I started with Darktide, then I went through the lore, now I'm painting my first tech priest figure. So the game does quite a good job introducing people to the 40k world.

I love many things about Darktide, but the thing I love the most is the fact that the reload animation saves your progress when interrupted.
The bolt gun’s bullet size is pretty much the same as a large can of redbull.
So they are shooting a gun, thats shooting redbull cans

I know this because he's stated " would anyone want to join me on a excursion away from atoma" the other vet "to which end?" I played it a bit with friends after release but only did a couple missions since then, looks like they'd been adding to the game; I'm interested to see what exactly. This video made me download Darktide again.
They've basically rebalanced the entire game since launch, added new weapons, remade the entire skill system (now its a proper skill tree) Changed how every enemy works, fixed a ton of bugs, added 2 missions, yea definitely worth trying again

akcthually, the snipers dont have that sound cue UNLESS you are playing the many many many snipers modifier. the cool thing about the sniper is you will see the red laser FIRST and then you are given a chance to dodge when a sound cue plays as he's about to shoot. they did a cool audio/video reverse with sniper. every other specialist you will hear before you can spot them
(or you can hear the snipers walk around but its not that loud and can be confused at first with the bomber's walking sounds)

my very first game, i picked ogryn, i was rounding the corner of the library in the deep archives mission when a beast of nurgle rounded the corner and i was by myself. needless to say, I got my shit rocked but not before throwing many many boxes at it

this game is so fun and the voiceline is sometime really hillarious the sound in the game and music is really something. The map is so full of detail whe can see this game is made by a fan of Warhammer 40. Darktide - a great game with terrible launch and despite a year of updates, my CPU still struggles to run it for more than 2 missions at a time till this day.
