They tried charging me a $10,000 market value fee last year even though it said $17,000 on line for a stripped down model. Told me I could get that at Carmax. I asked them why they were entitled to the extra money. I ordered one this year with no markup. I had to wait 10 months for it, but I love it.

I ordered my 2022 maverick hybrid in September of 2021. I got it. In October of 2022, I was lucky my dealer stuck to the price it was when I ordered it 😊. They are worth the wait. I regularly get 37-60 mpg in town, depending on weather and how I drive. And 30-33mpg on the hwy. It's a great fun little truck and I plan on getting another one in a few years.
@SC68170 Hybrids typically get better mpg in the city than highway because they're able to rely more on the electric motor at lower speeds. Maintaining highway speeds demands more energy production and thus relies more on the internal combustion engine.
Better than Civic or Corolla? Pitting a Ford, who has been the industry leader for recalls the past 3 years, against two of the most reliable car manufacturers, is bold. I've got hopes that they will get it right in time, but I personally wouldn't trust what Ford is currently selling over most Toyotas or Hondas

I own one of these trucks. Got 24,500 miles on it, and still runs nice 😎 a lot of these people tapking shit don't even own one. Its a good truck and became very popular for a reason: you get a lot of good for how much you pay for it.
just dropped $47,596 out the door on a lariat Awd 4k tow :) dont believe the internet folks. also I'm getting 27-32 mpg on the 2.0 turbo non hybrid version. tbh Lane centering justifies the purchase for me only reason I didn't get a lower end model. No regrets so far little thing is actually very nice to live with
They shouldve put a 5.5ft bed at least. A couch is like 6ft-7ft. It already hung over on 5.5ft beds. What are you gonna haul besides groceries in this thing? The payload is fine at 1500lbs and towing is good enough at 2000lbs and 4000lbs. This thing would be perfect if it just had more room in the bed.
We ordered 1 September 2022. September 2023 finally we got words from Ford that our Maverick is entering the production line and we were provided a VIN Number finally. Expected delivery to our local Ford dealership is mid next month, October 2023. Whole process it takes a year to receive the goods from the day you started ordering.
I bought mine and I love it. I got an XLT with a spray in bed liner and the luxury package. Mine looks very much like the one here except for the seats.

The base XL trim starts at $22k. That’s an optioned up lariat with the 2.0L Ecoboost engine. That’s not even a hybrid. Plus, it has the lariat luxury package, which is expensive
I literally saw one in the neighborhood and I was looking at it and I was like wow it's literally F-150 but really small. I heard there was going to be a completely electric version and that would be pretty cool also but for that I'm worried about how well it will use superchargers and how affordable it would be. I wouldn't be worried about range if it can cross 300 miles real world.
It's not allowed to be marked up when ordered directly. My 2023 was $38k CAD from the factory for the hybrid xlt with pretty much everything you can get on it. I've put 22k on it so far. I'm a contractor and have hauled plenty with this mighty little truck

Heres what civic/crv has over the maverick. The transmission won't blow within 90k miles and if it some how does, honda will take it in right away, where as ford will tell you that it will be 2 weeks to a month. Ain't it crazy how an american car company can't address the issue as fast as a japanese car company? I was about to buy a bronco sport when I heard about transmission problems here n' there, and I know some are lemons others go without issue, but lets say an issue did happen how well will the company take care of me? Before i went in to sign off on the vehicle, I called up 3 service garages near by as a test, and told them my bronco had a transmission problem that needs to be fixed. All of them told me they either didn't have a guy who works on them, or that it will be a 2 week to a month long wait before I can even get the car looked at let alone fixed. Where as honda told me if theres anything wrong they will take it in and care for it. Not to mention my honda has a lifetime power train warrenty, which is a lot better than what ford offers. I really like fords dont get me wrong, I think these vehicles are great ideas and look amazing but they either need to up their warrenty and customer service game, or make their cars over built and bulletproof. Honda has both those aspect going for them which is why I decided on getting a vehicle from them over ford.

Well I have to disagree. I ordered online and locked in 3% apr in early july 2022 it was finally built in end of Sept 2023. They were supposed to start at $20,000. End price was just under $23,000. They are charging me almost $28,000 for it with not all features .it's an xl and 8.9%apr . I only have the XL and gas mileage averages 32.4 mag on my hybrid. They would not allow some features to be added unless it was LARIAT .

You won’t find any for $22,000 if you’re lucky you may find low end models for $26,000 but prices I’ve seen are $28,000 to $45000
