  • After taking down this large mirror from my friend's bathroom I had this feeling like we could do something cool with it! After a bit of inspiration research, we decided to repurpose it into an extra large standing mirror for their bedroom. This was my first time doing anything like this and I'm so happy with the results! A large mirror like this would be SO expensive but we were able to create it using a mix of leftover materials and some new pieces of wood for pretty cheap! Let me know what you think in the comments!

Lucky they took your suggestion to keep the mirror because that size mirror isn't cheap. The mirror looks great! Well done guys😊

Really glad for a good idea to recycle those enormous mirrors I don't want in the bathroom! 👍
However, from a woman in her mid 50s who has been remodeling for decades...
😖 You are soooo lucky! Always, always, always when doing this kind of thing, you MUST wear jeans or khaki pants! Long sleeves, gloves, safety glasses are necessary!!! Should have kept the tape all over the glass until the last moment! Yeah, ask me why I say that.
In between mirrors, windows, glass showers, and previous owners who valued cheap over safety, I can tell you that basic work clothes, solid shoes, and safety glasses saved my tukus more times than I care to remember!
You're young and dumb and bulletproof. 😆 You haven't encountered that life changing moment yet. So take my advice and don't learn the hard way! 😘
Appreciate what you do! Wish you were closer to lend muscle now and then!
