This remix is nothing short of an absolute banger, but I feel like it'd be a crime to not recognize how awesome the video editing is to sync the instrumentation changes with cuts, laps, and in-level thematic shifts. It was like every character had their own solo. Really fun to listen to, AND watch!

Oh my gosh!! This melody was buried deep in my memory and I had completely forgotten about it, until your remix resurfaced it! Wow, I remember spending extra time in this track just listening to the music and flying around in the airplane trying to discover some secret lol! N64 games are really unique, remix videos like this make me happy because they have the potential to introduce people to games they may not have otherwise known. Great remix! 👍😃

what an increible remix. Huge fan of sound effects you decided to sample. The first time I heard the chorus, I was ever so slightly disappointed by the lack of whistling, but I still thoroughly enjoyed the creative liberties you took. Then the second chorus came in and gave me exactly what I wanted
The perfectionist self inside is so happy to hear that, haha! Sound effect choice takes a lot of time; I try to keep it simple, but just enough to get people to remember those moments while playing. And I always try to make the second drop with more flare; even though I know most people stop listening to songs halfway if the first drop doesn't hit, but for those that _do_ take the time to listen to the full track, the second drop always kicks it up just enough!!

Very nice remix, but it’s not exactly one of my favorites. This is in NO WAY your fault, but it’s the fact that in MOST cases (I’m lookin’ at YOU, Forest Maze) i can’t truly enjoy a song unless I’ve heard the OG in game. It’s kinda a nostalgia thing I suppose, so I hope this doesn’t discourage you. Keep it up, can’t wait for more Christmas remixes!

Oh my gosh, this is exactly my train of thought when I think of video game music in general. Absolutely feel you on the nostalgia thing - my best remixes are from songs I've played in-game before, because I already have a sense of how it feels to hear it while playing! And that's about 90% of my catalogue, haha! I've just played an unlimited amount of games in my life that I've heard almost everything Nintendo related 😆
In all honesty I don't know what my next Christmas remix will be! But rest assured it will be a banger! 🔥
Well, here’s some advice: don’t stress on it. My best ideas always come to me when I’m not trying to think about it, and I’m positive that once you figure out what to remix, it will be FIRE! 👍
