Diddy Kong Racing Music - Island (OST + Missing Themes)

I'm unsatisfied with the official soundtrack's mixes of the game's dynamic music. It's incomplete, inconsistent, or both. I made my own versions long ago using 64th Note and a file writing Winamp plugin.
The part where the kids sing made me nostalgic. I remember finding that music in the game and it was the best easter egg! The spot it played was constantly in motion, so when you found it and heard those kids singing, you felt accomplished!
2:44 When Taj starts singing to the island theme, it always sounds like he is saying 'beer' to me. Even when I was a kid playing this,I thought the same way.

The hours I played this with my son. He was only 4 😢 now he is 29. I do the Taj da da da dee da all the time still. May have to find a used copy so we can play again.

My childhood right here! One of the first racing video games I ever played, and this music is nostalgia to me. I would sometimes just fly around the whole Overworld as Timber the Tiger and just jam to this music!
Thanks for mixing your own more consistent version. I recently played the game to here certain parts like the children singing and it randomly came and went, and I couldn't find or figure out if I was close to a frog or the waterfall or rainbow that caused the music to change.
I'm loving everything about this! Bringing back some good memories.

I just noticed how the snowflake mountain one is a brief quote from the everfrost peak/snowball valley theme.
2:27 Taj’s rendition is my favourite. It has that real Acid Trip/ Yoga Meditation sound to it
How Taj sometimes is running around in his place was cute... I think I spent more time just roaming around the area than doing any actual race

I wonder if those kids singing are David Wise's children. It is a possibility, because sometimes game developers and composers use family members to participate like this, as an easter egg.
