "cheater moves" this doesn't even bother or even slightly annoy me. (This is the rare case where I AM the one saying skill issues)

Why not just make his side B Gordo be hit by dedede to change the trajectory, like how everyone else can when they hit it? Like if you side b upward to make it bounce you could do a forward air and make it launch forward, would make his projectile more useful for set ups. Or any attack from him can change the trajectory. Probably the only buff he would need to be better.
