Fun story: I was beating this game 100% recently with my brother. Near the end we joked "I bet the true ending is going o be creepypasta thing, there will be a bunch of empty levels with a hiperrealistic Croc". Of course the last three levels are empty levels made us think that our creepypasta was going to become true...
Instead of sprites with eyes and a crown, now the Gobbos look like cereal. To be specific, Golden Nuggets/Honey Smacks that've been left out in the sun for too long.
I will say that, although the game doesn’t refill hearts, it will give you a heart if you collect 50 crystals. If you collect all 100 in a level, it will max out your hearts. You can also buy a heart from Swap Meet Pete if you’re desperate. But I’d have to agree, the fame doesn’t help you out with hearts as much as it should.
Critics were way too hard on this game back in the day. The level design is excellent, the graphics contain much more detail, and the bosses are very entertaining. While it may not be perfect, Croc 2 nails the formula of a 3D platformer.
Hey Nitro Rad, I actually 100% completed this game, and sorry to say but as soon as you get the all the eggs it just goes to the credits, no special or alternate ending exists. This is where I mentioned on the previous video that this game might have been unfinished/rushed. Actually the Gameboy color 100% ending for croc 2 was just this ending without the Baron Dante ending.
The Trophies from each world can be spent in any worlds trophy door, so you might have spent the 5 Cossack (ice) world trophies somewhere else. There is probably a level in a different world that you dont have a trophy for. Or your disc is rekt
You're really not missing much without the secret levels, they're copies of the main hubs but replacing NPCs with Dantinis and each door takes you to a mini level where you get a crystal. Get all crystals and the egg appears in the hub, get all 3 eggs and the game just... cuts to the same fast credits but this time they say "Congrats, it's 100%!". No cutscenes, you almost can't even read the message because of how fast the credits roll, it's kinda hilarious.
So, who owns the rights to Croc now? I'd love to see him come back in some form!

actually the croc 3 image is a fake, its been confirmed by the creator of croc that croc 3 was never in developement

I think Croc could come back. Its humor, characters, and presentation are what it has to offer.
Maybe instead of a puzzle, we can call it a tactical.... er, environmental....
I was shocked seeing the "life savers" product placement, in the PAL version they were just different colored jellys.
