Wow! I had no idea that it is so simple to tweak a top pattern like that!
QUESTION: I recently completed a dress and should have inserted elastic like that where the bodice meets the skirt. I serged the seam. Can I possibly go back and add elastic like this, and how would I go about it? Would I have to pick out my serged seam and re-do it, OR can I just zig zag over it to attach the elastic?
Your advice, as always, would be appreciated, THANKS!

Hello I learn so much from you videos I also have one of your crafsy classes. I'm new to garment sewing and surging how do you fix that stiching mistake on a surger? Would you have to cut new pieces can you take the stitches out?

you can rip the stitches out - run the seam ripper down the outside edge of the stitching and then the rest will pull out. It's take a little time, but no problem unless you cut into the fabric from the blade

How did you learn to do so many different things? Are you always taking classes? Did you start with fashion design school? Just curious.

Hi Cynthia, I graduated from college with a business degree and started a custom apparel business shortly after. I started sewing when I was about 6 and designing clothes in highschool. I ran the custom clothing business for over 15 years, now I am sharing all my fashion design and sewing tips :)

Love your videos❤❤, please help me on how to cut the front part when the front and the back have lots of difference, like for example someone with bigger boobs, thanks 🙏
