Just amazing! What I like is that the tools you used are pretty straightforward but the skills are impressive. Maybe someday I'll try this. I agree that the cost breakdown would be helpful and also a list of the tools used. Maybe do a more detailed video.
Here’s a copy of a couple responses to a previous comment that gives a brief cost breakdown. You can watch the 6 individual vanity videos on our bathroom remodel playlist for more detail. If there’s a specific point in the process that you would like tools listed for, let me know and I’ll get back to you. Good luck!
We haven’t totaled it up yet. We’ll add it up and get back to you in a few hours. I can tell you that the Cambria Quartz top was $2,200 and the faucets were $170 apiece. I’m guessing that the vanity wood, the drawer glides and door hinges would all come in under $1,000 but we’ll see. That’s not bad considering the vanities alone that we got our ideas from online are nearly $4,000 for that size and are pine where ours is red oak. We did have to buy the oak that was finished on 4 sides since we didn’t have a planer at that point. But Menards has reasonably priced S4S wood in many species.
Ok, the total cost of the red oak and red oak veneer was $696. The total for the Blum soft close drawer slides was $124 and the Blum soft close hinges totaled $88. And finally, the hardware pulls totaled $59.
So I was pretty close, the vanity itself was $967 (actually $870 when counting the Menards 11% in store rebate for the wood). The quartz top that we decided on was a little expensive, but that did include delivery and installation which was the only part of the bathroom remodel that we didn’t do ourselves.
Really beautiful, do you have total cost for the project?

Thanks for this! Yea that top at 2,200 was pricey!!@@DIYBoomers
I guess my only comment is: how do you clean under it?
Very good point! I did give that some thought along the way. Those dust pad gizmos do hinge low enough at the handle to get underneath. Also, in our case, I didn’t glue 4 of the slats (2 on each side), to allow access to the water supply lines that come up from the floor along the back. Instead, after making slots in the back of the slats, I attached them with dowels (with no glue) so they can be removed. That will give us more access if necessary.
@@DIYBoomers Great build BTW.
Thanks. Yeah, I just looked up the Swiffer Wet & Dry Sweeper and it just fits underneath.
