Now we have to have exoskeleton arm wrestling, the stronger design will win
Battle bots but just cyborgs then?
Insert obligatory Full Metal Alchemist reference
Actually fucking genius idea
Sounds like something from metal gear rising
Squished arms
Dissapointed allen didnt snap a random mans forearm
I was disappointed that it didn't break his own forearm, lmao
That thing is pretty dangerous if something goes wrong after testing, lel

Absolute travesty, no popped bones, no ripped ligaments....3/10. 😂😂
here before you make a video inspired by this one
This is already dangerously dumb, he really didn't think the things would pop off like that and it actually could be worse..
And if I did a thing doing it, i genuinely would be worried cuz he always go beyond..
Just think it first, is it worth it? It takes years to fix broken arm, and it's not guaranteed your arm would be fixed..
I like how the villainous exoskeleton met its end in the most stereotypical way ever

Absolute beast.
The machine blew it's own fuse when it snagged. Winch wasn't strong enough to crush itself.
@@jnevercastSo sturdy materials. At least Allen put it together right, he just got unlucky.
Actually it was a malfunction, and he almost won regardless, he would have crushed the giant guy if his arm was working correctly

Except he did
Are you dumb? I literally just watched Iron Man beat Captain America 30 seconds ago in this exact video that you are commenting on
Alan's defeat reminds me of how a lot of sci-fi works show power armor malfunctions.
Like your armor locking down when you really need it.
Or the springlocks in the film version of William Afton's yellow rabbit suit giving away when a piece of the costume was torn off, causing the animatronic parts to slice into his chest, incapacitating him.
this is actual villain behaviour, he's taunting people stronger than him while his dastardly contraptions do the heavy lifting i love it
lol i was laughing the whole time this man is out here like oh oh oh ur so close sorry i was hitting the wrong direction on the button
In Norway, a long time ago, on a tv show. A female challenged a male comedian to arm wrestle as a joke and she accidentally broke hes arm. LoL

Allen will actually need an exoskeleton at this rate when he breaks his limbs in half doin this shit

Holy cannoli, THE ElectroBOOM.
I don't want to know how you would try to win in arm wrestling given your engineering prowess...
Perfect 3 am comment from ElectroBoom
He needed a full bridge rectifier to win.
He could just electrocute the opponent if he starts to loose.
Doods gonna walk around the rest of his life telling people he beat a guy with a mechanical exoskeleton in an arm wrestle. And he'd be technically telling the truth.
I see what u did there

In his mind he beat Ironman but really it was just a thick piece of steel hinge, might as well you said you beat a door out of it's hinges.
Yeah ripping a guy out of an exoskeleton isn't even impressive. Any idiot can do that with or without muscles
Mad respect to that absolute beast who tore his arm out of exoskeleton.
That's some cinematic kind of shit, the protagonist tearing the unnecessarily overpowered cyborg's arm out of the exoskeleton xD

My man will be telling people he beat a robotic exoskeleton for the rest of his life.
All better honestly
And technically he kinda did
@@aerickmon3350actually no, he already explained the winch cable was tangled, which means when he pressed the button the cable tightened on a sharp corner of the exoskeleton easily snapping it. That needs to be done again but with a functioning exoskeleton, just like the previous people went up against.

As for Opera - I've beein using this browser for about 18 years now and I remember their earlier attempt at tab islands and it was a cool idea but it was rather cumbersome to use. This new implementation is waaaay better and I actually do use those and it doesn't really take any effort as Opera is doing some intelligent and intuitive stuff with those islands and they mostly work without your conscious effort which I think is a key aspect of them being actually useful.
I love that the guy was so strong he popped a fuse then tore ur arm sleeve off. He will carry that pride with him forever. Thats how legends are born

if his arm and wrist were properly strapped to the steel two things would have happened: either he wins, or he ends up with an ugly injury due to the massive power of the other guy creating leverage on his wrist against the steel

This is just an episode of Dexter's Lab
I loved how Allen's mocking tone with the other contestants only made it more satisfying that someone managed to beat him.
I've seen two videos of people breaking their arms while arm wrestling and I never wanted to arm wrestle again. And adding a roborg arm to it is even more terrifying

“From the moment i understood the weakness of my flesh, it disgust me”
I love how they all seemed like good sports about it all 😊
Holy shit.
I'm a biomedical engineering student, and I've been tampering with this exact same design on my own, I even made some "proof of concept" models on my own (using popsicle sticks, yarn, and a pencil)
I've never even thought of the winch getting tangled! This will be extremely valuable to the project I'm working on.
Haha, I've also thought about making an exoskeleton like this and have a very similar design. I've always been interested in these kind of things and from all the exoskeletons I see online it's either an Ironman suit or something that doesn't seem effective, efficient or realistic. I see some problems in his design but the pulley system is nearly identical to mine. Also the attachment of the wire should be closer to the wrist allowing for more mechanical advantage.
Try a little harder than this guy did. I'm sure with the people your around at school, you can come up with something much better. Look at the Tesla but for inspiration. They have some truly inspiring engineers.
@@dbugman68bro shut up
Does that thing apply energy in the correction direction? I am not seeing how the counterforce is being applied in the correct direction. Also, btw a fully dextrous hand with spongy fingertips is a more valuable thing to invent .. just saying.
@@JS-eu5vg Well, uh, tbf, I am only a college sophomore.

This is the most genius thing I've seen in a long while - but it DOES seem kind of dangerous, I'm surprised you didn't hurt anyone.
I'm surprised HE didn't get hurt either with how his hand snapped out of that thing at the end
@@fragtrappo True. But he chooses to press the button when the other person is at max tension, PLUS that thing goes in only one speed (as opposed to a human arm wrestler who could do just enough to win but not hurt you).
@@Vladimyrful At least he wasn't hiding anything...everyone could see the mechanics. Maybe the adjusted the power to be slightly over pro wrestler strength. But true, just being able to go 0 or 1 is an issue.

Probably because he could hurt someone if the winch pulls too fast. Adrenaline pumping and working at 100% can tear muscle and ligaments.
@@UnalomeSeeker this isnt a buisness tho. if they sign a simple agreement it will be all fine even if he tears their arm off
@@ege8240 Signing agreements doesn't mean anything most of the time, in terms of injury. They're more or less a CYA for when someone does something stupid outside of the scope of the prescribed activity and gets themselves injured. Dude, it looked like you could've won most of those arm wrestles without the winch. Just by knowing good technique, you were already getting a lot of dudes to the brink of a loss, and turning on the winch was just what caused them to lose total balance. Excellent vid!!
i think that was the metal brace helping out and levering against the pad
The metal brace made it pretty much impossible to to beat him from side to side as long as the opponent didn't had enough side pressure to literally pull his whole body with it, that's still a very big advantage
@@Pepe-pq3omhe is lucky though. He could have easily broke his wrist. Likely had to stop several times to prevent that from happening

The body frame is doing all the work. He can win even without folding the arm.
Mm hmm
in short Steel > Flesh
Tell that to the last guy.
Yeah it makes you completely unable to twist and wrench on his arm, basically takes all your mechanical advantage and leverage away
the winch also pulls their arm out, opening the angle at the elbow, which reduces the strength of the biceb. It's basically breaking their poise. If the winch was functional, he would have beaten the last guy.
It doesn't have to be complex, man. You're getting better in engineering. The better you are as an engineer, the simpler and more effective your designs. Also "There is no strength in flesh, only weakness"
