Damn, me and my buddies read the initial update features list from Skulls incorrectly and were under the impression that the shockmaul and double-barrel were also Ogryn weapons.

I'm loving the pick axe for my ogryn who has a whole backstory centered around mining. I switched his grenade to big friendly rock to make it official and he also uses a ripper to protect his prospect.
It'll be somewhere around september or october before that comes out. They said it's taking too long, and as such it won't be ready until 'the end of summer'
I mean at least it's in the cooker, (they could at least increase plasteal drops or lower cost though, it feeling rarer then diamantine is kind asinine.
The stun baton special attack instantly made me think of the Ad Mech taser goad. Look at the Rustalker and infiltrator minis, or even the Alpha Vanguard/Ranger models. The taser goad could essentially function as a 2h or 1h longer range version this 1h maul with an extremely similar weapon special.
While this content is welcome, I find the lack of meaningful progression once you've leveled up your character to 30 to be the biggest issue with this game's long-term interest. Getting marginally better (if at all) rolls on weapons that just do something slightly better is super grindy.
Because this is a half ass bare minimum update after 1 year of silence. You are right too feel how you feel now. You would think studio with 180 employees would make a good progression over time.
How do you feel about the penance changes from the last 'major' patch? I feel like that track making the penance points do something and earn you something is a pretty cool way of encouraging coming back. Maybe not perfect, but if they keep releasing new tracks and maybe special challenge ones associated with new characters, maps, or events that would be a cool way of building on it. Also I felt like the one that is currently in the game gives a better framing than before to the player's progression within the warband from a narrative standpoint.

Honestly fatshark STILL has yet to impress me with an update, the carnival came close, when that itemization update comes, that will be the time to judge for actual quality, since it's trying to fix the main problem with the gameplay loop.

They need a better managment or ceo in that company. I mean there is no excuse when you have 180 ppl working at 2 projects and deliver below average.

I got a nice god roll on my very first Bolt Pistol. :) It looks incredible and the immersion for me alone is worth it to run it. Now if only they had full auto on this thing. It has some new blessings like Puncture (adds bleed stacks) as well as some familiar ones like Deadly accurate and Surgical. What blessings are best to remove crushers?
having played since launch i'd say the optimization on PC has gotten a bit better. but if you haven't played it in a while it takes a couple matches for it to stable out, otherwise those first 2-4 games can have some worse-than-usual stutters and frame drops depending on the strength of your rig. That aside most things have gotten better, materials are a lot easier to get for one, and crafting, albiet still not where it should be is also an overall better system IMO.
I understand that they pushed back the itemization update to get it right and gather more feedback but who's excited about new gear BEFORE the itemization changes? I'm not :)
They didn't. They're intentionally withholding until after summer so they have something to compete with Space Marine 2 which just happens to come out after summer.
Unfinished buggy mess that literally no one plays. Way too little and obviously way too late, this game will never bring back its playerbase, they've killed the game by being some of the most useless devs ive ever seen, games been out for nearly 3 years and in that ENTIRE time we've had THREE maps. Too little too late.

Yeah kind of stuck with the lv 30 cap . All that is left is grinding weapon rolls …once you have what you want then nothing to chase .

havent played in like 2 months...i'll check out this update and see if they've gotten their act together...imo it's a wildly fun game but unfinished

It was released in November 2022, that wasn't 3 years ago.
It's not buggy anymore... just turn off all non-essential programs on your PC and don't set the CPU heavy features too high and it plays well now.
If game is fun, then game is fun. I dont need 500 GB of content to find this appealing
